Filming is, apparently, still underway on the LA set of the upcoming reboot film The Amazing Spider-Man. Star Andrew Garfield, who will portray protagonist hero Peter Parker/Spider-Man in the rebooted film franchise, was spotted hanging from a safety wire as he filmed new scenes for the movie. It’s not very common to see lead actor’s do their own stunts but, well, I guess Andrew is just cool enough to be that kind of actor. Check out the fun photos below.

Actor Andrew Garfield hasn’t been spotted on the set of the upcoming reboot film The Amazing Spider-Man since the Summer but filming production is still in full swing for the superhero film … which means that Andrew‘s work as the web-slinging hero isn’t quite finished just yet. Andrew was spotted on the NYC, NY set of the film this weekend filming new scenes and from the look of his costume, it would appear that he was bizzy filming the proto-Spider-Man scenes. Before Spider-Man dons his iconic red and blue costume, Peter Parker tries out a more simplified version of the costume to try and get his bearings. Last month we got to check out the second teaser poster for the forthcoming reboot film The Amazing Spider-Man, starring Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone and others. Today we get to see a couple of very cool new promo images from the film that feature the Spider-man costume in a couple of very recognizable poses. My fave of the two photos is the one of Spidey doing the THWIP! pose. Check out the photos below.

Back in May we got our first look at the first teaser poster for the upcoming reboot film The Amazing Spider-Man and, as you may recall, it was a bit of a bore. The first Spider-Man promo photo we saw back in February was WAY more exciting. Today we get to check out the second teaser poster released for Spider-Man, unveiled at 2011 San Diego Comic-Con, and as you can see below, it’s a much better poster than the first one we got.

Last week the teaser trailer for Batman: The Dark Knight Rises leaked to the Internets (and was finally officially released yesterday) and today we have another leak. The first video teaser for the upcoming reboot film The Amazing Spider-Man has made its way online. Yesterday we got our first look at actor Andrew Garfield on the cover and in the pages of this week’s issue of Entertainment Weekly magazine in costume as Spider-Man from the upcoming reboot film The Amazing Spider-Man. The new Spider-Man reboot film, The Amazing Spider-Man, won’t be released until July 2012 but today we are getting our first look at the first teaser poster for the film … and it’s a pretty effing boring poster. As you may recall, back in February we got out first look at a promo poster for the film that showed us the new Spider-Man in action as he modeled the new costume. This teaser poster does show us what the logo for the film will look like but it does not show us anything AT ALL more of substance.

Last week we got our first look at actor Rhys Ifans on the NYC set of The Amazing Spider-Man and, as you may recall, he was completely covered from head to toe in order to cover his costume/make-up as the villainous Lizard. But you may also recall that the eye holes of Ifans‘s mask gave us a wee peek at some of his Lizard make-up (see the photos HERE). Today we get to see Rhys Ifans unmasked on the set of Spider-Man and it is now plainly clear that he will play Dr. Curt Connors/The Lizard in the film. We also get our first look at Martin Sheen in costume as Peter Parker‘s Uncle Ben. Check out the photos below.

Yesterday we saw what looks to be the first photos of Rhys Ifans (who will play The Lizard) on the NYC, NY set of the upcoming reboot film The Amazing Spider-Man. Today we get to see new photos of Spidey himself doing a bit of wire stunt work. Now, altho actor Andrew Garfield is playing Peter Parker/Spider-Man in the film, it’s very likely that the photos below are of his trained stunt double. Yesterday we saw the first photos of Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone on the NYC set of The Amazing Spider-Man and today we not only get to see more photos of Andrew and Emma on set but we also get our first look at actor Rhys Ifans in costume as the villain The Lizard. Now, Ifans is mostly covered up so as not to spoil his Lizard look but it’s clear from the make-up around his eyes that he is hiding his full Lizard costume underneath his coverings.
