Britney Spears has successfully completed her first-ever Australian tour by playing her last Aussie date in Adelaide on November 29 … which means that she has also successfully completed her world tour The Circus starring Britney Spears! I understand that our dear Britney completed 97 shows over 9 months … that is quite a feat. Here are a few photos from Britney’s last performance of The Circus at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre in Adelaide, Aus:

What a great year Britney has had! She kicked off her tour in New Orleans, LA back in March and ended up touring the US twice along with many dates in Europe and Australia … well done!! I was fortunate enough to see the show 3 times (LA, Anaheim and Chicago) and I had a blast … as did, I’m sure, everyone else at the 94 other performances.

But, as with all good things, the show had to come to an end. Britney has already packed up her shizz and said goodbye to Oz. After the jump, check out a few photos of Britney making her way home from Australia earlier today …

She looks great … and ready to be HOME! I suspect we’ll be seeing Britney Spears back on her home turf here in SoCal in no time … I believe she is in the air flying home right now. Britney Spears Is Wrappin’ Up Her First-Ever Aussie Tour

Earlier this week Britney Spears played 3 very successful concerts in Brisbaine, Australia at the Entertainment Centre and, for all intents and purposes, completed the last full leg of her first-ever Australian Tour. She has one more show to perform in Melbourne and one more to perform in Adelaide and then she will have successfully completed her Aussie tour of The Circus starring Britney Spears. Yesterday we learned that our dear Britney set a new concert ticket sales record at the Acer Arena in Sydney, Aus taking the top spot from Coldplay by selling more than 66,000 tickets over four nights … not to shabby for a performer who was plagued with some pretty harsh criticism when she arrived down under earlier this month. Here are a few photos of Britney on stage in Brisbaine as we take one last look at Britney’s tour The Circus starring Britney Spears:

Big pants are back. And Britney Spears is the rocking the look on the Australian leg of her tour. With the latest trend for underwear as outerwear hitting the high street, the 27-year-old has included big Spanx-style pants and sexy corsets into her Circus tour wardrobe. She worked a sexy geeky look, wearing large white glasses and a bowler hat with large black pants, fishnets and a black bra. She then teamed a pink fedora and white sunglasses, with a black PVC bra under a police woman’s shirt. She then wore a black waspie over pants and fishnet tights … Mother-of-two Britney also wore a jewel-encrusted corset during another track, along with fishnets. Britney is in Brisbane on the Australian leg of her tour.

I’m convinced that Britney Spears is made of Teflon … nothing of any controversial note sticks to the girl, at all! She has been to the depths of despair, seemingly destroyed her career and then a year later embarks on one of her most successful world tours ever! I will always have a huge soft spot for Britney and I will cheer her on come hell or high water. I’m so happy that her Aussie tour is ending on a pretty significant high note … I bet she is really looking forward to the end of this tour so she can return home for the holidays. Despite what her detractors will say, she has worked really hard this year and I hope she will be able to enjoy the benefits of her labor. Well done Britney, now get home safe.

Despite the fact that Britney Spears may have received some negative reviews during her current Australian tour, it turns out that our dear Britney is getting the last laugh and is enjoying much success on her first ever Aussie tour. It is being reported that Britney set a new record in concert ticket sales at the Acer Arena in Sydney, Aus selling over 66, 000 tickets over four performances … topping the record set earlier this year by Coldplay:

Britney Spears has broken the record for concert ticket sales at Sydney’s Acer Arena with a total of 66,247 tickets sold across 4 nights. Britney Spears ticket sales exceed the previous record set by Coldplay in March 2009 when the record stood at 59,391. Ticket sales record for sales in excess of 40,000 tickets at Acer Arena now stand at:

‘The Circus Starring Britney Spears’ Ends Its US Run

Britney Spears ended the second leg of her North American tour, The Circus starring Britney Spears, at Mandalay Bay Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, NV last night and by all accounts the entire tour (which took her to Europe earlier this year and will take her to Australia later this year) has been a smashing success. Before Brit Brit took to the state for one last time (here in the US), she loaded up her men (sons – Sean Preson and Jayden James, father – Jamie Spears and rumored paramour and agent – Jason Trawick) and made her way to the Sugar Factory boutique to load up on candy for her kiddies … here are a few pics:

Aww … such a cute family. I’m not sure if I totally believe the rumors that Jason and Britney aren’t together together … but I still contend they make a very nice family when they are all together. Britney Spears Gives Away Free Tickets To Sweaty Fans

