Gets pissed when others don't agree
Tori Spelling Thinks She Is A Somebody

Tori Spelling got her dander up and was photographed throwing a tizzy diva tantrum when she was stopped at the velvet rope by a very eager security guard working the Christian Siriano Fall ’09 Fashion Show at NY Fashion Week this past Thursday night. Upon Tori‘s arrival, the security guard in question stopped Ms. Spelling and told her that she would not be allowed entry to the show … which, of course, very openly angered the poor girl, resulting in her pitching a fit. Here are a few photos of the hilarious incident:

Getting behind the velvet rope at New York Fashion Week is no easy task, as Tori Spelling discovered [Thursday] night. The actress, who recently signed on to reprise her role as Donna Martin in the new incarnation of 90210, flew into a rage after a security guard asked to see her invite to the Christian Siriano catwalk show. She had arrived to see the latest collection by the designer, who won the fourth season of American reality show Project Runway, and appeared to be incensed with the lack of VIP treatment. Apparently fearing the onset of a full-blown diva tantrum, a team of Fashion Week organisers swept in to inform the guard she was allowed to enter the show. She quickly took up her front row seat where she appeared to calm down. Perhaps hunger played a factor in her mini meltdown – the 35-year-old certainly looked painfully thin in her deep-teal Siriano cocktail dress. Tori has slimmed remarkably since the arrival of her second child, one-year-old Stella.

LOL! Poor Tori … how embarrassing for her. I suppose it’s easy to understand her displeasure at being treated so poorly … after all, she designed the jewelry that the models in Christian‘s show wore on the runway — so, yeah, she was kinda supposed to be there. That said, it’s really not all too difficult to see why the security guard had no idea who Tori Spelling was/is … I bet a lot of people would have a hard time knowing who she is these days. I bet she can’t *wait* for her eps on 90210 to hit the airwaves.

Fashion Week gets a 'heart' on
Fashionable Celebs Know ‘The Heart Truth’

Each year, for NY Fashion Week, the National Heart, Lung and Blood Institute hosts their annual Heart Truth Red Dress Collection Fashion Show which features designs from some of the hottest designers (both established and up-and-coming) being modeled on the runway by some of the most fashionable celebs on the scene … or just so happen to be available ;) Here are a few pics of some of the celebs who rocked their red dresses on the runway at this morning’s fashion show and some deets on this year’s event itself:

The annual Heart Truth Red Dress Collection, sponsored by the National Heart, Lung and Blood Institute is arguably the feel-good moment of Fashion Week as a star-studded lineup of celebs and athletes strut their stuff on the runway wearing, natch, red dresses from top designers to promote heart health awareness among women. This morning’s joyous romp at the tent was no exception. A breathless Tim Gunn provided a welcome message, calling the Red Dress, “a sexy, passionate and powerful symbol,” noting that “being healthy never goes out of style.” And then wham . . . out came the 20 high-profile women who volunteered to take the walk down the runway for the cause. In the not-a-bit-shy department: Lynda Carter of “Wonder Woman” fame looked swell in a Carolina Herrera slither with one-shoulder bow, laughed and mugged her way down the runway. Vivica A. Fox worked it too wearing a glitzy sequined number from Jenny Packham. The crowd went nuts for charmer Cicely Tyson, though her dress by Michael B. — with sleeves on steroids –was an “Oy Vey” moment. Long Island’s own Susan Lucci was all-out glam in a goddess chiffon and sequin number by Gustavo Cadile. Newly slim Valerie Bertinelli won cheers in her Christian Siriano strapless job; Kristi Yamaguchi in fave Vera Wang and “Dancing With The Stars,” co-host Samantha Harris in jersey David Meister both got high scores for their animated runway glide. Hilary Duff was demure in Donna Karan’s languid body conscious gown. More restrained but still fab: an elegant Jennie Garth in Badgley Mischka, body beautiful Olympic gold medalist Nastia Liukin, in sexy, short Max Azria and finale model Katie Couric, wearing a rhinestone strapped Carmen Marc Valvo, her signature wide smile and an aura that read, “What am I doing here? Get me Sarah or Sully.” Interested in frocks worn by one of these gals? A selection of these will be available at auction beginning today through Feb. 27 at clothesoffourback.org with proceeds benefiting the Foundation For National Institutes of Health. Want to see some of them in real life? Some will be on display at Rockefeller Center’s Top Of The Rock Observation Deck from Feb. 14-21.

