Yesterday we say pics of newlyweds Gisele Bündchen and Tom Brady enjoying a little R&R at a beach in Costa Rica with Tom‘s son John ahead of the couple’s second wedding in just two months. As you may recall, Gisele and Tom were wed in a small, quiet ceremony here in SoCal back in February (ending all talk of secret engagements) but apparently that wasn’t good enough. The pair quickly pulled together a second, slightly more lavish affair in Central America (presumably for the sake of Gisele‘s family who live there) which took place at sunset yesterday evening. The couple got hitched … again:

Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen exchanged vows in a short sunset ceremony at her home in Costa Rica early Saturday evening, PEOPLE has learned. The bride, in a long designer dress and a veil that trailed 10 feet, and holding a bouquet of white orchids, “looked so gorgeous,” a source tells PEOPLE. “She looked beautiful.” Security guards blocked off key access points to Bündchen’s house in Santa Teresa, where 25 or so guests gathered under a tent set up on the home’s balcony. After the ceremony, Brady, 31, in a gray suit and vest with white pants, held his 1 ½-year-old son John on the balcony and spoke with guests like Robert Kraft, owner of the New England Patriots. Bündchen, 28, also hugged guests while friends and relatives snapped photos. They all seemed “very happy, like they were having a great time,” says one onlooker. That afternoon, Bündchen got dressed at the nearby Hotel Flor Blanca while workers readied her home. Around 4:30 p.m. Bündchen and other guests raced back to her home just in time for the sunset nuptials. Earlier that day, Brady hosted a bachelor’s brunch for the men in his entourage at the luxurious Milarepa hotel, where guests dined from a menu designed especially by the American chef. Meanwhile Bündchen entertained female guests and went over last-minute wedding details at her home. The separate his-and-her gatherings was the final lead up to three days of pre-wedding celebrations before the couple’s second set of nuptials. (They officially wed in an intimate ceremony in Santa Monica, Calif., Feb. 26.)

Three things are clear — first, we know the couple who refused to be engaged for so long apparently love to get married. Second, altho the couple loves to get married, the don’t like doing so in front of large crowds. Third, sunset is their fave time to get hitched (both of their ceremonies took place at sunset). To be honest, I can totally understand why the couple would choose to have a second ceremony so close to the first one. A girl most definitely wants her family to be in attendance when she marries the man of her dreams so I’m pretty sure this second wedding was solely for her benefit. It really sounds like both weddings were quiet, tasteful affairs … which added up together still sound less garish and opulent than, say, the wedding of Jennifer Lopez to Marc Anthony. It remains to be seen if the couple are planning a third wedding but my guess is that two ceremonies is enough for the happily rewedded couple. Congrats!

After quietly wedding in late February, newlyweds Gisele Bündchen and Tom Brady have made their way down to Costa Rica in order to throw wedding #2 in the presence of her family and friends in Central America. Today is the day that the couple says I Do again but yesterday was the day for the pre-wedding festivities. Here are a couple pics of the happy couple along with Tom‘s young son John Edward Thomas with Bridget Moynahan (who Giesle likes to think is her own son) enjoying a day at the beach before their re-nuptials:

Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen continued their low-key Costa Rican weekend wedding celebration by hitting the beach and enjoying a barbecue before their big day Saturday. The couple – along with Brady’s son John (with former girlfriend Bridget Moynahan) and his parents – hit the beach Friday around noon, where the New England Patriots quarterback chased his 1 ½-year-old son around the surf. While Brady, 31, and Bündchen, 28, relaxed by the beach, most of their wedding guests spent the afternoon lounging poolside at their hotels. To help their guests get around the village and beaches of Malpais, the couple rented seven quadcars – small four-wheeled motorcycle-like vehicles, a source tells PEOPLE. Later, friends and family gathered at the couple’s home in the area for an evening barbecue. The night before, the Brady-Bündchen wedding party enjoyed a laidback rehearsal dinner at the Milarepa beachfront hotel.

While the couple are preparing for their second wedding, I’m sure the affair will be treated as Gisele‘s first wedding to Tom. From the sound of it, today’s ceremony promises to be a huge celebration of the couple’s love for one another. I’m actually surprised that the pair decided to marry here in SoCal first in such a quiet ceremony when they could’ve just as easily waited to do it big the first time in South America. In any event, much congrats goes out to the happy couple again on their second ceremony. Mebbe it’s about time they got started work on a little sister or brother for Tom‘s son John … so that Gisele can give Bridget Moynahan back her baby.

After about 3 weeks of happily married bliss, Brazilian supermodel Gisele Bündchen and new hubby Tom Brady made their way down to her home country so that she could introduce him to members of her family that he had yet to meet. While at the airport, the lovey dovey newlyweds couldn’t keep their hands off of one another (and it’s amazing how sweet photos of Gisele and Tom kissing are as opposed to, say, photos of Paris Hilton and Doug Reinhardt kissing … but, I digress) … here are a few pics:

Newlyweds Gisele Bündchen and Tom Brady got in some sweet treats and family time over the weekend. The couple flew to Brazil, where Bündchen is from, so Brady could meet some of his new wife’s family members he hasn’t met before, according to a source. Plus, the couple helped Bündchen’s grandfather celebrate his 83rd birthday in the southern Brazilian city of Horizontina, the local newspaper Zero Hora reports. Brady, 31, and Bündchen, 28, who got married last month in a small ceremony in Santa Monica, Calif., also enjoyed some ice cream and toured the city. Brady, the quarterback for the New England Patriots, was spotted exercising at a local gym.

