The Academy Award-winning actress surfaces for the first time in 2 weeks
Sandra Bullock Comes Out Of Hiding

Sandra Bullock, who has been totally M.I.A. since the cheating scandal involving her husband Jesse James came to light, finally ventured out of her home in the Hollywood Hills to make her way out into the real world again. As you may recall, Sandra has canceled all public appearances in the past couple of weeks (starting with a scheduled appearance at the UK premiere of the film The Blind Side) and hasn’t once showed her face. Last night, she did go out in public … but she also managed to still NOT show her face:

Sandra Bullock braved a rare outing on Wednesday night- her first since the news of her husband Jesse James’ alleged infidelities hit the press. The actress, who has been laying low for the past two weeks, ducked out of her Hollywood Hills home flanked by security. “She looked dressed up, it was hard to tell but she looked pretty, as always,” an eyewitness said. “She had on makeup and a big blue hat. She was in the back of a big Mercedes.” As paparazzi vied for a clear shot, the security team shielded her from prying eyes with the help of umbrellas. Bullock was then whisked away to a Holmby Hills belonging to Gabriel Brener, chairman and CEO of Brener International Group, LLC, a private investment firm specializing in real estate, acquisitions and consolidations. It is based in Beverly Hills, Calif. After a brief visit Bullock left Brener’s home and returned to her Hollywood Hills pad … As of Tuesday, James has been holed up in sex rehab at the Sierra Tucson retreat in Arizona. RadarOnline.com exclusively learned that he is expected to be there for at least forty five days.

Ugh … I bet it felt good for Sandra to get out of the house again, even if for a little while … and even if under so much scrutiny. There have been many rumors going around regarding whether or not she will actually file for divorce from James … I, for one, hope she does. But, it’s a matter that she has to seriously consider and make a decision about on her own. I do not envy her position … but she’s a tough cookie. I know she’ll be fine. I think this first emergence is a sign that she’s finally becoming ready to re-enter the world again. I guess we’ll just have to wait and see.

Relationship Status Update
Does Sandra Bullock Consider Herself ‘Single’?

Has Sandra Bullock updated her Facebook profile to reflect that her new relationship status is single? Well … that all depends on whether or not this Facebook profile really belongs to her or not:

Despite the fact that this profile claims that it has been “verified” by Facebook, I find it very unlikely that the page belongs to or is controlled by Sandra Bullock. Chances are, this is a fake profile … but it does express what we pretty much all hope … that Sandra is ready to dump her slime-ball hubby. What do y’all think … is this really Sandra‘s Facebook profile?

Blind Sided
Sandra Bullock & Jesse James Are Dunzo!

Dang!! Talk about your blind sides … a report of infidelity on the part of Sandra Bullock‘s husband Jesse James has quickly turned to something more substantial in a very short period of time. Just days after Sandra was flying high on cloud 9 after winning her first Academy Award for Best Actress came an allegation from a tattoo model named Michelle Bombshell McGee that James cheated on his wife with McGee. Allegations like this are nothing new and shouldn’t be automatically believed … but first, Sandra decided to NOT attend the London premiere of The Blind Side this week (presumably because she didn’t want to answer questions about the allegations concerning her husband cheating on her while she was off filming this movie) and it was revealed late yesterday that Sandra moved out of the home she shared with Jesse and his children (from another woman) just before McGee‘s allegations went public. Where there’s smoke … there is usually fire. It really looks like Sandra and Jesse are dunzo:

From In Touch magazine: When Sandra Bullock thanked her bad-boy husband, Jesse James, as she accepted her best actress Oscar for The Blind Side, she may not have known that while she was away shooting the film, Jesse was carrying on a steamy affair with a tattoo model. While Jesse has had an 11-month affair, including five weeks of sex, with Michelle “Bombshell” McGee, she believed he and Sandra were no longer together. “I would never have hooked up with him if I thought he was a married man,” Michelle tells In Touch in an exclusive interview. “He gave me the impression they were separated.” For weeks, while Sandra was in Atlanta shooting The Blind Side, Michelle had sex at least once a week with the Monster Garage star. Far from a one-night stand, his relationship with Michelle was intimate and highly charged. Michelle even says she called Jesse, who didn’t wear underwear or condoms, by a special pet name, Vanilla Gorilla, because he was so “well-endowed.”