Hello … where is the love for Amanda Bynes and Tori Spelling, for christsakes?! Tori looks AMAZING in her cute little number … she deffo looks much hotter and sexier than her 90210 cohort Jennie Garth (sorry Jennie). Amanda‘s cute little red dress is also a stunner. It’s really great that these fashionistas are able to pair up with great designers (like Christian Siriano) for a fun event like this … that it’s all for charity only makes the event even more special. Click HERE to visit the auction website and place YOUR bids for your fave red dress. Which one of the bunch do YOU like best?

Tries to make the 'pee-pee' dance happen
Tori Spelling Makes Her ‘Potty Dance’ Debut

Tori Spelling, who will be making her long-awaited return to the world of 90210 this April, was on hand at the Helen Mills Theater in NYC today to play celebrity host at the Pull-Ups brand Potty Dance Party … which is an event that pairs parents and their toddlers at a dance event that is meant to help children learn potty training by congratulating them with their own Potty Dance Party … or something to that effect. Here are a few photos of Tori with her children Liam and Stella at today’s event along with information about this odd affair:

This year, nearly six million parents will begin potty training their toddlers, an exciting and sometimes intimidating milestone for many — and celebrity mom of two Tori Spelling, star of the reality series “Tori & Dean Home Sweet Hollywood” is no exception. To celebrate her almost 2-year-old son Liam’s potty training debut, and help families across the country say farewell to diapers, Tori has teamed up with Pull-Ups training pants to groove to the Potty Dance — the new toddler dance craze introduced by the Pull-Ups brand — to help motivate her son to success. “Liam is growing up so fast, including his growing interest in the potty,” said Spelling. “While as a mom it’s bittersweet to watch my little boy grow up, we want to applaud this big moment with an activity he’s already crazy for — dancing. I’ve partnered with the Pull-Ups brand to kick-off Liam’s potty training with a celebration I know he will love, and an activity I know will keep me positive, the Potty Dance.” Spelling [introduced] the Potty Dance to eager-to-boogie parents and toddlers at the Pull-Ups brand Potty Dance Party, a parent-tot dance bash held today from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Helen Mills Theater in New York City. Ready-to-celebrate families, and their ready-to-potty train tots, [were] invited to be among the first to learn the catchy Potty Dance moves and help congratulate their tots on becoming a Big Kid. Along with learning the dance, parents can discover other potty training resources, have a personal consultation with a Pull-Ups brand parenting expert and participate in fun activities — all designed to grow excitement around potty training for toddlers. “We know children need to be recognized for their success during potty training, which is the reason we created the Pull-Ups brand Potty Dance,” said Bob Thibault, President, Kimberly-Clark North American Personal Care. “We are thrilled to partner with Tori, a celebrity mom who remains hands-on as she openly encounters the daily adventures and realities of motherhood, to encourage parents to embrace potty training with their children.” The Pull-Ups brand recognizes parents can often be overwhelmed or unmotivated about potty training — even celebrity moms. The Potty Dance is designed to encourage and support tots during any stage of the potty training process by celebrating their achievements towards becoming a Big Kid. The step-by-step moves are easy for kids (and parents) to learn, so families can break into the dance no matter what potty training step they are on or milestone they have reached.

