Sienna Miller Finally Admits Her Affairs With Married Men Were Unsavory

After publicly complaining that the G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra action figure The Baroness based on her likeness is “cross-eyed and has the biggest chin you have ever seen”, Sienna Miller happy played with her toy alongside her castmates Channing Tatum (with his action figure based on his G.I. Joe character Conrad Duke Hauser) and Marlon Wayans at the Fuse studios in NYC yesterday for an appearance on No. 1 Countdown to promote their new movie (opening in theaters this Friday). Additionally, Sienna Miller confesses in a new interview with GQ magazine that her extramarital affair with the very married Balthazar Getty last year made her look “really awful” … and on that account, she is correct … but the fact that she realizes the err of her ways might show some maturity from Ms. Miller after all:

Her reputation went from glamorous free spirit to home wrecker when she fell for a married father of four. And in the aftermath of her affair with millionaire actor Balthazar Getty, Sienna Miller has admitted it ‘probably looked awful’. ‘I probably seem like not a particularly nice person, not a girl’s girl,’ the 27-year-old actress confided. And yet this acknowledgment of questionable behaviour came with the excuse that it was all just part of her rebellious character. ‘I think if you put a camera in anyone’s life and document it daily for six years, from the age of 21 to 27, there are going to be things that aren’t always pretty,’ she declared. ‘Those are the rebellious years, the years of self discovery. I’ve never been someone who has conformed, and I think my response to that level of attention was to pretend it didn’t exist.’ While Getty’s wife Rosetta went into hiding to look after their four children, Miss Miller’s rebellious streak saw her pictured topless with her lover on holiday. But as she explained to GQ magazine, she was not perfect and could not live her life trying to please other people. ‘I do think sometimes people get morally superior without understanding situations,’ she said. ‘And the situation I got into [with Getty] was not ideal but it happened and if I could go back and be more responsible, I would. Well, I probably would be less naive about ignoring the fact that people care. I’ve always kind of done exactly what my instincts said. I have a good brain on me but I’ve never really used it when it came to making decisions about love, which has been a blessing and a curse.’ She added: ‘I definitely have been foolish. I’ve made apologies to people I needed to, but I can’t apologise to people I don’t know for things they don’t understand.’ Miss Miller, who claims Getty is now just a friend, is probably better known for her love life than her movie roles. Before Getty, she had well-documented romances with actors Jude Law and Rhys Ifans. She has also been linked to James Bond star Daniel Craig, musician Jamie Burke and Star Wars actor Hayden Christensen. The actress, whose new film GI Joe: The Rise Of Cobra opens this week, said she knew she was regarded as ‘sexually manipulative’, but insisted this was not the case. ‘I’m supposed to be this complete slapper, that’s my reputation,’ she said. ‘But actually I was in a relationship from 19 to 21 with (the fashion designer) Dave [Neville], 21 to 24 with Jude, then 25 to 26 with Rhys, and then Balthazar. And then a few dalliances, three months here and there, but I’ve never been like a shitter. I’ve actually been kind of single for the past year. I’ve had somebody on the end of the phone maybe, but I haven’t been living with anyone or been in a proper relationship, and it’s been really great. And now I’m completely on my own. I think I’ve grown up a lot.’

Hallelujah! Sienna Miller is too pretty a woman to be chasing married men when there is a world of single men that would kill to be with her. I can’t say that I endorse her cheating ways on the “rebellious years” of “self discovery”, that kind of behavior is more an act of immature selfishness, but she seems to finally see the error of her ways … which is great news for everyone. Here’s hoping she can move forward with this new knowledge and carry on in a more respectable manner. I don’t think anyone expects sainthood from the young actress but if she wants to earn people’s respect, she’s going to have to start acting in a respectful manner. She appears to be on the right track … here’s hoping she sticks to the semi-straight and narrow.