From the Chicago Tribune: Sandra Bullock canceled her appearance at the London premiere of “The Blind Side” days after Internet reports alleged she was having trouble in her marriage and that she had left the couple’s Southern California home. Calls and e-mails to representatives for Bullock and her husband, celebrity motorcycle builder Jesse James, weren’t immediately answered. The 45-year-old actress said in a statement by Warner Bros. UK that she cannot attend next Tuesday’s premiere for “unforeseen personal reasons.” She canceled her appearance almost two weeks after winning an Oscar for her performance in the movie. Bullock went on to apologize for canceling her commitment and to thank people for their support of the film, which has made nearly $253 million domestically. She and James were married in July 2005.

From People magazine: Sandra Bullock and Jesse James are not living under the same roof right now. The actress left the Southern California house she shares with James just days before a report of infidelity by her husband surfaced, a source tells PEOPLE.

If you add it all up … … it sounds like James might’ve been tipped off that the allegations were coming out so he told Bullock who decided to move out of their home and cancel her appearance at the UK premiere of the biggest film of her career all before McGee’s allegations went public. This is so sad. It’s such a shame that Sandra would be going thru this in her personal life right when her professional life has hit an all-time high. I guess people can’t really have it all. It remains to be seen what Sandra’s next move will be … but if this allegation of cheating is true (and it kinda smells like it is true), I find it very hard to believe that she will stay married to Jesse. Ugh … what a sad, disappointing mess ;(

Hollywood's biggest night is also 'The Hurt Locker's greatest accomplishment
The 82nd Annual Academy Awards Are Handed Out

Earlier today we learned that director Kathryn Bigelow made Oscar history last night at the 82nd Annual Academy Awards where she took home the trophies for Best Director (the first woman to do so) and Best Picture (the biggest award of the awards). But, there were other folks at the Oscars last night … some of them won Oscars of the their own, many of them didn’t … but that’s the name of the game. Here are a few photos from the red carpet arrivals:

As you can see, Gabourey Sidibe wore a lovely blue dress … in fact, all of the women from Precious who appeared at the Academy Awards last night wore blue dresses because it was the color that actress Hattie McDaniel (the first African-American woman to win an Oscar) wore when she collected her Best Supporting Actress award for Gone with the Wind in 1939. Meryl Streep wore a lovely white dress … which was designed by Project Runway contestant Chris March (who is usually known for his outlandish costume designs — usually worn by drag queens — rather than his stylish fashion designs). The red carpet, as usual, had its hits and misses but the folks presented here looked mighty fine, I thought.

After the jump, check out a few photos of some of the happy Oscar winners in the Academy Awards press room last night (posing with their trophies), read a run-down of all the highlights from last night’s show and find out what I thought of the 82nd Academy Awards telecast …

Sandra Bullock, 'Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen' "win" big!
The 2010 Golden Raspberry Awards Are Handed Out

Today is the big day when Hollywood throws its biggest party of the year in order to honor the best of the best in film … but before we get to that, let’s turn our attention to the 30th Annual Golden Raspberry Awards which were handed out last night here in Los Angeles, to honor the worst of the worst in film. As you may know, Sandra Bullock is nominated for Best Actress at the Academy Awards for her work in The Blind Side but she was also nominated (and won!) for Worst Actress at this year’s Razzie Awards for her work on All About Steve. Sandy was a total sport and made an appearance at the Razzie Awards ceremony last night to collect her award in grand style. Here, along with some deets from last night’s Razzies ceremony, are photos of Sandra Bollock collecting her award as well as a photo of writer J.D. Shapiro collecting his “lifetime achievement” award, Worst Film of the Decade, for his work on Battlefield Earth;