You know, a paying gig is a paying gig. Until Tori actually appears on TV again as Donna Martin, I suspect that the big endorsement deals will be few and far between … in these trying economic times, can we really fault her participating in an event like this? She does have the cute kids to work with … it’s not a totally bad idea. I may not have a toddler of my own and I may be fully potty trained (I swear) but if I were given the opportunity to watch Tori Spelling do the crossed legs, hopping back and forth I Gotta Pee dance I’d SO be there. Be honest … wouldn’t YOU be there, too? :)

First Look: Tori Spelling, ‘Mommywood’

After releasing her fairly successful first goss-filled memoir sTori Telling last year (a book that managed to piss off half of Hollywood), Tori Spelling is gettin’ ready to release a follow-up goss-filled memoir this Spring (which is prolly intent on pissing off the other half of Hollywood). Here is our first look at the cover artwork for Tori‘s new book Mommywood which is due out this April:

To be honest, I wouldn’t be surprised if Tori‘s last tome sTori Telling had something to do with pissing off Shannen Doherty which might’ve had something to do with Tori getting axed from the early eps of 90210 … but we’re in a new year, with a new book (that no one has read yet) and that’s all water under the bridge … for now. This new book is, apparently, more focused on Tori‘s life as a mother … which may not be as interesting as her first book … but my guess is that she’ll throw in some juicy tidbits this time around — you know, for selling points.

After the jump, check out the cover art for Candy Spelling‘s (Tori‘s estranged mother) book Tales from Candyland

Film new scenes for '90210'
Jennie Garth & Tori Spelling Do Rodeo Drive

Reunited Beverly Hills, 90210 co-stars Jennie Garth (who plays Kelly Taylor) and Tori Spelling (who plays Donna Martin) weathered the brisk rain here in SoCal yesterday afternoon as the ladies filmed scenes for Tori‘s long-awaited return to the spin-off series 90210 on the wet streets of Beverly Hills, CA. As you may recall, earlier this week we saw the first photos of Tori Spelling filming scenes for 90210 with Jennie and newcomer Jessica Stroup (who plays Erin Silver, little sister to both Kelly Taylor and Donna‘s husband David Silver) … and today we get to see new pics of the ladies in action:

It is really great to see Tori back in the mix with Jennie on the show. We’re gonna have to wait until April to see Tori back on the show but I’m glad that we’re getting these sneak peeks of her back in action. I am really curious to know if Tori and Shannen Doherty (who plays Brenda Walsh) will have any scenes together … as y’all should be aware, there is no love lost between these estranged co-stars. I’m really hoping that some semblance of bitchy drama is going to be interjected into the show in some capacity. Clearly, Tori is fine with injections … so that should be no problem. I gotta say, I am enjoying 90210 … it may not have the same pop cultural impact that the original series had but I think it builds pretty successfully on that impact. I’m a fan and I’m excited to see what other little old skool goodies they are planning for future eps.

Donna Martin returns to TV
Tori Spelling Films First Scenes For ’90210’

Woot! The day that longtime Beverly Hills, 90210 fans never thought would arrive has finally come to pass … Tori Spelling reprised her role as Donna Martin yesterday on the set of the spin-off show 90210 as she filmed her first scenes with former co-star Jennie Garth (as Kelly Taylor) and newcomer Jessica Stroup (as Erin Silver). Here are the first pics of Donna, Kelly and Silver in 90210-land:

The reunion of Tori Spelling’s Donna and Jennie Garth’s Kelly on the CW’s 90210 is an attention-grabber for fans of the original drama. Put the actresses in a Rolls-Royce convertible to film a scene in the heart of Beverly Hills and the paparazzi are thrilled as well. A dozen or more photographers gathered Monday to grab shots of the pair, who starred in the 1990s Fox hit Beverly Hills 90210. Spelling is joining the CW sequel, which features Garth, for a multi-episode arc that begins airing April 14. It was the first time the CW show lived up to the 90210 zip code by filming in Beverly Hills. Spelling is used to being a paparazzi magnet. She shrugged off the attention and called it “just another day out.”

