Here are a few photos of ex-lovers Kristin Cavallari and Brody Jenner together again filming scenes for the upcoming new season of The Hills which premieres on MTV in just a few short days. Since Kristin is the new queen bee on the show, it makes sense that she would be required to film scenes with almost all of the show castmembers … but I’m guessing it wasn’t too difficult to get her to reunite with Brody for these new beach scenes:

To be completely honest, I highly doubt that KC and Brody will be rekindling any old romances on the show … but it is nice to see them together again. I thought they made a great couple back in the day. The new promo commercials for The Hills feature exclusively Kristin with a big sign that reads The Bitch is Back:

None of the other castmembers are even mentioned … at all. Clearly MTV wants us to know The Hills will become The Kristin Cavallari Show … and what KC wants, KC gets … even if it’s alonetime with Brody. Weeeeeeee!! At last … it’s here!! The official trailer for the upcoming 6th season of the MTV reality TV series The Hills, the first with Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County alum Kristin Cavallari as protagonist, is upon us! Here are a few screencaps from the new video trailer:

Judging by the first official trailer for the new episodes of The Hills, there’s going to be plenty to talk about when the show returns to MTV on Sept. 29. “She’s the girl that’s going to stab us all in the back and she doesn’t care,” Stephanie Pratt says about Kristin Cavallari’s anticipated return. “How can one person turn all our lives upside down?” Here’s how: Lauren Conrad’s Laguna Beach rival also dated Brody Jenner, so his Playboy Playmate girlfriend Jayde may need to watch out. Although Audrina thinks she’s moved on from Justin Bobby, she may not be ready to see him with another girl. And guess what — Kristin also has her eye on Audrina’s ex, who she met at Spencer and Heidi’s wedding. Speaking of … It looks like Heidi has been bitten by the baby bug! In the trailer, she’s hinting that she may be ready to start a family. Are you ready for a little Speidi offspring? Neither is Spencer, so rest easy — for now! My girl Kristin Cavallari spent part of her weekend chillin’ in Malibu, CA hangin’ with some friends and filmin’ some scenes for the upcoming new season of The Hills. KC was very keen on showing off her bangin’ beach bod on the beach this weekend … behold:

As much as I love seeing photos of Kristin filming scenes for The Hills, I’m gettin’ kinda tired of the foreplay already … bring on the show already. I haven’t been this excited to watch The Hills in ages. I’m confident that Kristin will bring the drama and much entertainment when she takes over the reigns as the reigning queen of the faux-reality series on MTV. Weee … can’t wait!!

Well now … lookie here … here are new photos of Kristin Cavallari and Justin Bobby, from The Hills, lookin’ all chummy together as they coupled up for a ride on JB‘s motorcycle in Malibu, CA this weekend. I presume the couple were hamming it up for the MTV cameras as they filmed new scenes for the upcoming season of The Hills but, then again, mebbe there is more going on here than just a reality TV show fauxmance:

Boy … I bet Audrina Patridge is gonna LOVE seeing these photos. You know, it’s hard not to think that any and everything involved with The Hills cast is as fake as Heidi Montag‘s silicone boobs (not to mention her lurve for Jebus) but … it’s totally possible that KC would mack on JB in real life. In the end, I guess the drama will work very well on The Hills which, coincidentally, debuts on MTV will an whole new season (featuring Cavallari as the HBIC) in a few short weeks. Are y’all ready for the ridiculous drama? With Kristin at the helm, I’m MORE than excited for the show’s return. Wee!!!

Kristin Cavallari, who starred on MTV‘s Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County and is about to make her debut as the lead protagonist on The Hills this coming Fall, gave an interview to The New York Post to promote her new film Van Wilder: Freshman Year (straight-to-DVD release). Among the questions asked of Cavallari about this Van Wilder film, she also answered a few questions about her return to Reality TV and what it means to her career to be starring on The Hills. Judging by her assessment of appearing on The Hills, it sounds as if the lass is biting the hand that feeds her by saying her stint on the show feels like a “step backwards” for her career aspirations. Here is a portion of KC‘s interview with the NYP‘s Pop Watch:

Following in Audrina Patridge’s wah-wah wake is Kristin Cavallari, who nabbed the lead role in “Van Wilder: Freshman Year.” As Kaitlin, the plucky army brat who falls for Van’s signature brand of amour, she is totally opposite of what you’re expecting. And that’s the point. Although Kristin’s returning to “The Hills” this September, acting is her true passion and she plans to be it for the long haul. No topic was off limits as we talked about preparing for her biggest role to date, why she went back to reality TV and what she really thinks of “The Hills”!

