No, I’m not talking about their tragic new show Launch My Line, I’m talking about the rumors that they are actually considering replacing both NeNe Leakes and Kim Zolciak on The Real Housewives of Atlanta. One report claims the ladies are feuding with Bravo over pay, another report asserts the parties are feuding over electric bills. Whatever the case may be, there is a real chance that both NeNe and Kim may not return for the third season of the show … which, IMHO, would be the greatest travesty in Bravo TV history:


Forget about being “Tardy for the Party”! It seems Kim Zolciak and NeNe Leakes may not even be invited to the party! A report claims Bravo producers are looking to replace the feuding stars in the third season of The Real Housewives of Atlanta. “Things with NeNe and Kim have been intense,” a source told the The New York Daily News, “but Bravo feels the show is about the franchise as a whole and won’t let one person stop it.” The two frenemies are reportedly demanding bigger paychecks from Bravo for the upcoming season and the show’s producers are “so fed up with their diva-esque requests” that they’re “taking meetings with some notable and wealthy Atlanta women” about joining the show in Kim and NeNe’s place. While Bravo had no comment on the reported casting shakeup, a source tells PEOPLE that “no decisions on a season 3 have been made yet.”

From TMZ: NeNe Leakes and Kim Zolciak are locked in a stand-off with the people at “Real Housewives of Atlanta”– and we’re told it’s partly due to a power struggle over their electric bill. Sources close to the ladies tell TMZ both women are in the midst of contract negotiations with Bravo for next season — and a major point of contention is the electric bill. We’re told the ladies are sick of having to pay giant electric bills out of their own pocket after the show tapes at their homes and drains tons of juice from their sockets. We’re also told the women are demanding an upgrade in travel arrangement — because they’re tired of having to use their own airline miles to upgrade from the coach seats provided by the show. There are more demands — including stipends for wardrobe, hair and make-up. Calls to Bravo were not immediately returned.

Here’s the deal … NeNe and Kim are THE best castmembers on the show. If one of them was lost, it would be bad for the show … if both of them are axed, the show is no longer worth watching — period. I get that they may have bigger demands but they really made the show the success that it is. Bravo prolly thinks they can be replaced and viewers won’t care … not true. I will care and I can assure you, I would NOT be interested in watching a NeNe-less season of Atlanta Housewives. Bravo needs to work this shizz out … they simply cannot lose their 2 biggest Atlanta stars.

Clearly some fence-mending took place at the reunion (or shortly thereafter) because once-friends, then bitter enemies and costars NeNe Leakes and Kim Zolciak were spotted all chummy as BFFs again at Mr. Chow restaurant in Beverly Hills, CA last night:


You may recall that earlier this year Kim alleged that NeNe tried to “choke her out” while the two were in production of the second season of The Real Housewives but that incident (whether it really happened or not) seems now to be water under the bridge. I suppose it’s nice that the ladies have kissed and made up (well, hugged) but with this good news … comes bad news … very, very bad news.

I have it on good authority that Kim Zolciak does NOT like to wear underwear … and now YOU are going to have it on the very same HORRIFYING authority. Kim managed to flash her naughty nasty bits as she get out of her car to meet up with NeNe at Mr. Chow last night … and horror or horrors … it is NOT a pretty sight:

The video looks kinda homemade but it’s cute … I guess. I hate that I like the song because I really cannot stand Kim … but everything great about the song is due to Kandi’s musical (and seemingly magical) talent. You listen to this song once and it’s in your head for hours/days/weeks. It remains to be seen if Zolciak will release a music video of her own … but I think this one is enough.

These savvy reality TV stars know what they are doing and made a wise choice to dine at Villa Blanca. Hawtness!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE that Slade tried to get some sugar from NeNe and she was NOT interested at all. The Real Housewives of Atlanta is about halfway thru their current season and then The Real Housewives of Orange County starts up their new season in November. Altho it’s kinda disgusting, I’m curious to see how Gretchen and Slade ended up getting together so soon after Gretchen’s last fiancée/sugardaddy Jeff Beitzel passed away. Lawd, these shows are so trashy … I just can’t get enough.

NENE LEAKES — After directing her costars during their shoots, NeNe stepped in front of the camera to portray a pole-dancing stripper and a reluctant socialite tipper.

SHEREE WHITFIELD — Making light of her much-hyped “seven-figure” divorce settlement, the She by Shereé designer posed as a fashionista and a robber.