Sandra Bullock was crowned top of the flops at the 30th Razzie Awards here Saturday, the annual eve-of-Oscars spoof which pays homage to the very worst of Hollywood. Bullock — who could complete an unprecedented double on Sunday if she wins a best actress Oscar for her performance in “The Blind Side” — delighted guests at Los Angeles’s Barnsdall Theater by appearing to collect her award. The 45-year-old also handed out DVD copies of her offending performance in the box office flop “All About Steve” to guests. “I’ll show up again next year if you promise to watch the movie and really consider if it was the worst performance of the year,” said Bullock after receiving her “Razzie,” a plastic gold spray painted raspberry. “And if it isn’t, I’ll give back the Razzie,” added Bullock, revealing that she had cut out of a charity dinner with Hollywood powerbroker and producer Jeffrey Katzenberg to attend the awards. “Now I’ve got to get back to that event, because you know, it’s Jeffrey Katzenberg and he can basically prevent me from ever working again,” Bullock quipped. Bullock also picked up a Razzie for worst screen couple in partnership with “All About Steve” co-star Bradley Cooper. It was the first time a worst actress recipient had appeared in person to collect their Razzie since 2005, when Halle Berry walked off with the award for her performance in “Catwoman.” Elsewhere Saturday, the Razzies were spread across several films although the big winner was “Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen,” ridiculed as “overlong, over-loud and underwhelming.” The film earned a worst director Razzie for Michael Bay as well as worst screenplay and worst picture. Worst actor was awarded to Disney boy band the Jonas Brothers for their performance in “Jonas Brothers: The 3-D Concert Experience.” Worst supporting actor Razzies went to Billy Ray Cyrus for his part in “Hannah Montana: The Movie” and Sienna Miller for her part in the action film “G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra.” To mark the 30th edition of the Razzies, first held in 1980, organizers also revealed their worst under-achievers of the past decade. John Travolta’s much-lampooned Scientology-based sci-fi flick “Battlefield Earth” was crowned worst picture of the decade, while Eddie Murphy was named worst actor for a string of duds which included “Norbit” and “Meet Dave.” Socialite Paris Hilton was named worst actress for her box office flops “The Hottie and the Nottie,” “House of Wax,” and “Repo: The Genetic Opera.”

OMG … I love the Razzies!! What a fun way to “honor” the crappy films that many of us were tricked into seeing last year. While we may not be able to get our money back after we inadvertently see a stinker of a film, at least we can (at the very least) look forward to the Razzie Awards for some consolation. As usual, the Razzie Awards got the winners/losers right this year … I’m in full support of this year’s show. Much love and props goes out to Sandra Bullock and J.D. Shapiro for showing up to collect their awards … we all know their movies sucked, it’s nice to know that they acknowledge that fact as well. Congrats goes out to all the “winners”!!

'Precious' wins the biggest award of the night
The 2010 NAACP Image Awards Are Handed Out

Last night celebs made their way to the Shrine Auditorium here in Los Angeles, CA to attend the 41st annual NAACP Image Awards which annually celebrates the outstanding achievements and performances of people of color in the arts (motion picture, television, recording, and literature), as well as those individuals or groups who promote social justice through their creative endeavors. As you might expect, the amazing film Precious was the big winner of the night … and rightly so. Here are a few photos from the red carpet arrivals last night:

It was a winning night for “Precious” at the 41st NAACP Image Awards. The heart-wrenching tale of an illiterate and abused teen who finds hope in a Harlem classroom was named outstanding motion picture and outstanding independent film at Friday’s ceremony. Stars Mo’Nique and Gabourey Sidibe, screenwriter Geoffrey Fletcher and director Lee Daniels also won. Daniels excitedly accepted the best-picture prize, surrounded by his cast and fellow producers. “No one in Hollywood told me they wanted to see a movie about a 350-pound black woman with HIV,” he said. Sidibe objected, and Daniels corrected himself: “She’s not 350 pounds. This was before you were hired.” The director twice told the orchestra to stop playing him off, but Daniels was ultimately cut off as gospel duo Mary Mary took the stage and the show came to a close. Presented by the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People, the Image Awards honor diversity in the arts and outstanding achievements in film, television, music and literature. Sidibe cried as she accepted the award for outstanding actress in a motion picture for her starring turn as Precious, the overweight, twice-pregnant teen who discovers her self-worth through reading and writing. “It’s so awesome to win! I love winning,” said the Oscar nominee, who made her acting debut with this film. “I want to thank my God for ordering my steps, for everything that my life was and everything that it is now.” Fellow Oscar nominee Mo’Nique, who has swept the supporting actress prize throughout Hollywood’s awards season for her moving turn as abusive mother Mary Jones, added another trophy to her collection with the Image Award for her role in “Precious.” “For all the Mary Joneses, I love you unconditionally, baby,” she said. “For all the Preciouses, I love you unconditionally. Let’s start loving each other again.” Other winners Friday included Keri Hilson, Maxwell, “Brothers” star Daryl “Chill” Mitchell and Chris Rock. Hilson was named outstanding new artist, Maxwell won for male artist, Mitchell took the award for actor in a comedy series and Rock accepted the documentary award for his film “Good Hair.” Mitchell was moved to tears as he accepted his trophy. “As long as you all got legs, I’m going to always walk,” the wheelchair-bound actor said. Rock said he wasn’t prepared for his documentary win. “I made this movie just for black people,” he said. “I’ve seen a lot of documentaries, and I said I want the blackest movie of all time.” Tyler Perry was honored with the Chairman’s Award for his philanthropy and career achievements. Wyclef Jean received the Vanguard Award for raising funds and cultural awareness after the earthquake in Haiti. Human-rights activist Van Jones received the President’s Award. Music mogul Clarence Avant was inducted into the Image Awards Hall of Fame at the ceremony at the Shrine Auditorium, which was hosted by Anika Noni Rose and Hill Harper and broadcast live on Fox.