Britney Spears, who performed at the Staples Center here in downtown LA last night, made a quick appearance at the Hollywood and Highland Complex yesterday to hand over a couple of free tickets to her concert The Circus starring Britney Spears to a couple of lucky fans who followed her tweet clues. Britney has been personally giving away tickets to her shows via Twitter (the first pair of tix she gave away were handed out in Times Square, NYC last month) and yesterday she gave away the latest pair … to a couple of very sweaty fans … in the presence of a scary-ass clown:

Britney will perform shows in San Diego, CA and Las Vegas, NV later on this week so folks in those cities might want to follow her Twitter account HERE to see if she will be giving away tickets to those performances as well. Britney Spears Covers Alanis Morissette In Concert

Britney Spears, who is currently on the second leg of her North American tour The Circus starring Britney Spears, busted out a surprise performance in Greensboro, NC last night. In addition to her normal setlist, Britney interjected a LIVE performance of the Alanis Morissette hit You Oughta Know:

It’s unclear if this new number is going to be repeated at future concert stops or if it was a one-time-only special performance. I understand they had problems with the rigging equipment and Britney was not able to make her usual entrance to the stage by descending from the rafters, nor was she able to fly on her huge umbrella to perform Everytime. I added a few videos so that you could see/hear Britney’s performance from different angles/perspectives. She sounds amazing and what a great song. Do you suppose she decided to do this song as a shout-out to THIS person? I really hope this was not a one time occurrence, I would love for our dear Britney to perform new/different cover songs at upcoming shows. It occurs to me that Britney may record this song for inclusion on her upcoming singles collection CD. She recorded Bobby Brown’s My Prerogative for her last greatest hits album, covering Alanis on her new collection makes total sense. What songs do you think Britney should cover in concert?

Britney Spears, who kicked off a 3-night engagement at Madison Square Garden here in NYC last night with a performance of her show The Circus starring Britney Spears, made a special appearance in Times Square yesterday afternoon to personally deliver a pair of ringside tickets to a pair of lucky fans who follow her on Twitter. All day long yesterday, Britney tweeted clues to the location of a pair of hidden tickets and two adept fans found the hiding place to win the tickets … which were personally delivered by Brit Brit herself:

As you can see, Brit was accompanied by her assistant Brett Miller and her manager Larry Rudolph … also, you can see that the lucky fans not only won a pair of tickets to last night’s show but they also each won a bottle of Britney’s newest fragrance Circus Fantasy by Britney Spears — isn’t that exciting? After the jump, if you are so inclined, you can see a few photos from Britney’s concert performance last night — there are a few new costumes and the pics are pretty fab …

Having seen the show 3 times on the 1st leg of The Circus starring Britney Spears, I don’t think I need to see it again but I can appreciate that so many more people who weren’t able to attend a show the first time around are able to see the show this time around. I suspect one of the shows will be recorded for release on DVD, perhaps one of the MSG shows here in NYC? Do your thang, Britney!

BritneySpears.com has been updated with a new gallery of photos that feature Britney Spears and her dancers taking a break from rehearsing a new musical number for an as-yet-unannounced song that will be debuted when Britney takes her concert tour The Circus starring Britney Spears back on the road in Europe next month. Clearly we cannot tell at all what song they were rehearsing for … all these pics show is Britney hanging out with her dancers flashing peace signs. Even still, it’s encouraging that Brit Brit continues to change up her tour so that folks who are seeing it fresh will deffo get their own unique experience of the show. As you may recall, Britney announced that she will be bringing The Circus back to the US for another round of dates in September and those tickets have just gone on sale. If you missed her the first time around you deffo do NOT want to miss her the second time around.

Woot!! First we learn that Britney is really dating her hottie agent Jason Trawick and now we learn that she is coming back to the US to tour one more time around. Things are going very well for our dear Britney these days. I’m not sure if I’ll need to see the show again (after all, I did see it 3 times the first time around) but I’ll wait until we hear more about this second North American leg of the tour to make a determination. I’m curious to find out who will be opening up for her on this second leg and I’m really hoping she’ll change up the setlist a little bit. My gut tells me the show will not change that much so … I might take a pass. But, for those of you who missed seeing the show before — you now have another chance to see it. I’m actually very surprised that this will be the first time that our dear Britney has toured Australia. I’m sure the Aussies are very excited that she is finally heading their way.
