Fergie Ferg & Josh Duhamel Celebrate Their Singlehood

Fiancées Fergie Ferg and Josh Duhamel hosted a co-bachelorette/bachelor party in Santa Monica, CA last night with a few of their closest friends to get the party started ahead of their upcoming nuptials which are slated to take place this weekend. Here are a couple pics of the happy couple as they made their way out of the Dakota Lounge where they played host to 75 of their intimate friends last night:

Forget keeping the boys and girls apart. Three days before her wedding, Fergie took a break from her intense bride-to-be workouts for a co-ed bachelor-bachelorette party with fiancé Josh Duhamel. The couple, who will wed in the L.A. area on Saturday, and 75 of their friends and family celebrated on Wednesday night at the newly opened Dakota Lounge in Santa Monica. The singer, a.k.a. Stacy Ferguson, 33, and Duhamel, 36, were greeted with cheers from their guests – including Fergie’s Black Eyed Peas bandmate, will.i.am – when they arrived at their candlelit party just after 9 p.m. Partygoers dined on Kobe beef sliders, tuna tartare and shrimp skewers, sipped champagne and danced to a deejayed mix of ’80s songs and newer hits. “Josh and Fergie usually spend so much time away from each other, so they wanted to make this week special and spend as much time together as possible,” says a source. “So they decided to have a joint bachelor and bachelorette party and have their friends mingle and get to know each other before the big day.” Fergie, who wore a short, sequined black dress, “is having a blast,” the source told PEOPLE during the party, which lasted past 1:30 a.m.

Aww, sounds like fun … tho, I’m not surprised. These two really do pretty much everything they can together. I was thinking about getting them THIS as a wedding gift ;) Tho the couple will wed somewhere in SoCal this weekend, it’s unclear exactly where the nuptials will take place (I understand not even the big celeb invitees [including Justin Timberlake, Shia LaBeouf and Kate Hudson] know the locale just yet). I just hope they’re able to have a fun wedding, free from drama. As much as I hate to see Joshie married off, I think Fergie will make a good wife. She can even wear her wedding ring on her eyebrow so that she never forgets to wear it :)

Fashion + Music = Woot!
Celebs Come Out For ‘Fashion Rocks’ In NYC

Celebs and musicians of all sorts made their way out to Radio City Music Hall in NYC last night to be a part of Conde Nast Media Group‘s 5th Anniversary Fashion Rocks concert event, which seeks to honor and celebrate the convergence of music and fashion. Here are a few pics from the Fashion Rocks red carpet arrivals:

Justin Timberlake, Miley Cyrus and Charlize Theron were among the celebrities who appeared at the fifth annual Fashion Rocks concert celebrating the relationship between music and fashion. They walked the red carpet Friday night at Radio City Music Hall amid a media circus angling for glamour shots of other stars including Fergie, Rihanna, Chris Brown and the “Gossip Girl” gang. Brown, the R&B heartthrob, soaked up all the attention with a smile as he showed off his dapper ensemble of a black vest and shirt, gray pants, shiny shoes and diamond stud earrings. “To be a musician and a great entertainer, you have to be a trendsetter. To be a trendsetter, you have to know fashion — and I have fun with it,” explained the singer, who later changed into khakis and a black shirt and scarf for a performance of his hit song “Forever.” The event will air Tuesday in a two-hour special on CBS. Proceeds will benefit Stand Up To Cancer, a program established by the Entertainment Industry Foundation to raise money for cancer research. Stand Up To Cancer held a live telethon that aired simultaneously on ABC, NBC and CBS on Friday night … Other performers included Timberlake, Kid Rock, Keith Urban, Duffy, the Pussycat Dolls and the Black Eyed Peas. A highlight was Timberlake and Beyonce’s sizzling duet of “Ain’t Nothing Like the Real Thing,” which channeled the soulful sound of the classic song’s original singers, Marvin Gaye and Tammi Terrell. Stars mingled and sipped cocktails backstage in the green room, where Leighton Meester of the CW teen drama “Gossip Girl” and her actor-beau Sebastian Stan hung out before she introduced Duffy’s performance of “Mercy.” Meester’s “Gossip” co-star Chace Crawford chatted up actress Hayden Panettiere, who embraced her rock-star side in a silver Ferragamo minidress and black heels. “I usually try to mix class and then really funk it out,” Panettiere said of her personal style. “It’s rock meets class. I try — not always succeed, but I try.”

