Unfortunately for quarterback Tom Brady and the New England Patriots, the New York Giants won Super Bowl XLVI yesterday. But, it turns out that Gisele Bündchen, wife of Patriots quarterback Brady, knows exactly why the Patriots lost and the Giants won. According to Gisele, the fault absolutely does NOT lie with her husband. The blame falls squarely on Brady‘s Patriots teammates because, according to her, they couldn’t catch all the perfectly thrown balls that her husband delivered. After the big Patriots loss yesterday, Gisele was overheard making these disparaging comments about the Patriots receivers … and you can read her comments in full below.

As you can see in the photos below, Benjamin was outfitted with his very own Patriots hat … lookin’ like a cute little chip off the ol’ block.

Earlier today we got to see a few photos of a shirtless Jude Law enjoying the Carnival atmosphere in Rio De Janerio, Brazil this weekend and right now we get to see a set of photos of the beauteous Gisele Bündchen at Carnival as well. Gisele took part in one of the parades in Rio this weekend and she looked like a golden goddess. Her husband Tom Brady tagged along as well and the couple were spotted smoochin’ in the streets. It sounds like it was a very fun weekend for Mr. and Mrs. Brady-Bündchen.

Football star, husband and father Tom Brady has been hired as the new spokesmodel for Under Armour athletic undergarments. In addition to a lucrative payment, Brady will also receive stock options in the company … which sounds like a pretty sweet deal to me. Back in June we got our first look at Football stud Tom Brady‘s shaggy new ‘do which he debuted at the 2010 NBA Finals in Boston, MA and as the Summer progressed we got to see it get shaggier and shaggier. Today we learn why Tom has decided to keep his long and flowy locks without submitted to a haircut … he’s keepin’ his hair because his supermodel wife Gisele Bündchen is making him keep his hair:

It’s been a long time growing for the shag-a-licious Tom Brady, whose bad hair days just won’t go away thanks to his increasingly long locks. So why won’t the handsome quarterback cut his hair? His supermodel wife Gisele Bündchen. “You’ll have to speak to my wife about that,” demurred the New England Patriot when he was asked by Massachusetts radio jock Greg Hill if there was anything he could personally do to get Brady to chop his hair, reports the Boston Herald … However, the football star did get the ultimate approval – from someone else besides wife Bündchen: “Nice haircut, Brady,” Bieber, the hair extraordinaire himself, relayed to the Herald.

Okay, firstly … if you’re lucky enough to be married to a beauty like Gisele Bündchen and she tells you to keep growing your hair, you keep growing your hair. Secondly, not many men can pull off a longer hairstyle like this … but these longer locks do look good on Tommy boy. Earlier today we got to see a few photos of Gisele Bündchen and her baby boy Benjamin Rein strollin’ around NYC yesterday but right now we learn some serious news about hubby/daddy Tom Brady. Brady was involved in a car accident when his car reportedly struck another vehicle that made an improper red light turn. Fortunately, Tom was uninjured in the crash … but the driver of the other vehicle had to be extracted from their van by emergency crews. Here are a couple photos of Tom at the scene of the accident earlier today:

New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady was involved in a two-vehicle accident Thursday morning near his home in Boston, Massachusetts, but is now “fine,” according to a source familiar with the incident. Brady was not injured and was already at football practice after the wreck, the source said. The driver of the other vehicle was hospitalized, but the condition of that person was not immediately clear, the source said. Law enforcement sources told the Boston Globe that Brady was driving a sedan and was treated at the scene. The driver of the other vehicle, a passenger van, was transported to a local hospital, the Globe reported. The accident occurred about 6:34 a.m., according to Boston Fire Department spokesman Steve MacDonald.

There has been chatter that Tom was injured in the crash and some are suggesting that he may be dealing with whiplash but, on the contrary, sources claim that he was completely uninjured in the accident and went straight to football practice as soon as he was released from the accident scene. Newlyishweds Gisele Bündchen and Tom Brady got themselves all dolled up this week for the christening of their first born child together Benjamin Rein (who was born back in December of last year). As you may recall, it was in March that we first saw the happy Brady Bündch family all dolled up in their Sunday best for Gisele‘s sister’s wedding in Brazil … but this time, the fam is lookin’ all dressy for a more private family occasion here at home:

I know it won’t belong ’til the little kid is walking, then driving, then taking over the world as the most beautiful human being to have ever existed! Where does the time go?