Yay! I suppose it was a bit too much to hope that Tori, Jennie and Shannen Doherty would be reunited for Tori‘s first scene on the show but … I’ll take what I can get. I am SO relieved that the dispute between Tori Spelling the 90210 producers has been resolved so that she can return to the show and bring Donna Martin back to life. I’ve always contended that the dispute came down to money and I personally believe that one side or the other caved (my guess is that Tori decided to take the money they were willing to pay her). In the end, tho, Donna Martin is back … and full of botox! I’m sure Tori‘s puffy face has everything to do with the role she’s playing as a Beverly Hills housewife. Uh uh. Remember, former BH, 90210 star Jason Priestly is directing this episode featuring Tori Spelling‘s debut on the show … and it will air on The CW on April 14. Mark your calendars, it’s gonna be a big night for pop culture fans.

So ready for her close-up
Tori Spelling Is Ready To Join The Cast Of ’90210’

A couple of weeks ago we learned that Tori Spelling was in final negotiations to reprise her star-making role of Donna Martin on the Beverly Hills, 90210 spin-off series 90210 … and today we get to see just how much hard work Tori achieved so that she could return to the world of 90210 in the best shape possible:

Seven months after giving birth to her second child, Tori Spelling has regained her figure – and just in time too. The Hollywood actress, who gave birth to daughter Stella via C-section in June, has signed on for a reoccurring role in new 90210 as Donna Martin, the same character she played on her father Aaron Spelling’s original TV show. She is set to reunite with her former co-stars Shannen Doherty and Jennie Garth, who also signed on to the show last year. Before landing the contract, Tori, 35, said: “My dad always wanted to do a new version of 90210, so I’m sure he will be beaming from above! And I’d love to somehow be a part of it. That as well would make my dad proud.” Tori, who also has a 2-year-old son Liam with her husband Dean McDermott, worked hard to regain her physique ahead of the part. She told InTouch magazine: “When I got my body back after Liam, I was happy. But this time, I was like ‘I kick ass!’ I’m a working mum of two, so to know I did it all my myself was huge.” The 35-year-old gained 3.5st during her pregnancy which she shed steadily after the birth with the help of a healthy diet and exercise. “Breakfast was yogurt, fruit and nuts. Lunch was homemade soup with a sweet potato or soy milk base. We’d snack on celery and peanut butter, and then I’d make lean protein with vegetables for dinner. I would go for long walks or biking with the kids. We’d do physical activities every day. I’m proud! I could’ve gotten here sooner if I was fanatical and worked out extensively every day, but I’m glad I didn’t. I’m so happy I did it with my family and in a healthy way.”

Wow! Tori looks great! It’s clear that she’s been working really hard behind the scenes in order to get her body in shape to rival the skinnys who inhabit the world of 90210. I’ve held from the beginning that Tori Spelling deserves to be on the show with her BH, 90210 cohorts so Donna Martin‘s introduction on the show is way overdue. I can’t wait to see Donna make her grand entrance on the show. At this point, we aren’t sure when Donna Martin will be returning to 90210 but I hope it’s soon … we’ve waited too long already. Any guesses on what sort of drama Donna may bring along with her? Do y’all think she’ll still be married to David Silver? Do tell!!

Make way for Donna Martin!
Tori Spelling In Final Negotiations To Return To ’90210’

Momlogic is reporting that Tori Spelling is in “final negotiations” to join her Beverly Hills, 90210 cohorts Jennie Garth and Shannen Doherty on The CW hit spin-off 90210 and reprise her career-making role as Donna Martin! As you may recall, Tori was originally supposed to join the cast of the show when it debuted last Fall but reports of in-fighting and outrageous wage demands suggested that a deal was not possible between studio and actress (oh yeah, and there was that little matter of that baby that she gave birth to upsetting filming schedules). Something tells me that Spelling is no longer willing to play hardball and has succumbed to the studios parameters for her return:

EXCLUSIVE! Momlogic has learned the mother of two Tori Spelling is in final negotiations to return to West Beverly High! According to a well-placed source at the CW, the return of Tori Spelling as Donna Martin the new “90210″s inception is almost a reality. We’re told the actress is in “final negotiations” to return to the show alongside Jennie Garth and Shannon Doherty.