What a fantastic show! After the jump, check out some photos that were snapped in the press room at the NAACP Image Awards last night …

'Basterds' come out on top
The 2010 Screen Actors Guild Awards Are Handed Out

Last night members of the Screen Actors Guild made their way out to the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, CA to attend and revel in the 16th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards. As we learned earlier today, Betty White was honored at the SAG Awards last night with the Lifetime Achievement Award but there were many other awards handed out last night. Here are a few photos from the SAG Awards red carpet arrivals:

The Screen Actors Guild Awards are voted on by members of the Screen Actors Guild so, essentially, the actors themselves decide who gave the most award-winning performances of the year. Except for the Academy Awards, I believe the SAG Award is the most coveted by actors because they are given by the actors themselves. Quentin Tarantino‘s Inglourious Basterds took home the top award last night for the Best Ensemble Performance Award (Film) while Glee took home the award for Best Ensemble Performance Award (Television Comedy) and Mad Men took home the award for Best Ensemble Performance Award (Television Drama). After the jump, check out some photos from the show itself and find out who else took home trophies from the 16th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards last night

'Dexter', 'Avatar', 'Crazy Heart', 'Up' win doubles
The 2010 Golden Globes Are Handed Out

Last night the 67th Annual Golden Globe Awards were handed out in rainy SoCal at The Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, CA … and, I gotta say, the show did a pretty fantastic job with spreading the wealth to many deserved winners. No one movie or TV show ran away with all the awards … Dexter was the only TV series to win 2 awards while Avatar, Crazy Heart and Up were the only movies to win 2 awards as well (with the former film taking home the biggest movie awards of the night). Here are a few pics from the rainy red carpet arrivals last night:

I am *amazed* that the organizers of the Golden Globe Awards this year did not plan for the rain. We knew all week long that it was going to rain yesterday … hell, it even started raining early enough in the day to give folks the head’s up that they might want to plan for a wet red carpet and yet … there was no planning involved. Everyone on the red carpet, celebs and reporters alike, were just meandering around like wet lost sheep. How dreadful. Many of the celebs had to scramble to find umbrellas and people to hold their umbrella’s for them … only Mariah Carey came prepared with her very own personal valet/husband Nick Cannon who is always at the ready to hold her umbrella for her whenever she needs him. Such a good boy.

But, the show did go off without a hitch. Ricky Gervais, IMHO, wasn’t that great of a host but he did a passable job I thought. And as I mentioned earlier, I was very pleased with many of winners last night — save for just a few winners I did NOT agree with at all. After the jump, check out some photos from the show itself and find out who won and who I thought got robbed …

The 36th Annual
The 2010 People’s Choice Awards Are Handed Out

Celebrities of varying stature made their way out to the Nokia Theatre L.A. Live in downtown LA last night to attend the People’s Choice Awards which were handed out in a lavish, televised ceremony. As you may know, the PCAs are voted on by the public so the winners are chosen by the fans … which makes this awards show unique among the many others. Here are a few photos from the red carpet arrivals (where newly engaged country singer Carrie Underwood was happy to show off her new bling — again) along with some deets about who won awards last night … I understand it was a good night for vampires:

