Don't worry, y'all ... they're pretend ouchies
Zac Efron Shows Off His Ouchies

Yesterday we saw photos of Zac Efron making his return to Vancouver, British Columbia where he has been recalled to film a few reshoots for his upcoming new film Charlie St. Cloud. Today we get to see a few photos of Zac on set lookin’ a bit worse for the wear. As you can see in these photos, Zac will be sportin’ a few faux bloody boo boos in his new film:

While we cannot get a good look at his pretend injuries, I’m sure they are integral to the film. It’s a shame that the weather was cloudy and rainy in Vancouver when these photos were snapped cuz I was hopin’ that Zac might be reshooting a few shirtless scenes this week. I mean, yeah, the only way I’m gonna even come close to paying attention to a Zac Efron film is if there is flesh to be seen. Is that so wrong?

Oh, the horror!
Zac Efron Loves His Manpris

Zac Efron has made his way back to Vancouver, British Columbia to film some reshoots for his upcoming new film Charlie St. Cloud. As you may recall, he spent much of last Summer in Vancouver filming this movie but it would appear that the need for reshoots has brought him back to BC. Here are a couple photos of Zac making his arrival in Vancouver rockin’ a pair of manpris:

I suppose technically near-heinous article of clothing could be classified as shorts seeing as they are just at the knee but just about an inch longer and they would be certified manpris … which I find fug, fug, fug. I guess we can cut the lad some slack, considering his short pants are kinda in a grey area. Here’s hoping the reshoots in Vancouver require more shirtless action … that would make all of this so much better ;)

Zac Efron & Vanessa Hudgens Get Smoochy In Oz

Yesterday we saw photos of Zac Efron surfin’ (well, pretendin’ to surf, actually) on Bondi Beach in Australia … and today we get to see a couple more photos of Efron in Oz but this time, he was photographed with his longtime girlfriend Vanessa Hudgens. The couple were spotted swappin’ copious amounts of spit at a bar near the beach … behold:

AWWW … young lurve, ain’t it sweet? I’ll admit it … I never thought these two would last as long as they have but they continue to endure as a couple. It would be so easy for both of these young stars to flit about from partner to partner but, instead, Zanessa stay happily together. They’re just so cute I could puke on my fabulously stylish shoes … couldn’t you?

Never a hair out of place
Zac Efron Goes Surfin’ In Australia

Late last week we saw photos of Zac Efron doing a bit of shopping on Robertson Blvd. in West Hollywood, CA just a day before he and girlfriend Vanessa Hudgens hopped a flight to Australia. Today we get to see pics of Zac on the shore of Bondi Beach down under trying his hand at surfing with the Aussies down there … behold:

Hundreds of children and teenagers descended on Sydney’s famous Bondi Beach earlier today to see their idol Zac Efron taking part in a charity surfing event. But crowds hoping to see the High School Musical star show off his surfing skills were left disappointed as he simply waded into the water for a photo opportunity. Having previously spoken of his love for surfing, there’s no doubt the 22-year-old can hold his own on a board. But perhaps the thought of hundreds of people watching in action left the actor feeling a bit of stage fright. The Californian actor and girlfriend Vanessa Hudgens were flown Down Under by Oakley sunglasses to raise awareness for their OneSight Foundation’s Learn-To-Surf programme. While Hugdens kept a low-profile in the nearby North Bondi Italian restaurant, Efron was driven on to the beach in a golf buggy. Dressed in a red Oakley wetsuit, Efron was overwhelmed by the crowds of screaming girls clambering for a photo or autograph with the heart-throb. While Efron was happy to wade into the sea, he declined to demonstrate his surfing skills. He was flanked by pro-surfers Layne Beachley and Tom Whitaker and a few hand-picked youngsters who were learning to surf. Instead of ‘hanging 10′, Efron was happy to play teacher as he helped some of the teenagers onto the surf boards.

I guess those who can — do, those who can’t — teach. Honestly, tho, I can’t blame the kid for not attempting to surf … the photos of him crashing out would been pure fodder for his detractors. Incidentally, on a totally unrelated note, Zac and Vanessa ended up missing Valentine’s Day altogether due to their trip to Oz. The couple departed out of LA on Feb. 13 and landed in Australia on Feb. 15 — so no VD for them this year. Ah well, better luck next year!! Gettin’ back to Zac at the beach … I’m just insanely jealous that his hair manages to look perfect, even when its wet! Zac must’ve sold his soul for always-perfect hair … IMHO, it looks like he deffo got the better end of that deal. Good hair, Zac!

Woot!!
Zac Efron Brings The Hotness To Robertson Blvd.

While Taylor Lautner was pumpin’ iron at the gym on his birthday yesterday, Zac Efron was proudly showing off his already pumped up physique as he shopped around Robertson Blvd. in West Hollywood, CA at the same time … behold:

Zacy poo is lookin’ good, y’all. The hair is perfect as always and that tight t-shirt is having a hard time concealing all them muscles. Hello, arms. I’m lookin’ forward to the coming warmer temperature here in SoCal … the hotter it gets, the less clothing folks tend to wear. I’m just sayin’ ;)

Courtside Lurvefest
Zac Efron & Vanessa Hudgens Cheer For The LA Lakers

Earlier today we saw photos of Taylor Lautner rooting for the LA Lakers at the Staples Center last night but he wasn’t the only celeb in the hiz sitting courtside — long-time lovers Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens were also at last night’s game to cheer on the Lakers … oh, and to show the world how much in lurve they still are:

You gotta give it up to Zanessa for staying together for so long. These two have been an item for years now and they still look as much in love as they have from day one. I have a pretty good appreciation for their enduring relationship because David and I are about to celebrate our 4 year anniversary together later on this month. I have nothing but respect for young lovers who value a loving commitment to one another and are able to successfully weather the difficulties that undoubtedly pop up along the way. It warms the coldest cockles of my heart to see Zanessa so in love after all these years. Here’s to many more years of happy togetherness for these two :)

