Real Housewives of NYC star Bethenny Frankel may have just given birth about 3 weeks ago but she’s already back in bathing suit shape ready to take on the coming Summer months. US Weekly magazine is featuring new photos of Bethenny showing off her post-baby bod in the new issue of their mag, on newsstands this week … here’s a first look:

What baby weight? Just three weeks after giving birth to daughter Bryn, Real Housewives of New York’s Bethenny Frankel is back to a size-4 swimsuit! In the new issue of Us Weekly, Frankel, 39, reveals how she’s already lost 29 of the 35 pounds she gained while pregnant with Bryn, born May 8. “I don’t believe in diets,” says the chef and author of Naturally Thin, who wed Bryn’s dad Jason Hoppy March 28. Frankel stayed active while carrying Bryn, alternating yoga with 45-minute walks three times a week, and practiced portion control with a vegetarian diet. Still healing since Bryn’s C-section birth, the 122-pound star has decreased her walks to 30 minutes and continues to eat low-fat fare. A sample day’s menu: a muffin and fruit for breakfast, a veggie sandwich and soup at lunch and BBQ chicken and a half a sweet potato for dinner. Frankel admits to Us, “I’m still wearing maternity clothes, because they’re comfortable.” Still, she says, “I”m excited to get into my Louboutins again. No more swollen feet!”

Dang, she looks good, don’t she? I am so happy for Bethenny … she truly is on top of the world. With a new hubby, a beautiful new baby and a bright successful future ahead, she finally has all of the things she’s been looking for for so long. It’s really cool to see how far she’s come in just the past year. She’s always been my fave NYC housewife and I think it’s about time she’s come into her own. You’re lookin’ good, girl … own it!!

US Weekly magazine hosted its annual Hot in Hollywood event at Drai’s Hollywood in Hollywood, CA on top of the W Hotel on Hollywood Blvd. last night and managed to bring out a who’s who of elite celebs. The Buffyverse was represented quite significantly (by Alyson Hannigan, David Boreanaz and Julie Benz) but the biggest celeb to attend last night’s fête was Jennifer Lopez, who’s new film The Back-Up Plan opens in theaters today. Here are a few photos from the red carpet arrivals last nights and some quotes from a few of the attendees talking about past fashion faux pas:

Tinseltown’s fashion elite stepped into the spotlight Thursday night at Us Weekly’s Hot Hollywood party to celebrate the style issue’s release. The red carpet was brimming with stars and sass, but even the most fashionable celebs admitted to making regrettable choices that magazines like Us have captured. “I’ve definitely had some outfits like, ‘What was I thinking?’” Nicole Scherzinger cringed while sharing the carpet with “Dancing With the Stars” dancers Mark Ballas and Damian Whitewood. “It sucks when they compare you [with someone in the same outfit] and you wore it not as well. That’s kind of sad times for me.” “Oh my god, I’ve had some pretty embarrassing moments,” said “Twilight” star Nikki Reed, who was named a “Colorful Coquette” by the magazine. “There was a time I wore a dress, and I didn’t realize it was see-through until it was nighttime and there were big camera flashes. That was pretty brutal.” Some stars blamed circumstances beyond their control for the times they’ve been caught by the fashion police and crowned with a “worst dressed” title. “I don’t live in Hollywood, so I do a lot of changing in my car,” explained new PETA campaigner Stephanie Pratt, whose beachside residence has forced her to convert her car to a mobile closet. “I find myself in a lot of inside-out clothes. That’s probably the worst it gets. When I’m wearing something, like, from Zara, with long tags hanging down, that’s bad.” Ciara recalled one disaster that had nothing to do with her clothing. “I left the house one time and my outfit was really, really cute,” she said. “I didn’t do my own makeup. I was trying a new makeup artist that night, and my face looked like a pumpkin. I was really red. Some photos look better than others because the light kind of saved my life.”

Fascinating, no? Yeah … not really, I was really merely drawn by the fun red carpet photos. I am totally blown away by how hot Kelly Osbourne looked last night. Altho she and boyfriend Luke Worrall decided to wear matching bangs, I think they looked fantastic! Paris Hilton, the poor dear, was rockin’ her trademark wonky eye like nobody’s business … bless her heart. All in all, I suspect this year’s Hot in Hollywood party was marginally fun for the attendees but this year’s event didn’t seem to have the same heat that events in previous years had.

