Calling all New Yorkers … David and Victoria Beckham are scheduled to be on hand at Macy’s Department Store right here in Manhattan tomorrow afternoon to launch, in person, their new fragrance Signature. Signage has been posted at the store that the couple will appear at tomorrow afternoon at 4PM to meet-and-greet the fans:

The way I understand it, only 300 people will be allowed to get autographs from Les Beckhams and I believe you’ll have to pay at least $62 per bottle for Signature Women and/or $60 for Signature Men in order to be considered as one of the folks allowed to meet them:

While I would LOVE to get up close and personal with Mr. and Mrs. Beckham, I’m not really a fan of lotteries like this … but if any of y’all go and are lucky enough to get near them, make sure you send in your pics to share/brag and tell them I sent ya ;) Good luck!!

Here are a couple pics of a very normal-looking David and Victoria Beckham lounging by the pool at their Beverly Hills, CA home with some family members yesterday afternoon. The scene looks nice and relaxed, Becks (of course) looks hawt, Vicki B. looks totally unmade and I think she’s walking around with a Styrofoam plate of potato salad. This has to be the most down-to-earth image of the family I think we’ve seen in ages:

I’m not entirely sure which Beckham boy is on VB‘s lap but I’m gonna guess Romeo since he tends to love sitting on his mother’s lap. I love these pics … they’re so … normal. No pretense, no outrageous fashion … just a good ol’ fashioned afternoon by the pool. Love it.

Lego Building Blocks is celebrating the 30th anniversary of their minifigures this year and in celebration, Lego has come up with a few cute little celebrity incarnations of their famous little Lego people. Normally yellow, these celebrity Lego people are flesh-toned and, in my estimation, are pretty damn good representations of the celebrities they portray … here are the Lego versions of Vicki B. & David Beckham, Madonna, Amy Winehouse, Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt and the twins Vivienne Marcheline & Knox Léon Jolie-Pitt:

Lego, the Danish plastic toy firm is celebrating the 30th anniversary of the introduction of the minifigure. It has launched a website with videos and photos and is encouraging enthusiasts to enter a movie making contest to show their own interpretation of the minifigures’ adventures. The minifigure started off in 1978 as a largely featureless yellow figure but has since evolved to include realistic characteristics including skin colour and facial hair. The plastics toy firm has also produced ‘famous’ minifigure versions of characters from the big screen such as Spiderman, Darth Vader and Indiana Jones. Last month Lego announced that its half year profits have more than doubled, partly due to the success of its classic and movie/celebrity contracts.

I’m a BIG Legos fan from way back in the day. Nothing would give me more pleasure than building a model out of Legos and then smashing that model onto the tiled floor of our basement so that it would break into hundreds of pieces. Unfortch, I would smash the models so hard that some of the Lego blocks would break and my mom stopped buying them for me … but it was fun while it lasted. I think it’s awesome that Legos is having this much fun with the 30th anniversary of their minifigures. I know there are some Lego fans out there who prolly appreciate this as well, yes? So cute! My fave is the Becks one ;)

Sean Preston and Jayden James weren’t the only celebrity kids celebrating their birthdays this weekend … here are pics from Heidi Klum‘s elaborate superhero-themed costume party that she hosted for her eldest son Henry (who she had with hubby Seal) in Beverly Hills, CA yesterday afternoon:

Heidi managed to nab celebrity guests like Debra Messing, with her son Roman, and Vicki B., with her son Cruz. Heidi is well-known for her ridiculously lavish Halloween costume parties and it looks like she is happily transplanting that love to her children as well. No word on what costume VB was attempting to pull off with her new hairdo but it looks a little Something About Mary to me … which is wholly inappropriate for a kid’s birthday party, yes? In any event, Birthday Lurve goes out to little Henry for his 3rd birthday :)

Pink reader James emailed me last night that he ran into VB as she made her grand arrival at B. Bar last night with her “gaggle of gays” tho I’m not sure if that included Marc Jacobs or not. In any event, it’s clear that VB and MJ have been spending quite a lot of time together. Don’t they make a supercute couple, these two? I think it’d be totally fetch if they dumped their respective husbands and ran away together … then David Beckham would be free and single. I’m just thinking out loud here … pay me no mind. I think I’ve decided that I like VB‘s haircut. I’m not really all about men in skirts. You?