Awww … so glad that the couple could make the trek down to visit Gisele‘s grandpappy … at 83, I’m sure he appreciated it as well. True to form, the couple have generally been keeping a low profile since their secret wedding … perhaps this Brazilian vacay will be a sort of extended honeymoon for the lovebirds. Cute!!

Earlier this year we were tricked TWICE into thinking that longtime lovers Gisele Bündchen and Tom Brady got engaged to be married. The first false alarm came from TMZ, the second false alarm came from People magazine. Yesterday, without any warning at all, Gisele and Tom skipped right over the engagement part and went right to the nuptials … the couple got hitched, y’all:

It’s official! Gisele Bundchen and Tom Brady wed today at the St. Monica Catholic Church in Santa Monica, Calif., Usmagazine.com confirms. The bride, 28, donned a form-fitting ivory lace strapless gown with a trumpet skirt, scalloped edges, long train and a floor-length veil with attached handmade satin roses and attached satin headband, all by Dolce & Gabbana. Her three dogs also wore matching Dolce & Gabbana floral lace collars. Dolce & Gabbana most recently dressed Fergie for her January nuptials to Josh Duhamel. The ceremony — which began at dusk — was “very small and intimate,” a source tells Us, adding that guests mostly consisted of immediate family. Brady’s son with ex-girlfriend Bridget Moynahan, John Edward Thomas Moynahan, was also present. (Fitting, as Bundchen once described her ideal wedding as “a simple ceremony…I don’t like parties, I prefer something more intimate, just for the closest people.”) Reps did not immediately return calls … Engagement rumors began to surface about the couple late last year. First, TMZ.com announced Brady popped the question Dec. 24 on a private plane, then People claimed they planned to wed in Costa Rica. Bundchen, however, slammed both reports as false. “Someone deduced I was getting engaged…I don’t know how people are so creative,” she told Brazilian magazine Caras Gi last month after receiving over 100 e-mails from pals asking about the engagement. I love it! I knew this wedding was coming … and I knew that they were gonna do it on their terms. Honestly, I didn’t expect the couple to walk down the aisle so soon after the engagement rumors started, I figured they’d pull a fast one closer to the Summer. But, the couple managed to fool everyone and get married right under all of our noses — well played. I gotta say, I’m very glad the couple went straight to the altar and spared us another round of engagement bullshizz. Much love and congrats to them both!!

First we heard that Brazilian supermodel Gisele Bündchen and New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady got engaged around Xmas, then we learned that they did NOT get engaged around Xmas. Early last week, we learned from the usually impeccable People magazine that the couple finally did get engaged and were planning to be wed in Costa Rica sometime this year. WELL … according to Gisele Bündchen, who would kinda be the one to know about any engagments going on, she and Tom ARE NOT ENGAGED to be wed after all:

Ten days ago, People reported Gisele Bündchen and Tom Brady were engaged for real. And we believed them, because it’s hard not to trust a magazine that’s — in all seriousness — quite well-reported, yet also so colorful. But Gisele told Brazilian magazine Caras she’s not engaged after all. The Boston Herald reports: “I don’t know how people are so creative,” said Gi, who was back home in Brazil for São Paulo Fashion Week. “First they said he proposed to me in a plane. Imagine, it was Dec. 24, Christmas, we were flying to Boston, then there was some champagne and we celebrated the date. Ready? Someone deduced I was getting engaged! I received more than 100 e-mails from friends commenting about the proposal. Now there’s a new rumor, that he proposed to me on last Friday [sic]. I wasn’t even there, how can that be true?” But all hope that the most beautiful people in the world will legally solidify their eternal happiness in each other’s fatless arms is not lost. Gisele said she plans to marry Tom one day, but a date hasn’t been set. And as for that big, fashionista wedding People’s sources suggested we hold out for? Don’t count on it. Also, contrary to rumors, Costa Rica might not be the wedding locale: “This talk of Costa Rica must be for the fact I have a house there,” she said. “I don’t know yet if it’s going to be here or in another country, but what I know is that it’s going to be something small, a simple ceremony. I don’t like parties, I prefer something more intimate, just for the closest people.” Fine. Dash our dreams. Gisele added she hopes to raise her kids in Brazil one day, though now her life is in the U.S. (where it belongs, ahem). But interestingly, Tom Brady has never even been to Brazil, and can’t travel down there now to be with Gisele, who’s walking in Sao Paulo Fashion Week, because he’s injured and his doctors won’t allow it. They’ve been together how long and he hasn’t been to Brazil? Quick! Someone start a rumor that they’re on the rocks because he refuses to go home with her.

