Halloween II, the horror film remake helmed by rocker/director Rob Zombie, had its Los Angeles premiere at Grauman’s Chinese Theater in Hollywood, CA last night. As you might expect, the event was a star-studded affair that managed to bring out all the biggest names in Hollywood … or, mebbe just the cast of the movie (including Scout Taylor-Compton, Danielle Harris and Zombie wife Sheri Moon) and a few extra folks like Shar Jackson and her eldest daughter Cassie (who was not fathered by Kevin Federline, in case you were wondering). To be completely honest, I think the sight of Rob Zombie‘s patchwork pants are the scariest thing I think I have ever laid my eyes on … one hopes that his remake of this classic horror film is just as scary. Somehow, I doubt it. Nonetheless, I am very excited to see the film anyways. I LOVE the original Halloween and Halloween II and while Zombie‘s remake of Halloween didn’t necessarily wow me, I am holding out hope that he stepped up his game for Halloween II. The film opens in theaters this Friday … just in time for Halloween but 2 months early. Yeah, I dunno why either … but there you have it. Who’s gonna be there on opening day?

While perusing the cable television airwaves this AM, I stumbled upon an infomercial for the Jack LaLanne Power Juicer … and while this fact alone isn’t necessarily interesting, I was kinda surprised to learn that one of the “celebrity” endorsements featured in the infomercial came from none other than Kevin Federline‘s original babymama Shar Jackson. Here are a few screencaps from Shar‘s appearance on the Power Juicer infomercial that is airing on various cable networks in the off hours of programming:

So while the father of her children is posing on magazine covers with his children from his very famous ex-wife Britney Spears, Shar must resort to shilling for juice machines on cable TV infomercials. Isn’t it funny how life works sometimes?
