Funnygal Sarah Silverman and actress Michelle Williams were spotted filming scenes in a public pool in Toronto, Ontario this week for a new movie called Take This Waltz. The ladies slipped into some interesting yet colorful swimwear for the scene and got wet and wild together:

Last night Brad Pitt, Diane Kruger, Eli Roth and others were joined by family and friends at the Los Angeles premiere of their new film Inglourious Basterds at Grauman’s Chinese Theater in Hollywood, CA. Angelina Jolie held court with Pitt and managed to show-off a few new tattoos on her person. Here are a few pics from last night’s movie premiere:

Angelina Jolie is never anything but slim and toned. But she looked impossibly slender as she joined partner Brad Pitt on the red carpet for the premiere of his new film Inglourious Basterds last night. The 34-year-old actress wore an unforgiving leather mini dress, which clung to her fragile frame as she stood alongside tanned and healthy-looking Brad. Angelina also showed off new additions to her tattoo collection – swirls around the existing body art on her arms. Last night was Brad and Angelina’s first public appearance since they walked the red carpet at Cannes in May. The couple, whose relationship has been the subject of repeated rumours in recent months, made a show of togetherness as they embraced on the red carpet. But while Angelina was greeting everyone with a large Hollywood smile, Brad looked less comfortable. Of course, it may well have been the stress of weeks of heavy promotional duties for his new movie, which have seen him repeatedly away from his family. While Brad was promoting the film Angelina remained at home with Maddox, 8, Pax, 5, Zahara, 4, Shiloh, 3, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 1. But, ever the professional, Brad patiently signed autographs for the huge crowds of fans waiting for him and Angelina. He then led the mother of his six children through the crowd by her arm, his teeth set as he negotiated the busy red carpet.

As you may already be well aware, Inglourious Basterds is the American-Hunting-Nazi film that was directed by Quentin Tarantino and opens in theaters on August 21. Hollywood is really having a field day with all that WWII era Nazi films these days so hopefully this one will be the last … at least for a while. To be honest, my interest level in this film was much higher when it was first announced last October but it has since waned in the past few months. I think the trailers that feature Brad Pitt speaking in that horrid Southern drawl is what has been turning me off. David has mentioned that he is very much interested in seeing this film so we’ll prolly end up seeing it after all. I can’t remember the last Brad Pitt movie that I liked … mebbe this will be the one.

The 13th Annual Webby Awards were handed out at Cipriani Wall Street in NYC last night and a who’s who of celebs and tech geeks came out for nerdly event. Each year, the Webby Awards are handed out by The International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences and honor excellence on the Internet — including websites, interactive advertising, online film & video and mobile web sites. The man of the hour this year was Trent Reznor of the very Internet-friendly band Nine Inch Nails who was honored at this year’s Webby Awards as the Artist of the Year. Here is Trent with his beautiful fiancée Mariqueen Maandig all dolled up in suit and tie on the red carpet along with other celebs who came out for the event:

It is the awards show where techies are greeted like rock stars. Described by some as the Oscars of the Web, the Webby Awards pay homage to the best of the Internet. From videos that went viral to the stars who graced them, the 13th annual Webby Awards on Monday night gave online pioneers their due respect in the form of a trophy one recipient described as a “bedspring.” Known for its unorthodox format, the irreverent awards ceremony featured its traditional five-word speeches and videos showcasing the “raw talent” found only online. Seth Meyers of NBC’s “Saturday Night Live” hosted the show, and this year’s recipients reflected the diverse Internet audience. Honorees included Nine Inch Nails frontman Trent Reznor for artist of the year and The Huffington Post’s Arianna Huffington, who won for best political blog. Huffington’s speech was a tad defensive: “I didn’t kill newspapers, OK?” This year’s show unveiled a new category, Webby for Internet famous, to honor those who had created an online following. There were also those whose fame segued from television to the Web, such as Lisa Kudrow, who won for her role as an online therapist in “Web Therapy” and Sarah Silverman for “The Great Schlep” and “I’m F**king Matt Damon.” Tweeting his way to the top of the pack was Biz Stone, who garnered the Webby for breakout of the year as co-creator of the Internet phenom, the micro-blogging site Twitter. There were no upsets among the categories as they had been announced before Monday’s star-studded gala at Wall Street’s Cipriani. But there were some surprises, such as when recipient Richard Buschman uttered his five-word speech: “Erna, will you marry me?” No one was more surprised than Buschman’s fiancée, Erna Bomers, who had been told to come to film the speech so her boyfriend could share it with his co-workers. Actress Cameron Diaz presented a Webby to late-night talk-show host Jimmy Fallon for person of the year. His speech? “Thank God, Conan got promoted.” Of course, Fallon was referring to Conan O’Brien, who moved over to “The Tonight Show,” allowing Fallon to air. And the man whom the Webbys credit for creating the Worldwide Web, Sir Tim Berners-Lee, was honored with a Lifetime Achievement Award by journalist Charlie Rose. Berners-Lee received the only standing ovation of the evening and wrapped up the hope for the Internet’s future with this statement: “Free. Open. Keep one Web.”