OMG, I’m so seriously over it already. At this point, after TWO incorrect engagement reports, I’m not going to believe that the couple are getting married until either I hear it from them directly or until the wedding photos come out. Period. Even tho People magazine rarely gets these sort of things wrong and doesn’t ever (in my estimation) make up stories just for publicity, I was a bit suspicious that their report contained no official confirmations from either Gisele or Tom and/or their reps. That was the the one sticky wicket that gave me pause when their report came out last week. No engagement, not yet … mebbe not ever … who the hell knows. If I were you, I’d take back that toaster you may have picked up for the pair at your local Crate & Barrel.

Last month, just after Xmas/just before New Year’s Eve, TMZ erroneously reported that Gisele Bündchen and Tom Brady got engaged to be married while flying on a white roses-laden private plane from New Jersey to Boston, MA … a report that was immediately debunked by members of the couple’s family who were in the know and denied that any engagement took place on Xmas Eve. Today, People magazine is reporting that AT LAST the couple have finally, really gotten engaged after Tom proposed to Gisele over the weekend … they’re really gettin’ hitched, y’all!

Gisele Bündchen and Tom Brady are making some major post-season plans after getting engaged in Los Angeles over the weekend, PEOPLE has learned. The New England Patriots quarterback, 31, proposed with a diamond solitaire to the Brazilian supermodel, 28, on Friday. “He asked and she accepted,” a source close to the couple tells PEOPLE. Family and friends were informed over the weekend. An official announcement, as well as preliminary wedding details, are being planned by Bündchen and her closest friends this week. “The couple is discussing a huge fashionista event in the spring or a more intimate and quicker ceremony in Costa Rica, where Gisele has a home,” the source adds. While engagement rumors flew – and were denied – before Christmas, the January engagement will mark the first marriage for both. Bündchen’s agent told PEOPLE, “We don’t comment on our clients’ private lives.”

I really hope that People magazine got it right this time, cuz another false engagement report would be a bit too much to handle. As I said before when I thought the couple got engaged last month, I am thrilled for them both. They make a ridiculously handsome couple and I’m sure they’ll be very happy with one another in wedded bliss. I honestly never thought the couple would be able to keep their relationship going after Tom became a father after he broke up with Bridget Moynahan … I thought, for sure, Gisele would run for the hills and away from motherhood. I’m very happy to know that I was wrong. Congrats to the happy couple, here’s hopin’ they tie the knot sooner rather than later … I can’t even imagine how stunningly beautiful Gisele Bündchen will look in her wedding dress.

On Friday TMZ reported exclusively that New England Patriots QB Tom Brady and supermodel extraordinaire Gisele Bündchen got themselves engaged to be hitched on Xmas Eve while traveling by private jet to Boston, MA … but unfortch, according to relatives in the know, the engagement never happened. Speaking to the press over the weekend, Tom Brady, Sr. (Tom‘s father) denied the engagement report as “rumor, rumor, rumor …”:

Don’t believe the holiday engagement rumors swirling around supermodel Gisele Bündchen and New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady. Brady’s father, Tom Brady Sr., told The Boston Globe on Friday that reports of his son’s engagement were “rumor, rumor, rumor … We don’t know a thing about it. Nobody told me. We talked to him and there’s nothing to say.” The Boston Herald reported that the couple strolled down Bean Town’s Beacon Street on Friday – and that Bündchen, 28, was without an engagement ring. Bündchen’s twin sister, Patricia, also denied the report, saying in an e-mail that the engagement story – which first surfaced on TMZ – is “not true.” Reached by PEOPLE, Bündchen’s rep declined to comment. Stacey James, a spokesman for the Patriots, responded, “I heard the report that he [proposed] on a plane, but I don’t think it’s true.” Still, he added, “Tom keeps his private life private.”

You know, I thought it was fishy that TMZ got the scoop about how this engagement reportedly went down because, according to their report, Tom proposed to Gisele on a private jet that was loaded with flowers and family members … and I wondered which one of the family members blabbed. All these denials from relatives in the know makes me believe that TMZ got fed a fake story. Methinks if Gisele got engaged to one of the most popular (and wealthy) sports stars in the US then she’d be showing off new new engagement bling to the whole wide world. It’s a bummer that the couple didn’t get engaged … they do make a hawt couple.

Tom Brady proposed to Gisele on a private jet on XMAS eve — and she said yes. Our sources say Brady, who is famous for his QB skills and running errands for Gisele, proposed on a private jet that took off from Teterboro Airport in New Jersey and landed in Boston. There were four dozen white roses on board, as well as champagne. Along with Brady and Gisele were her parents. We’re told Brady was nervous before he popped the Q.

Awww … that sounds sweet … and what a great Xmas present! I had a feeling that Tom and Gisele would be gettin’ themselves hitched sooner or later. She’s had him wrapped around her finger for months now, and you can’t really blame him — she’s a stunning beauty. Here’s hoping the happy couple a lifetime of happiness … and a short engagement. I’d love the couple to seal the deal sometime in 2009.