You will note that VB is sportin’ a new hair’do which *looks* like an actual cut but could be a really good wig … check it out:

Victoria Beckham is the talk of New York Fashion Week after unveiling a surprise new cut at the Marc Jacobs catwalk show yesterday. Posh has abandoned her famous Pob in favour of a daring pixie crop, reminiscent of Hollywood star Halle Berry’s 2002 Bond Girl look. She managed to upstage even Jennifer Lopez, who sat beside her in front row seats at the show. It was an eventful day for the mother of three – earlier she launched her first fashion collection based entirely upon her own personal style to a handful of fashion’s elite editors. She revealed even husband David had not seen all the finished pieces, although he regularly texted throughout the showcase for progress reports. The novice fashion designer described her collection of ten dresses as “classy”.

Yeah, I’ve inspected the hi-res photos closely and it really does look like she cut off all of her hair. To be honest, I don’t hate this new ‘do … I think that others pull off the pixie look better but this look kinda works for her. We’ll see how it looks in future pics if, in fact, this is a real haircut. Incidentally, J. Lo looked like her usual La Diva Latina self … but paled next to VB stealing the spotlight. Don’t you hate it when your BFFs hog all the limelight?

After trying her luck in the designer jeans game (to questionable success), Victoria Beckham is about to embark on a new career in fashion that has her designing dresses. Women’s Wear Daily was able to preview Vicki B‘s new dress collection, which will be fully (altho, privately) unveiled at New York Fashion Week this week and here is our first look at two of her signature pieces:

Victoria Beckham’s first dress collection stays true to her style. The line, previewed exclusively to WWD, clearly follows the former Spice Girl’s fashion mantra. The 10 looks are tailored to the body, made with fabrics such as basket-weave cotton, fine gazar and georgette silks and have touches of Indian embroidery and hand-sewn beading. “The collection was inspired by the femininity and sophistication of the midcentury silhouette,” Beckham explained. “I’ve always been drawn to intricate, seam-detailed designs, as their structure enhances the flattering shape of a woman’s silhouette.” … “I like to focus on the posture of a woman and how she holds herself, which led me to incorporate features such as modern corsetry and grosgrain details,” she said. “All corsetry is made for comfort and support with the finest materials, and, in addition, there are finer grosgrain belts that are incorporated into the line of the softer constructed dresses to give this effect in a more subtle way, thus enabling women of all sizes to wear my dresses to create a magnificent silhouette.” After launching her dVb label with jeans and sunglasses, the dress collection is the third fashion extension for Beckham … The label will say both Victoria Beckham and dVb, and the collection is priced between $600 and $1,400 at wholesale. The collection will be unveiled during private appointments next week. Company executives declined to give sales projections for the line, which targets distribution to upscale department and specialty stores. “Dresses are very signature for me, as I have always dressed in a very feminine and ladylike manner,” Beckham said. “This collection may be new, but it’s been a lifetime in the making for me.”

I mean, the dresses look like something that VB would wear so, I guess she’s on the right track. I dunno, with young whipper-snappers like Lauren Conrad and even Heidi Montag getting themselves into the design game I think VB needs to watch her back. Granted, these dresses are more high end and are more sophisticated … but I don’t understand how a woman who wants to spent a nice chunk of change on a dress would choose to do so for a Vicki B. design rather than, say, a Diane von Furstenberg design. Anyone?

Romeo Beckham celebrated his 6th birthday with his family and friends yesterday at the Universal Citywalk here in SoCal and he managed to do so incognito. Romeo thought it would be totally fetch to show up at his birthday party dressed as Batman … which is infinitely cooler than dressing up like the Red Power Ranger like his little brother Cruz Beckham did:

VB, it must be said, looked her usual chic self in her stylish orange dress … the eldest Beckham child, Brooklyn, opted out of dressing up in costume (guess he’s too old for such frivolities) and daddy David Beckham opted out of attending the birthday celebration altogether. Vicki B was on hand at Harvey Nichols in Manchester, UK yesterday to make an in-store appearance for the launch of her newest fragrance called Signature. VB was an angelic vision in white as she stepped out in front of the cameras for yesterday’s in-store event …

… but upon closer inspection, it was discovered that VB (presumably in her haste to make sure that her outfit, make-up and hair were perfectly styled) seems to have overlooked one teeny little detail in her personal cleaning process.