Last July we learned that comics Sarah Silverman and Jimmy Kimmel decided to end their 5 year relationship only to reconcile and start up their romance later last year in October. Since then, it was presumed that the couple were happily reattached but, alas, it turns out that they were not … as a result, the couple have reportedly decided to break-up again … they are dunzo, y’all!

A second chance at love didn’t work. Despite a reconciliation that gave them both cause for laughs, late-night talk-show host Jimmy Kimmel, 41, and comedian Sarah Silverman, 38, have split, a source confirms to PEOPLE. No reason was revealed for their second breakup. The funny duo dated for five years before they called it quits last July. But they rekindled their relationship just a few months later. “They’re taking it slow,” a source told PEOPLE last fall. “They’re on the road back to being together.” The pair even managed to poke fun of their first split on Jimmy Kimmel Live! last October when she was a guest and they exchanged awkward silences and quips like, “Did you make sweet love to anyone while we were apart?”

This is so sad. Didn’t it really seem as if Sarah and Jimmy were made for one another? I was really bummed when the couple broke up last year and was relieved that they decided to give their relationship another go … but if they really have broken up again, there’s prolly a very good reason. Sad news … but I’m not really holding out for a third try. Something tells me that this dunzo is the last one for the pair.

While People magazine is honoring its annual list of the Sexiest Men Alive today, GQ magazine has compiled its own list of men to honor as well. Both male and female celebs made their way out to the Chateau Marmont in LA, CA last night to enjoy GQ magazine’s 2008 Men Of The Year Party — bestowing top honors to Leonardo DiCaprio and John Malcovich. Actors Leonardo DiCaprio and John Malkovich walked away with top awards at this year’s GQ Men of the Year ceremony. The Body Of Lies star picked up the Leading Man Trophy, while Malkovich was named Mad Genius of the Year at the men’s magazine awards ceremony in Los Angeles on Tuesday. President-elect Barack Obama was given the nod as Game Changer of the Year, actor Jon Hamm was handed the Breakout award and Olympic champion Michael Phelps took home the ultimate accolade for Golden Boy of the Year. The glittering party attracted some of Hollywood’s brightest male stars, including DiCaprio, Zac Efron, Adam Brody and Aaron Eckhart. And although the annual celebration recognizes leading men, the ladies were out in full force too, with Megan Fox, Rosario Dawson and Elisha Cuthbert turning out for the red carpet bash. Early last week we learned that comedians Sarah Silverman and Jimmy Kimmel appear to have reignited their failed relationship in recent weeks. Friends of the couple say that Sarah and Jimmy had been “taking things slow” since they split in July and then were snapped attending Howard Stern and Beth Ostrosky‘s wedding in NYC together a couple of weekends ago. I’m not entirely sure when these photos were shot but I hope they were snapped in the past few weeks. I really like these two as a couple … they compliment one another so well and they look so cute together. I was really bummed when they announced they had called it quits but these photos give me renewed hope that love will flourish for the two of them.

Yay! There is great and hopeful news to report this afternoon … People magazine is claiming that Sarah Silverman and Jimmy Kimmel (who broke off their relationship over the summer) are “back on”. The couple attended the NYC wedding of Howard Stern and Beth Ostrosky this past weekend and the mag quotes a source close to the couple who says that they are working on their romantic reconciliation by “taking it slow”. Jimmy Kimmel and Sarah Silverman are back together. “They’re taking it slow,” says a source. “They’re on the road back to being together again.” The comedians, who ended their five-year relationship in July, have recently been spotted on dates on both coasts. On Sept. 28, Kimmel, 40, and Silverman, 37, enjoyed a laughter-filled dinner together at L.A.’s Pattaya Thai Restaurant, says a source, and left holding hands. Less than a week later, they attended pal Howard Stern’s Oct. 3 wedding at New York City’s Le Cirque restaurant, where Kimmel was spotted wrapping his arms around Silverman’s waist and playfully grabbing her backside in plain view of photographers. Reps for the comedians had no comment.

