A lot of crazy things happen to some of our favorite superheros in the world of comic books but it is starting to sound like Spider-Man is the hero getting the most interesting action these days. Back in February, we learned that Spider-Man is joining the Fantastic Four team after the death of The Human Torch. In June, we learned that Peter Parker is being killed off in another Spider-Man comic book title. Today we learn that a character named Miles Morales is the new Spider-Man, taking over for the dead Parker. Unlike the very Caucasian Peter Parker, Miles Morales is a biracial possible gay character … which is TOO awesome for words!

Well I guess the Marvel Comics superhero group The Fantastic Four couldn’t stay down a man for long … because today we learn that after the death of The Human Torch last week, the team has a replacement member, new costumes — and a new name! As you may recall, Marvel Comics decided to kill off one of the original members of The Fantastic Four last week in the world of comic books. Today we learn that they have replaced that fallen member with a new Marvel superhero … by the name of Spider-Man.

For the past few weeks we’ve been seeing a LOT of photos from the LA set of the upcoming new Spider-Man reboot film (HERE, HERE, HERE and HERE). In all of those photos, it was presumed that a stuntman was used for all of those action scenes. Today we get to see photos of actor Andrew Garfield both IN and out of the Spider-Man costume filming new scenes … and BOY does he look good ;)

Another day, another set of photo and video footage from the downtown LA set of the new as-yet-untitled Spider-Man reboot film. Previously, we’ve seen photos of Spidey running in the streets of SoCal … then we saw him flying above the streets of SoCal. Today we get to see him chillin’ in between takes on the streets of SoCal.

Last week we got a close-up look at the new Spider-Man costume in photos snapped on the streets of SoCal where the new reboot movie is begin filmed. Today we get to see new photos from the SoCal Spider-Man set that show the hero flying thru the air with the greatest of ease … as well as state-of-the-art stunt equipment.

Earlier this week we got to see some photos from the SoCal set of the new Spider-Man reboot film and we got to see the new version of Spider-Man in action. Today we get to take a closer look at the new costume and speculate what changes are in store for the new webslinger. It appears that the new Spider-Man costume is outfit with mechanical webslingers on his wrists. Does this mean he will not be able to shoot webs directly from his wrists?

Yesterday we got to check out a couple of pretty sweet fan-shot photos of the upcoming Spider-Man reboot film being filmed in downtown LA and today not only do we get to see a couple more photos but we also get to see a bit of video as well. Spider-Man has invaded LA, y’all!!

While the troubled Broadway musical Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark tries to get back on track in the wake of all of the calamities that have befallen the production, things are moving ahead nicely on the set of the new Spider-Man reboot film. Today we get our first look at lead actor Andrew Garfield (of The Social Network) in character as Peter Parker.