Jason Wahler, who — at the young age of 23 — was just recently arrested TWICE in the span of about a week bringing his arrest grand total to 7 (6 domestic, 1 international), gave an interview with US Weekly to talk about how “ashamed” and “sorry” he is for all of his arrests. Here is what he had to say:

Former Hills star Jason Wahler says he felt incredible “shame” when he made headlines again last weekend for his sixth alcohol-related arrest in recent years. A week prior, online video footage also surfaced of Wahler, 23, being cuffed by Mexican police in Cabo San Lucas March 11 after he allegedly got into a club brawl. “I am very, very ashamed of everything,” he tells UsMagazine.com. “I am very sorry for everything that’s happened.” So what went wrong for Wahler, who claimed in 2007 that he had cleaned up his act and even did a stint with inpatient rehab? About six months ago, he tells Us he moved back to Orange County from L.A. and enrolled in the University of Phoenix in Fountain Valley, Calif., hoping to earn a business degree. He even began going to AA up to five times a week. “I had a sponsor and stuff,” says Wahler. “You know, the whole thing.” While traveling to L.A. “doing the whole movie stuff,” he says he “got distracted” and “started falling out of the program … I lost contact with my sponsor.” He slowly began drinking again. “It was one drink or a few,” he says. “It wasn’t a binge or anything.” On March 19, he was taken into custody at 10:54 p.m. for DUI while driving a 2008 Chevy Tahoe. He likely will face jail time. He declined to talk about the incident, but he tells Us, “I think everything happens for a reason. God did that to me, so maybe I would be at [rock] bottom and want to climb my way to the top.” With the help of his new girlfriend and friends and family, he returned to AA this past Wednesday. “It’s all about getting back on track,” Wahler tells Us. “My girlfriend, my parents, my brothers, my sisters and a handful of my best friends are willing to do everything to keep me out of trouble. “I never want to drink again,” he adds. He says he’ll also avoid L.A. “unless it’s crucial for work. If I do go, I will go with my father or somebody who is a sober support. But I definitely won’t be going out! “If I don’t stay sober,” he tells Us, “I am not going to have a life.”

To his credit, I will say that it sounds like he’s got the right attitude … now. But I’m concerned that his blaming God for “doing that to him” is proof that he is not taking responsibility for his actions. I’m not sure what “movie stuff” keeps bringing him to LA but mebbe he needs to find a different line of work. It’s hard not to be suspicious of this latest apology but … for his sake, I hope he really means it this time. To be arrested 7 times in only 23 years is pretty insane. Best of luck drying out, Jason. I truly hope you are successful.

Celebs of varying degrees of fame and hotness were on hand at Voyeur in West Hollywood, CA last night to attend US Weekly‘s Hot Hollywood 2009 event in order to see and be seen. Here are a few pics from the red carpet of who made the guest list at last night’s event:

For the most part, it was an event that managed to attract the folks who are squarely on the pop culture radar right now … Julie Benz (Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Dexter) and Eliza Dusku (BtVS, Angel, Dollhouse) represented the Buffyverse contingent while Mark Salling from Glee and Adam Lambert from American Idol repped the Man of the Hour contingent. Mya, who looks poised to become the next Dancing with the Stars champ, made sure to get her party on last night as did Ms. La Toya Jackson (who, I understand, was quite popular with party-goers last night). All in all it sounds like everyone had a great time last night … it appears that all the right “it” people of the moment came out to play … sounds pretty fun to me.

Back in 1984, Michael Jackson and his brothers filmed a commercial for Pepsi Cola in order to promote their Victory Tour and very famously suffered an accident on the set that caused his hair to catch fire, scarring him for life. MJ would go on to be a Pepsi spokesmodel for many years after the accident but that one incident became part of MJ history for all time. There has been footage of the accident for many, many years but US Weekly managed to scrounge up new footage of the accident that gives the most clear view of what happened to MJ on the set of that commercial shoot. The magazine makes the assertion that it was because of this fire accident that MJ got addicted to pain medication:

Usmagazine.com has exclusive, never-before-seen footage of Michael Jackson’s Pepsi commercial accident, filmed in L.A.’s Shrine Auditorium on Jan. 27, 1984. The clip shows one take where the pyrotechnics exploded as planned — after Jackson descended the stairs and began performing with his brothers. On the sixth take, though, things went horribly wrong: The fireworks erupted too early, igniting Jackson’s head in flames. Jackson is at first unaware he’s on fire, and continues dancing. He was never the same after the accident, reports the new issue of Us Weekly, on stands today. To relieve the second and third-degree burns on his scalp and body (and later to help him tolerate multiple surgeries on the scorched spot on his head), Jackson was prescribed several medications — which kicked off his addiction to painkillers and obsession with plastic surgery, multiple sources tell Us.

