Fashion Rocks aired on CBS last night and today we get to watch her performance online:


Love it! Love it! I had heard that Ri Ri killed this performance and I’m happy to see that those reports are absolutely true. Don’t get me wrong, no one can really top Madonna but I think that Rihanna did an amazing homage performance of the song. What do y’all think?

For Rihanna’s performance on the show, she decided to pay homage to the queen herself — she performed her own version of Madonna’s Vogue:


Loves it! This is such a brills idea. Both Rihanna and Madonna are single-name stars, nothing seems more appropriate than Ri Ri performing a Madge song. I’m sure it was an amazing performance, I’m looking forward to seeing it when Fashion Rocks airs this Tuesday night. Incidentally, there is a report going around that Katy Perry is planning to perform Like A Virgin at the 2008 MTV VMAs on Sunday night … personally and totally biasedly, my money is on Rihanna for the hotter Maddy tribute :)