The people have chosen vampires. “The Twilight Saga,” “True Blood” and “The Vampire Diaries” all sucked up trophies Wednesday at the 36th annual People’s Choice Awards. “Twilight” won four trophies, including favorite movie, franchise and on-screen team for the dreamy trio of Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner, who also picked up the breakout male actor award. The undead HBO fable “True Blood” and the soapy supernatural CW series “The Vampire Diaries” were respectively selected as favorite TV obsession and favorite new TV drama. Other winners in categories spanning movies, TV and music included “Inglourious Basterds” as favorite independent movie and Lady Gaga as favorite pop and breakout music artist. Queen Latifah, who returned as host of the fan-favorite ceremony for the fourth consecutive year, kicked off the show at the Nokia Theatre with a jazzy name-dropping number. Stars such as Hugh Jackman, Mariah Carey, Carrie Underwood, Keith Urban, Ashton Kutcher, Taylor Swift and Ellen DeGeneres were on hand to accept their awards selected by Internet votes. “One for each of Sandra Bullock’s toes,” joked 11-time People’s Choice Awards champion DeGeneres. Other TV winners included “American Idol” as favorite competition show, “Glee” as favorite new TV comedy, Steve Carell as favorite TV comedy actor, Alyson Hannigan as favorite TV comedy actress, “The Big Bang Theory” as favorite TV comedy, “House” as favorite TV drama, Hugh Laurie as favorite TV drama actor and “Supernatural” as favorite fantasy TV show. Winners in the movie categories included Bullock as favorite movie actress, Jackman as favorite action star, “The Proposal” as favorite comedy movie and “Up” for favorite family movie. Sacha Baron Cohen, appearing as himself and not as his alter-egos Borat or Bruno, presented Johnny Depp with a special award as favorite movie actor of the decade. “The only reason that any of us are up here is because of you,” Depp told the audience. Throughout the show, Latifah appeared in spoofs of “Twilight” and “Paranormal Activity,” which featured a cameo by Cloris Leachman clad in a sexy leather ensemble. The show also featured performances by Mary J. Blige, Cobra Starship and Nicole Scherzinger, as well as debut footage from “Clash of the Titans,” “Robin Hood” and “Survivor: Heroes vs. Villains.”

It sounds like it was a fun show, unfortch I wasn’t home to watch. But you had to know that if the public was gonna be voting on the awards then the hot vampire trend going on in Hollywood these days was gonna be well-rewarded. I was very pleased with many of last night’s winners. After the jump, check out some photos from the press room of some of my fave folks who took home the pretty glass trophies …

Betty White in da HIZZZZZ
‘The Proposal’ Premieres In Hollywood

Sandra Bullock, Ryan Reynolds, the amazing Betty White and more were all on hand at the El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood, CA for the premiere of their new movie The Proposal. Sandra, who has been away from the spotlight for quite some time, is featured in the movie in a nude scene with Ryan Reynolds (OMG!!!) and — it turns out — looks pretty damn good. According to early reviews, Sandra has never looked better. Here are a few pics from the red carpet arrivals at last night’s premiere:

The buzz at the after party for the Hollywood premiere of “The Proposal” was all about Sandra Bullock. The fearlessly funny 44-year-old actress stars in that new romantic comedy opposite Ryan Reynolds, who is 11 years her junior, but in the uproarious nude scene the two share that everyone was talking about afterward, she looks almost like a teenager. A very fit teenager. So that was the talk of the wedding-reception-themed after party Monday, June 1, where Bullock snuggled close to her husband, Jesse James, while greeting friends like George Lopez and his wife Anna. Bullock chuckled when asked earlier about that very revealing nude sequence, and explained how she made it work. “Sadly, my first and last nude scene got laughs. I had to be very secure with that,” she said. “It was all about choreography. I mean, literally when you read it on the page you saw it and then you realized, ‘Okay, there’s no way to shoot this unless you’re buck naked.’ Then I went, ‘Go to the gym. Cut out the carbs.’ I’m glad that it made people laugh, but shooting it was odd.” Reynolds, who brought his mother Tammy to the shindig, also looked extremely fit, as did his “Proposal” co-star Malin Akerman, who wore a plunging satiny mini dress. Betty White, who gives a very funny performance in the film, was her typically sunny self, greeting co-stars Craig T. Nelson, Oscar Nunez, Michael Nouri, and the film’s director Anne Fletcher.

While I’m sure that Sandra looks amazing, I must admit that I’m more interested in finding out what Ryan looks like in this nude scene. I wonder how much of him we’ll get to see. OY! I have to stop wondering … my frail heart is bout to flutter right thru my ribcage and escape from my chest cavity. Trust me, tho, this is one movie that I deffo plan on seeing … if only to satisfy my growing curiosity. Oh, who am I kidding … any movie that has Betty White in it can absolutely count on getting my money. The Proposal opens on June 19 … will I see any of y’all at the theater for this one?