Who let the dogs out?
Zac Efron & Friends Attend The World Snow Polo Championship

Heidi Klum, Seal and Mariah Carey aren’t the only celebs in Aspen, CO this weekend to get a jump start on the holiday celebratin’ … Zac Efron and his perfectly coiffed ‘do has breezed into town as well. But whereas those folks are in town for a little R&R, Zac was in town to attend The World Snow Polo Championship … oh, and to hang out with some of his furry friends:

The boy looks good with dogs, don’t he? I don’t believe any of these cute pooches are his dogs but they seem to all be very close nonetheless. It’s really sweet how crotch sniffing can really bring two souls together in friendship. Looks like you got some new friends for life, Zac :)

Charms the crowd on his way in and out
Zac Efron Visits ‘The Late Show With David Letterman’

Zac Efron, who is on the promo trail to support his new film Me and Orson Welles, paid a visit to The Late Show with David Letterman in NYC last night … and he brought along his perfect hair and his charming smile … behold:

Yes, the young scamp really knows how to get his fans all riled up … a small wave, a careful wink … and he’s got ‘em eating out of his hands. I’m kinda partial to the perfectly coiffed hair … which, to be honest, I find much more appealing than, say, Robert Pattinson‘s messy pile of hair on his head … but that is neither here nor there. After the jump, check out video of Zac‘s appearance on The Late Show last night …

Zac Efron grows up
‘Me And Orson Welles’ Premieres In London

Zac Efron and others (with much less attractive hair, which is whey they were not included in the photos) were on hand at Vue Cinema in London, England last night for the UK premiere of his new film Me and Orson Welles which tells the tale of a young man’s overnight success which stemmed from working with Welles in a small production of Julius Ceasar in 1937. Me and Orson Welles is only Zac‘s second film since graduating from the High School Musical films … and it seems as if the lad has gone from boy to man almost instantly:

U.S. actor Zac Efron takes another step away from the world of high school musicals that made him famous with a part in “Me and Orson Welles,” which also features British newcomer Christian McKay in the title role. In the movie, which hits British theatres on December 4, 22-year-old Efron plays a teenaged student who fortuitously stumbles into a minor role in the 1937 Mercury Theater production of “Julius Caesar” directed by the young Welles. During one tumultuous week, he makes his Broadway debut, finds romance with an ambitious older woman and dares to cross the overbearing Welles in a coming-of-age tale. The film is Efron’s second release since he graduated from the successful “High School Musical” franchise which made him a teen idol, after he appeared in “17 Again” which came out in April. “I’m definitely sad to see the end of it (High School Musical), but I think it’s all about progression and growing and trying new things,” Efron told Reuters on the red carpet of the new movie’s European premiere in London late on Wednesday. “This is definitely the next step in that journey for me,” he added against a noisy backdrop of dozens of screaming fans. “I can’t wait for everybody to see this movie and hear their thoughts. Hopefully they can learn something from the film, a little bit about Orson Welles, the history of Broadway. It’s pretty fascinating, it’s a fun film.” For McKay, being chosen by director Richard Linklater to play the larger-than-life Welles came as a surprise. “We did an old-fashioned screen test together and he (Linklater) never watched it. He was convinced,” he said of the casting process. “It would have been much easier to cast a famous star, and when I first met him and he started talking to me about Orson I gave him a list of famous Hollywood stars who could play him. It would’ve much easier for Richard to have chosen one of them. He would have gotten the funding easier … but he stuck with me and that tells you something about the man.” Linklater, known as a maker of cult films like “Dazed and Confused” and “A Scanner Darkly” but also with a Hollywood hit under his belt with “School of Rock,” said he chose Efron for his charisma on screen rather than his star power. When asked if he feared Efron might overshadow the rest of the cast and the movie itself, he replied: “Not really. I didn’t really think about it that way. Selfishly, as a director I wanted to find the best actor I could, someone who could go toe to toe with Orson Welles which is pretty hard to do. Welles is one of the bigger personalities in the last couple of centuries, so I needed someone with that kind of charisma, with that leading man … and Zac had that.”

While I admit that I am suspicious of Efron‘s ability to act his way out of a paper bag I’m willing to give him the benefit of the doubt. I’ve been so impressed with Daniel Radcliffe‘s acting abilities outside of the Harry Potter films that I’m willing to believe (well, hope) that there can be a young US actor with the same talent. After Me and Orson Welles opens in theaters Efron has another dramatic film on the way, Charlie St. Cloud. It would seem that Zac Efron is trying to move towards a more substantial film career … and I’m very curious to see if he can pull it off. After all, a guy with hair that great (and, let’s be honest, he’s got a better head of hair than even Robert Pattinson has) has got to be in movies. It’d be wonderful if Zac can prove to the world that he’s also got the acting ability to go with his movie star good looks.

Zac Efron Returns To The US To Meet A Throng Of Fans

Zac Efron, who has been bizzy in Vancouver, BC for the past couple of months filming a new film, has made his way back to SoCal presumably for good. Zac, rockin’ some seriously good hair, was met by a gaggle of fans who were dying to get his autograph on sexy shirtless pics of him … a gaggle made up of mid-aged men:

No, Zac hadn’t attracted a group of NAMBLA members, he merely attracted a group of professional autograph sellers. It was nice of Zac to sign the photos even tho they will most likely end up on eBay going for gads of money. Zacy poo has been away from LA for so long, I almost forgot what he looks like. I suspect we’ll be seeing a lot more of Efron around town now that he’s home, sweet, home.