Wow, this really does sound like a star-studded event … I can’t wait to check it out when it airs on Tuesday night. I understand there were some very cool performances, including one from Rihanna that I will be talking about in a bit. After the jump, check out some pics of Beyoncé, Mariah Carey, Kid Rock and others as they took to the stage last night …

The 2008 Teen Choice Awards

Last night the 2008 Teen Choice Awards infiltrated and took over the Gibson Amphitheater at Universal City in Hollywood, CA in order to honor the previous year’s stellar achievements in categories which include music, movies, sports and TV, as voted on by teens aged 13-19. As usual, all the hottest young stars came out for the event … here are a few of the folks who walked the red carpet last night:

The “It” Girls were in attendance as were the new kids on the block — members of the cast of 90210 made last night’s Teen Choice Awards their unofficial coming out party to hang with the cool kids. There are a whole slew of pics to check out from last night’s fête. After the jump, check out some pics from the show itself, some pics of the couplely couples who were in the audience, some of the winners with their surfboards and, of course, a lot of Beckhamness …

Back In The Game

At last, the LA Lakers have gotten back into the game … after losing the first two games of the NBA Finals against the Boston Celtics, the LA Lakers finally came back and won game three on their home turf at the Staples Center here in downtown LA last night. Here are a few pics of some of the many celebs who came out in support of their LA Lakers (with Donnie Walberg rooting for the Celitcs) and cheered them on to victory:

In front of a constellation of Hollywood stars, the desperate Los Angeles Lakers nearly faded into oblivion Tuesday night in Game 3 of the NBA Finals before they rallied to subdue the Boston Celtics for an 87-81 victory. Lakers guard Sasha Vujacic’s dead-eye shooting — he shot 70% from the floor, including three three-pointers — helped seal the win with a career postseason-high 20 points. Backcourt teammate Kobe Bryant led all scorers with 36 points, including a twisting floater with 38 seconds remaining … Los Angeles avoided the near-impossible roadblock of needing four consecutive triumphs. No NBA team has overcome a 3-0 lead in any playoff series (0-for-85). The Lakers, 9-0 at the Staples Center this postseason, trail the Celtics 2-1 in the best-of-seven series. Game 4 is Thursday night. “Kobe was fantastic,” said coach Doc Rivers, whose Celtics are 2-8 on the road in the playoffs. “But I thought Vujacic was the key to the game.”Now, anyone who knows me or even casually reads my blog knows that I’m a big sports person. But I do tend to perk up around Championship games, particularly when my home teams are involved. I watched a bit of the Eastern Conference Finals only to watch my beloved Detroit Pistons fall to the Boston Celtics. Now that Detroit is out of the game, I have to throw my support behind the LA Lakers since they are my adopted hometown. I’m relieved that the Lakers finally woke up and won a game … it would’ve been pretty dire had they lost last night’s game against the boys from Boston. To be fair, another major reason that I tend to pay attention to sports is the celebrity involvement (natch) and when it comes to sports celebrities, well, I don’t usually miss an appearance by David Beckham. Here are a few pics of Becks with his eldest son Brooklyn at last night’s game:

I don’t believe that Becks spent any of last night’s game ogling the Laker Girls cheerleaders (or at the very least, he wasn’t caught ogling any of the cheerleaders) … he was just there to support his adopted home team in their quest for the NBA Championship. Oh, he was also there to tout his sexy hawtness, too.I understand that the Lakers are undefeated at home … which implies that they will tie up the series with a win at home on Thursday. It’d be awesome (for me at least) to have the Detroit Red Wings win the NHL Championship and the LA Lakers win the NBA Championship all in the same year … c’mon Lakers, do it for me :)
