Yesterday we got a sneak peek at Levi Johnston’s upcoming pictorial in the pages of Playgirl magazine from The Insider and today we get to check out another sneak peek at the pics from both The Insider (again) and Entertainment Tonight … but we are also hearing from the lad himself. E! News’s Marc Malkin spoke with Johnston at the GQ Men of the Year event at the Chateau Marmont here in SoCal last night and Levi admitted that he never intended to show full frontal nudity even tho he coyly hinted that he would when he was promoting the Playgirl photoshoot. Here are a few preview screencaps from Levi’s shower photos along with his chat with Malkin last night:

Despite what Sarah Palin may think, Levi Johnston insists he’s not an aspiring porn star. And that’s exactly why we’re not going to be seeing all of Mr. Johnston’s junk in Playgirl. In fact, Johnston tells me he never had plans to go full frontal because… “I’m 19,” he told me at last night’s GQ Men of the Year party at the Chateau Marmont. “I don’t want that image. I don’t want to get into porn. I don’t want to get into X-rated adult videos.” Johnston says he’s seen some of the shots Playgirl is planning on releasing. “They turned out well,” he said. “I’m happy with them.” What do his friends back in Alaska think of all this? “I’m sure my friends are going to check them out and give me crap about them, but whatever,” Johnston said with a shrug. “I’m having fun with all of it.”

What a tease … I guess we had to be kidding ourselves if we really thought he was going to show us the full monty. Tho, to be honest, I don’t know that many of us (me, included) would’ve been so willing to believe that he was truly gonna go balls out (as it were) if we hadn’t been misled to believe that he was really gonna show all. It looks like we’re not gonna see much more than what we’ve been seeing in these censored preview photos that have been airing on entertainment news shows all week long. Yesterday we got our first look at the first photo released by Playgirl from their much ballyhooed photoshoot with Levi Johnston but The Insider last night took us on the set of the shoot to give us more of a preview of what we can expect in the mag … to be honest, and this should come as no surprise, there isn’t all that much to crow about:

Now, obvs, The Insider cannot show us anything of any substance on broadcast television but we learned early yesterday that there will be nothing to see anyways … Levi’s Playgirl shoot will be painfully bare of any p33n which seems to negate the whole reason for posing in a nudie mag in the first place. But, as you can see in the first screencap, Levi does give a hint of what he’s hiding in his athletic shorts and, well, it makes a little more sense why he’d be so shy and choose not to show what his mama gave him. The entertainment news program The Insider has come upon new photos of a bikini-clad Rihanna while on holiday and plans to show those photos on tonight’s episode of the show. Here are a few screencaps of the photos that are being previewed in a new video promo for tonight’s ep:

Altho the pop starlet looks sad in the photos, I am relieved to know that she is taking some time to gather herself and recuperate from her injuries in a nice tropical setting. I imagine that it must still be very difficult for Ri Ri in the wake of the alleged assault on her person by her boyfriend Chris Brown … I think that a tropical vacay is prolly really good for her right now. It sounds like the folks at The Insider have finally had enough of Pat O’Brien’s crazy shenanigans. The New York Post is reporting that Pat got fired yesterday, for real this time, after homie fired off some insulting and boastful emails to his co-workers. This incident IMHO isn’t as embarrassing as that voicemail incident that O’Brien got embroiled in a couple of years ago but it looks like The Insider is fed up … he’s dunzo, y’all:

PAT O’Brien is out of a job. The former host of “The Insider,” who was demoted to a correspondent after several stints in rehab, infuriated his bosses when he sent out an ill-advised e-mail Monday to his “Insider” and “Entertainment Tonight” co-workers, which boasted of his own popularity. The e-mail also said one of “Insider” host Lara Spencer’s segments on the show makes viewers “want to vomit.” Sources told us O’Brien was fired yesterday, and a rep for “The Insider” confirmed he’s out.

Yeah, Pat O’Brien sounds like a total mess. You’d think he’d have learned his lesson after his previous public shame and supposed rehabilitation in rehab but … I guess not. It sounds a bit fishy that he would not get fired over the voicemail incident but does get fired after sening off “ill-advised” boastful emails — so I suspect there’s more to the story. In any event, Pat O’Brien is looking for work these days … as any of y’all hiring?