LISA WU-HARTWELL — Watch the cookies! At the alter-ego photo shoot, NeNe got her pal to pose as a punk and a goody-goody Girl Scout.

KIM ZOLCIAK — Deciding not to dress up like a black version of herself, Kim chose to pose as a mistress and her lover’s scorned wife at a Laundromat.

KANDI BURRESS — Kandi, whose friends were involved in a drunk-driving accident, decided send a message, portraying an intoxicated clubber who got behind the wheel and her victim.

I personally was not too impressed by all of the photos. I thought NeNe, Shereé and Lisa had the right attitude … Kim’s photo is fug and Kandi’s photo – while admirable – wasn’t really a photo showcasing her dual personality. Overall, I thought the shoot was fun tho … Blanks has come up with a very creative idea and he has shot some very cool photos. I just love the Atlanta Housewives, they are my fave of the bunch. What do y’all think of these photos … are they cool or do they miss the mark?

I was pretty shocked to learn that NeNe and Shereé have mended fences are now friends again … who both hate trashy-ass Kim. Good stuff. So now that Shereé doesn’t have NeNe to fight with, who’s she gonna mess with? Some fool party planner named Anthony, that’s who. If you saw the ep last night, you saw how this unprofessional idiot started gettin’ smart with Shereé — his client — on national television. Shereé, the self-proclaimed “boss bitch”, stood her ground and almost whooped the fool’s ass when he got in her face. People she almost called Pookie in Cleveland to come help her whip some ass … but, in the end, she took care of biz all on her own. LOL!! I cannot believe that a professional party planner would call his client a bitch (in addition to calling their “mama” a bitch) on national TV and still expect to get work. Shereé just rules … she handled herself very well … GAWD I love this show. I can’t wait until the Real Housewives start fighting with one another … but this fight with fool Anthony is enough to tide me over ;)

David and I met up with Darion for dinner last night … ’twas great to see him. We’re all planning on getting together again tonight … should be fun!!

Sad. But, hilarious. As much as I cannot stand Kim, I really do love The Real Housewives of Atlanta (they’re my faves) and I am very much looking forward to watching her future pathetic attempts to garner fame and fortune in season 2 of the show. There has been much said about the “fakeness” of my fave Housewife Nene Leaks but this just proves that Kim is the fake one … who can’t pay her bills … or find a wig that fits. Incidentally, you might recall that this same thing happened to Michael Lohan when he didn’t pay his webhosting bills. Not that I’m trying to offer any help to either of them, but Kim and Michael are of the same sorry ilk and would prolly do much better if they teamed up to become one mega pathetic Z-list couple. Between the two of them, I’m sure they could afford to pay for webhosting a blog … I think. Mebbe they should just go with one of those free accounts to avoid this sort of embarrassment in the future … but, then again, what fun would that be for us?

After a few marginally successful seasons in Orange County, CA and a pretty sub par season in NYC, NY, the Bravo TV reality show will be goin’ down south to tell the tale of The Real Housewives of Atlanta. After the blog The Young, Black and Fabulous broke the news on June 9, Bravo has finally confirmed the news … releasing a promo pic of the ladies in addition:


Bravo finally confirmed today that, yes, there is a “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” coming to the cable network later this summer. Here’s how Bravo is spinning it in its press release:

Bravo is heading south for its newest installment, “The Real Housewives of Atlanta.” The seven episode series will follow five women from Atlanta’s social elite – from NBA and NFL wives to sassy single moms – as they juggle their burgeoning careers and busy home lives with the whirl of the south’s hottest city.

Rumors have been floating around for months and the gossip Web site Young Black and Fabulous provided juicy details of four of the five women on June 9. This follows the original, trashy “The Real Housewives of the O.C.,” the offshoot “The Real Housewives of New York City” and soon “The Real Housewives of New Jersey.” Apparently, Bravo thinks it has its very own “CSI:” franchise. The first 30-minute preview special airs Wednesday, July 30 at midnight after a rebroadcast of “Project Runway.” A specific launch date for the series has not bee set yet.

Meh. Not a one of them looks at all like Blanche Devereaux so I’m not all that excited just yet. That being said, Blanche never portrayed herself as any sort of real housewife so … whatevs. I suppose we should applaud Bravo for finally allowing some color on the series … it seems way overdue IMHO. Actually, I’ll prolly watch … I’m just amazed that so many women would be so willing to allow a TV network to make them into jokes to be laughed at. Have they ever featured a woman of substance who can actually be admired? Maybe they found one in Atlanta. I guess we’ll have to wait and see.