PopWrap: Were you dubious about starring in a threequel?
Kristin Cavallari: Yes definitely! And filming it, you always think great things, but you never know how it’s going to turn out … but I was pleasantly surprised.

PW: Do you like watching yourself on screen?
Kristin: I hate it! I hate watching myself on screen! I absolutely hate it, it’s so hard to watch. I can see myself in magazines, but watching on TV or movies is like “ugh.”

PW: I’d imagine your background in reality TV makes it harder to land feature films, true?
Kristin: The “Van Wilder” producers didn’t want to hire me, I had to audition three times for this movie. They thought I was just some girl from reality TV, which I understand. It just makes me fight harder.

PW: You mentioned earlier that being on reality TV makes it hard for you to book movies, then why return to “The Hills”?
Kristin: It was a really hard choice for me. MTV’s been asking me to do it for years. I 100% want to be an actress, but with “Van Wilder: Freshman Year” coming out and a few other movies, I thought this would be an exciting way for my fans to reconnect with me because they haven’t seen what I’ve been up to since “Laguna Beach.” I thought it would help and, after all, it’s what mad me famous int he first place.

PW: Has your small appearance in the season finale affected the way casting directors see you yet?
Kristin: I haven’t been able to audition for anything since contractually MTV won’t let me. But I’ll telly you this, I’ve gotten a lot more phone calls about going on other shows since.

PW: Did you always want to be an actress?
Kristin: I always wanted to, but I just never thought it was a realistic goal. I was in Chicago and Colorado before that, so I never thought I had a shot. But when these opportunities arose, I thought, why not.

PW: So if “Laguna” never happened, what would you be doing now?
Kristin: I would have gone to college to study broadcast journalism. I wanted to go to Emerson College and would have tried to become a news anchor.

PW: Did you ever go to college?
Kristin: I went to one class at Loyola Marymount. I took public speaking where we went around the room and everyone had to say their name. I said, “Hi, I’m Kristin Cavallari from Laguna Beach” and that’s when “Laguna” was actually on TV, so I just decided it wasn’t the right time.

PW: Do you want to go back to college eventually?
Kristin: No. Even in high school … it was just enough. I’m really happy with what I’m doing. I read a lot of books, you know. So, no. I have no urge to go back to college.

PW: Down the road, where do you see your career going?
Kristin: I want to do great movies that are number one at the box office and also independent movies that are dark and miserable. I see myself with a career like Cameron Diaz — she does “What Happens in Vegas” and then “My Sister’s Keeper,” so I want to do it all!

PW: Is she your biggest inspiration?
Kristin: Cameron is number one, but I also like Charlize Theron and Sienna Miller … I’m going off looks too [laughs].

PW: How has being back on reality TV been for you?
Kristin: Well, we’ve only filmed for two weeks, so it’s hard to say, but I can tell you that it’s … everyone’s been … it’s been hard for them to adjust to me I think. So that in and of itself has caused a lot of drama.

PW: Is it weird going from a legit movie to doing loosely scripted reality TV?
Kristin: With “The Hills,” they have everything down to such a science, you don’t have to think about blocking. But doing “The Hills” has made me want to act so badly. I need a challenge and kinda feel like “The Hills” is taking me a step backwards. But that just makes me want to act that much more and try that much harder.

PW: So we shouldn’t expect to see you starring on “The Hills” in 2020?
Kristin: God no [laughs]. I would have not signed up for that. I’m only tied in to two seasons … so we’ll see how things play out.

I have to admit, I’ve got NOTHING but lurve for my girl Kristin Cavallari … and, to be honest, I think her aim to be the next “Cameron Diaz” is a pretty achievable goal. Cameron is a pretty successful actress even if she’s not that talented (ie. she’ll never be an award contender and, yet, she still gets a lot of work). I think KC can have a similar career. While she feels that The Hills may be a “step backwards” for her, I think it’s a great way to give her career a shot of publicity … that may help her career in the long run. Look at where starring on The Hills took Lauren LC Conrad. She’s a New York Times best selling author these days. Not too shabby. I love you KC, keep your chin up and have fun with The Hills. It could turn out to be the best career decision you ever made.

