Filming production is in full swing on the Hawaiian set of Hawaii Five-0 which returns with its second season this Fall. In addition to a cute photo of stars Alex O’Loughlin and Scott Caan holding hands (awwww!), a photo has surfaced on Twitter that shows the return of a villain character played by a Buffyverse alum that we all know and love. Check out the photos below.

Last Wednesday we learned that Buffyverse album James Marsters has joined the cast of the revamped CBS TV series Hawaii Five-0 as the arch villain in the pilot episode and today we get to meet the rest of the cast of Five-0. Alex O’Loughlin plays the lead character Steve McGarrett while Scott Caan plays his faithful partner Danny Danno Williams (who will be doing all of the “booking” on the show). Lost alum Daniel Dae Kim has been cast as Detective Chin Ho Kelly and Battlestar Galactica‘s Grace Park will play Kono Kalakaua. As I said before, I vaguely remember this show when it was on the air in re-runs when I was little but I somehow doubt this new version will resemble the original series in any way but the character names. I have to say that I like this cast tho … this group of actors could be the right formula for CBS to make a hit out of this show again. Here are a few pics of hunky hottie Scott Caan out for a morning surf in Malibu, CA earlier today lookin’ all kinds of insanely hawt:

And while these photos are pretty fun in and of themselves, there’s more to be had … much more. Scott, like any serious surfer, waited until he got to the beach to get out of his civilian clothes and squeeze into his rubber wetsuit. To do so, he tried the famous towel-wrapped-around-the-waist-for-privacy tactic to cover up his naughty bits while he undressed and redressed. Unfortch for Scott (and very fortch for us), he wasn’t entirely successful in covering up his naughties.