Wow … this new footage is pretty incredible. I’ve seen the footage previously made available but this is the most clear view of what happened on that fateful day. You can tell that MJ didn’t even know his hair was on fire until men jumped on stage to douse his head with fire extinguishers. Yesterday we learned that US Weekly magazine published, in their new issue, a few outtake photos of Robert Pattinson‘s photoshoot with Rolling Stone magazine. US Weekly dubbed the photos, “Robert Pattinson’s Sexiest Photos Ever”. We got to see a couple of the photos yesterday and today we get to see 3 more:

I opted out of showing any further photos of R. Pattz in that studded jean vest … I think the leather jacket is a much better look for him. Also, you can never have enough wet R. Pattz, right? Last April we saw photos of Twilight star Robert Pattinson that were featured in an issue of Dossier magazine. Those photos were outtakes form a photoshoot Rob did for Rolling Stone magazine. It turns out that Dossier isn’t the only mag with outtake photos from that shoot. US Weekly has at least a couple more photos from that photoshoot, which the mag describes as “Robert Pattinson’s Sexiest Photos Ever” … here is one of them:

Earlier this month we learned that Jennifer Love Hewitt and her fiancée Ross McCall called off their engagement and broke up over the Xmas holidays and never really got an explanation as to why. This week’s issue of US Weekly magazine claims to have those explanations:

Altho the coverstory article has yet to be posted online, the headline on the new issue reads, “The dress was bought, a date was set. How jealousy, fights and her insecurities exploded at the last minute”. HMM. The mag clearly seems to be pointing the finger of blame straight at J. Love. Something tells me that this article was not written with her consent. I, personally, have no information as to what caused the break-up between J. Love and Ross but I’d venture a guess that her on-going problems with her crazed stalker might’ve had something to do with what went down. In the end, we will never really know for sure what happened unless either of the involved parties go on the record to discuss the matter. I just hope that they are both doing well … J. Love is a sweetheart and I wish her only happiness. I know nothing about Ross but he always seemed like a great guy to me … here’s hoping that things work out for the best for the both of them.

As you may recall, Fergie Ferg and Josh Duhamel said their I Dos and got hitched last Saturday in a semi-private and lavish ceremony in Malibu, CA in front of a select group of friends and family. A couple of days after, we saw photos of the pair making their way thru LAX Airport bound for their honeymoon. Today, US Weekly shows off the couple’s wedding photos on the cover and in the pages of their new issue which is on newsstands now … here is the mag’s coverphoto:

Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag have gone on the record with Ryan Seacrest on his KIIS FM radio program to refute claims that they are not legally wed. Responding to criticism that no record exists of the couple’s legal nuptials, Pratt boasted that the couple chose to keep their marriage license confidential … cuz, you know, this couple really values their privacy. Additionally, MTV released a statement to US Weekly commenting on their part in the alleged wedding scam that has folks questioning the reality of their reality series The Hills:

As skepticism mounts regarding the validity of Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt’s courtroom wedding as seen in the upcoming finale of MTV’s ‘The Hills,’ the couple exclusively revealed to Ryan Seacrest Wednesday that the ceremony was indeed official and legal. Spencer Pratt boasted, “we checked the confidentiality box, so good luck people,” in response to many media outlets reporting that there is no record of any marriage license for the couple in L.A. County.

And this is what MTV has to say: “MTV crews captured Heidi and Spencer at the Beverly Hills Courthouse with the Deputy Commissioner who handles all civil unions. We filmed after hours at the request of the courthouse so our cameras would not inconvenience other couples getting married that day.”

So MTV is saying that they bore witness to a legal civil union officiated by the “Deputy Commissioner who handles all civil unions”? Then why is it that there is no record that any such official was on hand to preside over this union? I makes NO SENSE that either Speidi or MTV would be so secretive about the legalities of this marriage if everything was on the up and up. Are we really supposed to believe that Speidi chose to keep their nuptials confidential after announcing the news on the cover of a national magazine and then reenacting the whole ceremony on national television? I mean, seriously?