Now that Lauren LC Conrad is no longer a part of the MTV reality TV series The Hills but her best friend Lauren Lo Bosworth still is, it appears that Lo needs to cozy up to the new star of the show in order to get some screentime. While I seem to recall that Lo never really had any personal beef with Kristin back when they were both on Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County, there is no question that Lo was strongly on Team LC (which is diametrically opposed to being on Team Kristin). But a new day has dawned, Kristin is the new Queen Bee on The Hills and that means … you want screentime, you want to be hangin’ out with Kristin Cavallari:

The ladies lunched at Lola’s Cafe here in SoCal Thursday and looked as if they got along famously … that is, except for the times that KC looked bored out of her mind that Lo was even there. Hahahahaha … this shizz is so childishly high school, I love it. While I enjoyed much of the drama that we got on The Hills in previous seasons, I was really a fan of the juvenile ridiculousness of Laguna Beach more than anything. I’m hoping that some of that foolishness will be injected into The Hills in the coming season. It’d be great if some other LB alums showed up in the new season as well … like Talan, Trey, Polster — FTW!! Here’s hoping the new season of The Hills offers less contrived drama and more actual juvenile sniping. Call me crazy but I miss when reality TV actually showcased reality.

After filming her first scenes as the new star of MTV‘s reality TV series The Hills last week, Kristin Cavallari continued her work on the show this week as she was seen filming more new scenes for the upcoming season of the show. According to reports, Kristin is being paid upwards of $63,000 per episode to be on the show (only $2,000 less per ep than former star Lauren LC Conrad was being paid … a salary she earned after being on the show for years). Right out of the starting gate (if this report is to be believed), KC is making more money than everyone else on the show next season. Not too shabby for a job that requires her to sit around listening to inane conversation from folks like Stacie the Bartender or requires nights out on the town with other castmember’s ex-boyfriends like Audrina Patridge‘s ex Justin Bobby:

If anyone’s in the market for a new gig, allow us to suggest a career as a reality TV villain. The hours are lousy, but we’ve got a feeling you’re going to enjoy the perks…. In case you were wondering what brought Laguna Beach baddie Kristin Cavallari back to MTV, feast your eyes on this: Life & Style Weekly is reporting that the blonde wannabe actress will earn an astounding $63,000 per episode after signing on to replace archrival Lauren Conrad as the new protagonist on Season 6 of MTV’s The Hills. That’s almost unheard of in the land of unscripted television — and just $2,000 less than $65,000 per episode payday that the network was shelling out for LC. “They needed her,” a production insider says, explaining why Kristin will earn over $1 million for her work this season, solidifying her spot as the highest-paid castmember on The Hills. “They needed someone new and fresh, who also came with a buzz and a name that was recognizable. Kristin was the obvious choice.” According to the source, Kristin used MTV’s desperation to replace Lauren to her advantage during contract negotiations. “She wanted money. You don’t have to pay the other girls that kind of money, but for Kristin you had to pay up.” At least one member of the cast believes the tongue-lashing Kristin’s tenure on The Hills will be worth every penny. “She’s so fun and crazy,” says series star Holly Montag. “Kristin’s not afraid to put anything on camera. She’s not going to hold anything back.”

In my estimation, Kristin Cavallari is worth every penny. It’s very true, The Hills would’ve been dunzo if she hadn’t agreed to join the show in LC‘s place … they did need KC if they really wanted to bring back the show for another season. Last August, In Touch Weekly reported the rumored salaries of the castmembers of The Hills and claimed that LC was making $75,000 per episode. It was later clarified that the salaries they reported were slightly inflated (so I suppose the claim that LC was really making $65,000 is very plausible). Whatever the actual salaries may be, there is no denying the fact that MTV had to pay a pretty penny to get Kristin Cavallari to join the show. I have NO DOUBT that Kristin is gonna bring the delicious entertainment (ie. much needed bitchiness) to the show. Altho she’s been away from the MTV cameras for quite some time, she seems to have slipped back into the swing of things very easily. Lauren Lo Bosworth posted a photo on her official Twitter profile last night with Kristin and Stephanie Pratt partying at a club:

Irregardless of the drama we will see on the show, it looks like The Hills ladies are laughing together all the way to the bank.