TV Guide adds that it’s pretty much a done deal and that Jason Priestly will direct her return to 90210land:

Tori Spelling is about to sign a deal to reunite with Jennie Garth and Jason Priestley to shoot Donna Martin’s return to 90210, reports TV Guide’s senior editor Will Keck. Priestley will direct Spelling’s debut on the show, currently scheduled to be shot at the end of January. While salary reportedly squashed Tori’s initial plans to return to the show, recent negotiations were storyline-specific. Spelling, whose father Aaron Spelling created the original 90’s series, maintains a deep affinity for the character and only wanted to return if the material met her standards. The CW had hoped to close Spelling’s deal in time for the actress to join her castmates at a party Monday night, but she is currently in Vancouver shooting her second episode of Smallville as a Daily Planet reporter with the ability to melt.

This is awesome news! Last night’s ep of 90210 was pretty awesome … but the whole time I kept thinking about how the show was really missing something — Donna freakin’ Martin! Now that Brenda is going thru her problem, she’s gonna need more than just Kelly to help see her thru it. It’s the perfect time for Donna to return. I really hope that everything with this deal gets squared away properly, once and for all. Then, at last, the holy trinity of Brenda, Kelly and Donna can be whole again! Woot!!

Good Grief
It’s Pumpkin Pickin’ Time In Hollywood

Yesterday was a very popular day at the Mr. Bones Pumpkin Patch here in the Los Angeles, CA area as celebs of varying degrees of stature came out to pick up pumpkins with and for their children. Here are a few pics of some of the celebs that made their way out to the pumpkin patch yesterday to do some picking:

The celebs are getting a late start at the pumpkin patch this year. Last Halloween Lindsay Lohan started her pumpkin picking much earlier in the month of October than the celebs this year. Even still, yesterday seemed to be THE day that folks like Tobey Maguire, Marcia Cross, Tori Spelling and Nicole Sullivan decided to snatch up their Halloween pumpkins. See, celebs are just like you and me. Sure, they may have the help do all the messy pumpkin carving for them but they are the ones to do the actual manual labor of picking out the perfect pumpkins for their children. Amazing, isn’t it?

Donna Martin gets a shout-out on last night's ep of '90210'
Tori Spelling STILL Hopes To Appear On ’90210’

Last night’s episode of 90210, you know — the one that revealed the identity of Kelly Taylor‘s babydaddy, featured a very prominent shout-out to Tori Spelling‘s character Donna Martin (and the famous Donna Martin Graduates episode of BH, 90210) in the early part of the ep. It sounded so natural to have Kelly Taylor and Brenda Walsh talking about Donna Martin as if no time had passed, as if all was right with the world (Brenda also revealed that Donna has a baby … tho it wasn’t specified if she had that child with her husband David Silver). I feel that there is hope that Tori Spelling might still be brought on the show … in fact, Tori Spelling herself is still hoping that she might be able to, one day, return to the role that made her a star:

At the Silverspoons Pink Party Luncheon in recognition of breast cancer awareness, OK! caught up with Tori Spelling as she tried on the New Balance pink sneaker designed especially for breast cancer awareness month. Tori was happy to talk about upcoming projects, revealing she’s still holding out for a role on the new 90210. “Yeah, well see. I’m a big believer in what’s meant to be will be, so if it’s meant to be it will work out,” she says. “I watched it and I think it’s so cute. The new cast is so cute.”

My money says that last night’s Donna Martin shout-out is a clue that producers will eventually bring her back on the show again. My guess is that she will, indeed, return … most probably after Shannen Doherty‘s 4 eps have aired. I would love to have Kelly, Brenda and Donna all together again on screen but … at this point, I’ll take what I can get. After the jump, check out video of Kelly and Brenda talking about Donna in the cafeteria of West Beverly High School