"My doll is cross-eyed and has the biggest chin you have ever seen."
Sienna Miller Is Pissed Her Action Figure Looks Nothing Like Her

In a new interview with accomplished actress Sienna Miller, the young ingenue is bemoaning the fact that the action figure based on her G.I Joe: The Rise of Cobra character The Baroness looks nothing like her. Miller claims that her action figure is “cross-eyed and has the biggest chin you have ever seen” and bears no resemblance to her whatsoever:

Sienna Miller is more than a bit miffed that a new doll of her looks ‘sort of posessed’. While most actresses might consider it an honour to have an action figure made in their image, Sienna moaned that the brunette GI Joe was cross-eyed, and had a big chin. The figurine has been made for her new action movie GI Joe: The Rise Of The Cobra. The 27-year-old stars as a femme fatale in a sexy black leather catsuit as The Baroness opposite Channing Tatum. But an annoyed Sienna moaned: ‘My doll is cross-eyed and has the biggest chin you have ever seen. “Action figures are always a bit off, aren’t they? Oddly enough from side on it is definitely me but front on she looks sort of possessed.” But she added: “I’ve got very happy nieces and nephews when they get my doll for Christmas.”

HMMM … perhaps if the toy-makers wanted her action figure to be more recognizable as Sienna Miller it should’ve been packaged with a married man. I mean … ‘cuz then there’d be no doubt. Cue laughter. And we move on. After the jump, check out what some of the action figures created for the movie G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra look like — including Cobra Commander (played by Joseph Gordon Levitt) — whose doll-version gives some clue as to what he will look like in the film …

Soon you'll be able to get your hands on Duke, Hawk, The Baroness and more!
Who Wants To Play ‘G.I. Joes’ With Channing Tatum?

New G.I. Joe action figures, based on the upcoming live action flick G.I. Joe: Rise of Cobra, will be unveiled at the New York Toy Fair happening next week but here are a few preview photos to share with all y’all that show what the dolls action figures based on Sgt. Duke Hauser (Channing Tatum), Cobra operative The Baroness (Sienna Miller) and G.I. Joe leader General Hawk (Dennis Quaid) will look like:

He may be engaged, but ladies looking to get their hands on Channing Tatum can now take the hard-bodied hunk home with them. Tatum is one of five G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra stars to have a Hasbro action figure modeled in his likeness, alongside Sienna Miller and Dennis Quaid. Joining a long list of celeb action figures before them, Tatum’s “Duke,” Miller’s “The Baroness” and Quaid’s “General Hawk” will be revealed at Toy Fair from February 15-18 in New York.

Er, of these three toys — only Channing Tatum‘s Duke looks nothing like him (well, there is some resemblance but really the toy just looks like a meat head … oh wait). The Baroness and General Hawk look very much like Sienna Miller and Dennis Quaid. It’s unclear, from just these photos, how big the action figures are. I’m from the ’80s generation when the action figures were small and I hope that these new toys are the same size. I was never a fan of the larger, ’60s version of G.I. Joes which were bigger than Barbie size. Tho, I can see the appeal for some folks to want their Channing Tatum dolls to be as big as possible … for whatever reason :) In any event, all this G.I. Joe talk is really taking me back to my youth. I used to *love* playing G.I. Joes. Sigh. Good times. I really hope this new movie doesn’t ruin my fond childhood memories. What do ya’ll think … would any of you like to play with a Channing Tatum doll?

The real deal, this time
A New Batch Of ‘G.I. Joe’ Movie Posters Is Upon Us

Last month I posted a pretty cool movie poster that was believed to be a new promo poster for the upcoming action flick G.I. Joe: Rise of Cobra (based on the wildly successful toy, cartoon, comics line) but, in fact, turned out to be merely a fan creation. Today we get a batch of 6 new movie posters that are the real, genuine deal. Here is the official G.I. Joe movie poster that features Channing Tatum (or a very nice body double) as Sgt. Duke Hauser:

Paramount Pictures and Hasbro, whose previous collaboration was the worldwide blockbuster “Transformers,” join forces with Spyglass Entertainment for another extraordinary action-adventure “G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra.” From the Egyptian desert to deep below the polar ice caps, the elite G.I. JOE team uses the latest in next-generation spy and military equipment to fight the corrupt arms dealer Destro and the growing threat of the mysterious Cobra organization to prevent them from plunging the world into chaos. The film stars Channing Tatum, Dennis Quaid, Sienna Miller, Ray Park, Rachel Nichols, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Said Taghmaoui, Marlon Wayans, and Joseph Gordon-Levitt.