Earlier this week we saw photos of Kristin Cavallari and other castmembers of The Hills filming the first scenes for the new season of the show where Kristin takes over as protagonist on the show (in the wake of Lauren LC Conrad‘s departure) … but right now we get our first look at Kristin‘s introduction on the show. As you may recall, a few weeks ago we learned that KC was a guest at Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt‘s wedding (which was filmed for the show) and her appearance at the wedding turns out to be her introduction to the show. MTV has released a short vid of Kristin‘s intro which will be featured on the season finale of The Hills which will air on MTV tomorrow night:

As we already know, Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County alum Kristin Cavallari is taking over as the HBIC on The Hills (in the wake of Lauren LC Conrad‘s departure from the show) and she and the cast began filming scenes for the new season this week. Longtime fans might remember that Kristin and Brody Jenner used to date in the time before Brody was even on The Hills … so they’ve got a long history. Brody is now with Playboy Playmate Jayde Nicole who has had to defend her relationship with Brody against fellow Hills castmember Audrina Patridge, who tried to bed Brody in a recent ep of the show. Now that Kristin is on the show, Jayde‘s got a lot more to be worried about. Here are pics of Kristin and Brody filming scenes together yesterday — alone — here in SoCal for an upcoming ep of The Hills. Might they be rekindling their old romance for the show?

HMMM … while it’s possible that Kristin may re-hook-up with Brody on the show, I understand that she might be paired up with Justin Bobby as well — much to Audrina‘s chagrin, I’m sure. Isn’t it nice to know that a girl has options? Whatever the case may be, whether she hooks-up with one or both of these guys, I can’t WAIT to watch the drama unfold on the show for myself. Paris Hilton, newly returned to the US from her travels abroad with latest boyfriend Doug Reinhardt, gave a short interview to US Weekly magazine yesterday and had a few colorful things to say about the MTV reality TV show The Hills. You may recall that Paris‘s beau, Doug, made a name for himself by appearing on the show as Lauren LC Conrad‘s romantic love interest on The Hills before she dumped him on the show. He hung around for a few eps by trying to befriend Brody Jenner and Frankie Delgado … but off-screen, he set his sights on achieving fame by dating Amanda Bynes. After she dumped him, the next logical course of action was to date Paris Hilton and BAM! the perfect couple was born. But, according to Paris Hilton, she is not a fan of The Hills … primarily because she believes it is “fake and lame”:

Paris Hilton says her beau Doug Reinhardt won’t be appearing on MTV’s The Hills again. “The show is, like, so lame and fake. He doesn’t even want to be a part of it,” Hilton told Usmagazine.com Wednesday at the Fifi Awards in NYC. Lauren Conrad famously dumped Reinhardt on the show. Brody Jenner later accused Reinhardt of going behind Conrad’s back by pursuing Stephanie Pratt. But Hilton told Us the show portrayed Reinhardt “in a way he’s not.” “They make up relationships when they’re not there, and he just thinks it’s lame,” she said. “I’ve never seen the show in my life. I have no idea what it’s about. But he just thought it was cheesy.” Reinhardt’s reality days aren’t entirely over. He will appear on the second season of Paris Hilton’s My New BFF, which debuts June 2 on MTV. “It was great,” she told Us. “He was always on set every single day, giving fun ideas. With him there, he always gave the most amazing ideas. They actually hired him as a producer to be on BFF Dubai [Hilton filmed a version of her American reality show there]. They loved his ideas so much.”

LMAOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!! I cannot even believe some of the things that come out of Hilton‘s mouth. She is SOOOOO ridiculous, it’s beyond hilarious. I suppose the logical question would be how can Paris Hilton think The Hills is “fake and lame” if she’s “never seen the show in [her] life”? At least we can take comfort that her reality TV show My New BFF isn’t fake and lame, right? I just pray to the gods above that Paris and Doug will stay together forever … FOREVER! They so deserve one another more than any two people on Earth.