Oh yeah, this is really awesome news … I really, really like Sarah and Jimmy together. They make such a great couple and I always felt that they were well-suited for one another. I really hope they each stay committed to making it work cuz I’m really rooting for these two. Don’t you just love these guys together?

Woot! Kathy Griffin has done it again! Sarah Silverman has done it … er, for the first time! Both funny ladies walked away from the 60th Primetime Creative Arts Emmy Awards which was held at the Nokia Theatre in downtown Los Angeles, CA last night. Kathy won for her outstanding work on her hit Bravo reality TV show Kathy Griffin: My Life on the D-List and Sarah won for her rousing music video I’m Fucking Matt Damon. Here are pics of the lovely ladies with their shiny new trophies in the press room at last night’s Creative Emmy Awards:

Kathy Griffin might need to consider adding another member to her staff just to carry around her Emmy awards. The comedian won her second Emmy on Saturday, picking up the trophy for best reality program for her Bravo hit My Life On the D-List. And, true to form, she delivered another memorable – and bleepable – acceptance speech. “Well, well, well! Here we go again, f—–ers,” Griffin said, gamely accepting the award at the Creative Arts Emmys held at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles. “I’m not going to tell anyone to suck it,” she said, referencing her speech from 2007 in which she infamously told Jesus to “suck it.” “I would make love to this thing if I could.” … Griffin was also nominated for a stand up comedy special, though she lost the award to Don Rickles, with whom she is presenting an award at the Primetime Emmys next weekend. “Can you believe it? I’m in heaven,” she said of presenting with Rickles. “It’s what should have been the Obama/Hillary ticket of comedy. I’m very excited about that and being with him and standing next to him. I just love him.”

Sarah Silverman may have won an Emmy award for a song boasting of a romance with Matt Damon, but it was her ex-boyfriend, Jimmy Kimmel, whom the comedian thanked from the stage. “Let’s be honest, Matt Damon had very little to do with this being popular,” Silverman, 37, said while accepting her award at the Creative Arts Emmys for the salty music video “I’m Fucking Matt Damon” at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles. “Thanks to the person for whom this whole video was made: Jimmy Kimmel, who broke my heart – ohh, who’ll always have a place in my heart,” Silverman continued. The video, written and recorded for Jimmy Kimmel Live nabbed two awards – best original music and lyrics and a picture-editing award – at the Saturday show … While she has not spoken at length publicly about the split, in August, Silverman made a reference to her break-up during a comedy gig at West Hollywood’s Largo at the Coronet, telling the crowd, “Did someone tell you I’m going through a hard time?” In her speech Saturday, Silverman also thanked her cowriters and joked, “this makes all the, ‘Hey, I’m fucking Matt Damon, too,’ totally worth it.” The Creative Arts Emmys air on E! Saturday Sept. 20. The Primetime Emmys air on ABC Sept. 21.

Aww … I love it. Kathy is really funny on her show, I’m glad she keeps winning. To be honest, I’m actually very surprised that Sarah won her award. I was fairly certain that the Television Academy who votes for these awards wouldn’t deem a music video titled I’m Fucking Matt Damon worthy of such a prestigious award … I guess comedy does win out in the end … and I guess the Academy isn’t as stuffy as I previously believed. Much congrats and love goes out to both Kathy and Sarah on their amazing wins! I totally believe they are both well deserved.

Jenny McCarthy and Jim Carrey played host at an event here in LA last night for Generation Rescue, a non-profit organization that was formed by parents of children who have been diagnosed with childhood neurological disorders (Autism, Asperger’s, ADHD, ADD, PDD-NOS and other learning disabilities). Jenny became involved with the organization after she discovered that her son Evan suffers from autism. Some of Jenny Mac‘s friends — including Britney Spears, the newly single Sarah Silverman and Rose McGowan — came out to lend their support for the organization. First off, what a great organization to lend your support to. So much is not known about these sorts of neurological disorders … I think it’s amazing that like-minded mothers got together to take an active step in creating awareness. I believe this is the first “non-party” event that Britney Spears has attended in many months. As you may recall, she agreed to let her ex-husband Kevin Federline have permanent physical custody of her sons Sean Preston and Jayden James earlier this week … and here she is, lending her support to charity (and lookin’ pretty hawt, I might add). I’m going to assume she had no ulterior motives for coming out to this event. In fact, I really do believe that all the celebs who came out last night did so for the right reasons. Kudos to Jenny and Jim for using their high profile celebrity to aid this cause. Color me impressed.