Still no sign of Cobra Commander (played by Joseph Gordon-Levitt) but the first movie trailer for G.I. Joe: Rise of Cobra will make its debut during the Superbowl this Sunday … mebbe we’ll get a peek at him this weekend? After the jump, check out 4 more posters that feature The Baroness (the first of two posters that feature a member of Cobra), Scarlett, Snake Eyes, Ripcord and Storm Shadow (the second Cobra member) …

She said/He said regarding the new movie 'G.I. Joe: Rise of Cobra'
Sienna Miller Claims Her Boobs Are Fake, Her Director Disagrees

Sienna Miller is back in the goss news again but this time it has nothing to do with any philandering with the still-married Balthazar Getty OR the very-married Cillian Murphy. This time, she’s making headlines regarding her new film G.I. Joe: Rise of Cobra … imagine that. According to Sienna, she was approached by G.I. Joe director Stephen Sommers to amplify her breast region (with prosthetic breast enhancers that she described as looking like a couple of “chicken fillets”) so that she could more fully fill out her skin-tight Baroness costume, allegedly telling her “I like girls with big boobs”. Somers is refuting that claim and tells Entertainment Weekly that he said no such thing and that everything you see of her boob region in the film is all Sienna Miller. Honestly, I kinda believe Sienna on this one:

Stephen Sommers (The Mummy) tells EW that he did not insist that Sienna Miller’s breasts be enhanced for his forthcoming action movie G.I. Joe. A widely circulated news story quotes the British actress (pictured, in G.I. Joe) as saying that, in the film, she wears, “a tight black leather outfit. And much bigger boobs…. They gave me these things that looked like chicken fillets. The director said, ‘I’m gonna be honest, I like girls with big boobs,’ and I don’t have them so we made them bigger…. At least he’s honest. But I was mildly offended.” Sommers says he was aware of the story –- we suppose you could say he kept abreast of the situation -– but claims it is untrue. “Everybody here laughed because they know I would NEVER say that to an actress,” says the filmmaker. “I guess the costume department gave her a tight fitting bra, but no one gave her rubber breasts or whatever. It is 100 percent Sienna Miller.”

HMMM. Do I believe that Stephen Somers is a misgynistic pig? No. Do I believe that he prolly insisted that Sienna’s breasts be enhanced for the film … yes, I do. G.I. Joe is marketed to young men and is based on the comic book ideal that all women have enormously plump and perky breasts at all times. I gotta say that, despite his claims to the contrary, I can absolutely believe that the “chicken fillets” were forced on Sienna Miller. After all, why in the world would she make such a claim in the first place if it weren’t true? Nothing about what she said paints her in a particularly positive light. While I do believe that Somers (or someone high up on the food chain) insisted on the amplification, I can see why he (or they) would not want a story like this to get out. It’s one of the oldest games in Hollywood — women are objectified.

In other G.I. Joe news, Somers (prolly really trying to change the subject of Sienna‘s alleged fake boobs) reveals that he was inspired by the underwater fight scene in the James Bond film Thunderball and that he put in an even more epic underwater fight scene in his new movie, saying:

“In a very contemporary way, G.I. Joe is inspired by the memory of the kind of movies I saw when I was younger. I remember being in the theater for Thunderball and the big underwater battle at the end of that movie just blew my socks off. In G.I. Joe, there’s an underwater battle under the polar icecap that’s Thunderball times 10!”

This is good news, I think. I wonder who will be fighting who underwater. I wonder if there’ll be any male enhancements featured in the film as a result. Mebbe we’ll be hearing that Channing Tatum was asked to stuff a “banana”-like thing in his tight underwater pants for effect. I can’t wait to see and make that determination for myself.

And a few posters, too!
The GI Joe Movie Gets A Title

Thanks to the industrious folks at the Dutch site Film Blog, who brought along their trusty cameras to the Cinema EXPO in Amsterdam this week, we now know that the new live-action GI Joe movie (which is set for release next year) will be titled GI Joe: Rise of Cobra. This title is prominently featured on a few new posters for the movie which were snapped at the Cinema EXPO event. Here is the poster which features Sargent Duke Hauser, played by Channing Tatum:

Woot! This poster looks great! It’s the perfect look for the live-action version of GI Joe. I’ve mentioned before my fears that a live-action movie version of the GI Joe cartoon might be disappointing but everything that I’ve seen thus far has waylaid those fears. I love the casting, I love the costuming and I love the title of the movie. After the jump, check out two more posters which feature Sienna Miller as The Baroness and Ray Park as Snake Eyes
