Superstar DJ Samantha Ronson was spotted out and about this week … on a playdate with a friend and the friend’s little daughter. Now, it’s not uncommon to see celebs playing with kids at the park but I don’t think that we’re used to seeing Sam lookin’ all cute in playdate mode. I am used to seeing Samantha rockin’ out behind the DJ decks, smirking for the camera … but with babe in arms? It’s a new look for her … and I really like it :D

Just days after Lindsay Lohan was released from rehab back in January, she was seen in the close company of ex-girlfriend Samantha Ronson on a dinner date in Venice, CA (where both ladies live as next door neighbors). In February, Lindsay and Samantha were spotted again making a hasty exit in the wee hours of the morning from the Roosevelt Hotel in Hollywood, CA. It’s March, so L. Ron is due for another “hang out” session … and “hang out” they did in NYC, NY yesterday afternoon.

Lindsay Lohan, who is currently waiting for her next court date to determine if she is guilty of felony grand theft, seems to have reconciled with her new next door neighbor and ex-girlfriend Samantha Ronson because the ladies have been spending quite a bit of time together … including a late night date last night. Lindsay showed up in a rental car at Teddy’s nightclub at 1:30 AM (inside the Roosevelt Hotel) to attend a portion Samantha‘s DJ gig last night. At about 2:45 AM, Linds ditched her rental and left the club with Sam in her car.

Late last week we learned from Lindsay Lohan herself that she is busying herself with productive endeavors like photoshoots for Japanese magazines in order to stay away from temptation … but last weekend, L. Lo and her ex-girlfriend/new neighbor Samantha Ronson attended a birthday here in SoCal together. Apparently, the party was horror-themed and trippy light show glasses were made available for the attendees … which sounds like good, safe and harmless fun for Lindsay.

It was only a matter of time … despite what we heard about protestations to the contrary, it was really only a matter of time before we learned that ex-girlfriends and new next door neighbors Lindsay Lohan and Samantha Ronson got together to break bread. Last weekend, L. Ron reunited for a quiet dinner together in Venice, CA lookin’ about as friendly as ever. Might this be the beginning of a new relationship?

Yesterday, before she made her first post-rehab public appearance at the Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills, CA, we learned the odd news that Lindsay Lohan inadvertently moved in next door to her ex-girlfriend Samantha Ronson. According to Sam, Lindsay‘s move next door was unplanned by her … and today we learn that Lindsay is claiming the same thing. L. Lo swears that her moving in next door to Samantha was a total accidental coincidence. Can you believe?

Due to conflicting reports as to whether or not Lindsay Lohan is actually out of rehab right now, we aren’t entirely sure where in the world the troubled starlet is at the moment. I, personally, think that she is holed up in a hotel somewhere but the fact that she has not been spotted in the wild leads me to believe that she may actually still be in rehab. Even tho we don’t where where she is, I can tell you where her personal belongings are … in her new Venice, CA swanky beachfront apartment. Her belongings were moved from her old Hollywood home to her new Venice home yesterday … and you will NEVER guess who her new next door celebrity neighbor is.

It’s been a week since we first learned that the marriage between Christina Aguilera and Jordan Bratman is dunzo and in that time rumors have been flying around over what was the cause of the split. One particularly popular rumor is that Xtina‘s marriage to Jordy couldn’t survive her alleged cheating … particularly with other women. Of course, none of those rumors have been confirmed … so it’s all pretty much hearsay. Today, a new report from the TMZ offshoot website TooFab is claiming that Xtina‘s close relationship (whatever that means) with Samantha Ronson is at least partly to blame for the divorce … because Jordan was jealous of Sam:

Following Christina Aguilera’s Oct. 14 divorce filing from music producer Jordan Bratman, 33, speculation has run rampant as to what led to the split. It seems that a major factor was the 29-year-old singer’s increasingly close, emotional friendship with deejay (and Lindsay Lohan’s ex) Samantha Ronson, 33, a source tells TooFab. “Christina’s been friends with Sam for a while, like they all went to Cabo in September with Nicole Richie, but they were hanging out a lot more in recent months, and they created a new posse of girls that Christina hung out with, so it started to be really frustrating for Jordan, that she had this relationship with these girls, but particularly this close one with Sam,” the source tells TooFab. “Jordan was feeling less than a man. It seemed like she was more interested in hanging out with Sam than him. This had been going on for several months.” As an aside, the source tells TooFab that Ronson’s ex, Lindsay Lohan, was also unnerved by her relationship with Aguilera, 29. “It caused a lot of problems with Lohan and Sam. Before [Lohan] went into rehab, she was really frustrated with her relationship with Sam because of the Aguilera thing. She was extremely jealous.”

I find it a bit puzzling that people are so quick to assume that something romantic is going on between Xtina and Sam just because they like to hang out. The implication is that just because Samantha is gay then every woman she hangs out with she must be sexually involved with? No. I’m not saying that there is nothing romantic going on between them, I’m just saying that the assumptions being made are totally ridiculous. In the end, whatever relationship Xtina has with Samantha is beside the point. Xtina and Jordy‘s relationship fell apart because of their own personal issues. Whether or not Xtina and Sam are good friends or goooood friends is nobody’s business but their own. And let’s remember, these rumors and reports are all based on nameless sources … all of it should be taken with a huge grain of salt.

Birthday Lurve goes out to Nicole Richie today as she celebrates her 29th birthday. Nicole and a few of her closest BFFs, including superstar DJ Samantha Ronson and singer Christina Aguilera, have made their way down to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico for an extended celebration this week … which is where the ladies will be celebrating today:

Nicole Richie made sure to celebrate the final year of her twenties with a bang, by flying down to Mexico with her celebrity friends. As she turned 29 today, Richie partied with pals Christina Aguilera and Lindsay Lohan’s on-off lover Samantha Ronson. But the bash in Cabo wasn’t as wild as some of her previous parties and the mother-of-two looked to be having a relaxing trip by the beach. And her own birthday came just a couple of weeks after her son Sparrow’s first birthday, which she and partner Joel Madden celebrated at home with around 50 guests. Despite having had a wild reputation in the past for her partying and arrest for possession of illegal substances, these days Richie is more likely to be found spending time with Madden, Sparrow and their daughter Harlow, two. On the beach, the style icon hid her bikini body under a sheer purple kaftan. While fellow mother Christina Aguilera was barely recognisable in purple track pants, oversized sunglasses and a low riding hat … And Sam Ronson also dressed down for the casual occasion in baggy jeans and a loose red T-shirt.

It has been suggested that this summit of Nicole‘s female BFFs is actually a secret bachelorette party for a possible upcoming wedding (which, very conveniently, could be masked under the guise of Nicole‘s 29th birthday) but there has been no official word that this is actually the case. I would be remiss if I didn’t express my personal belief that it is quite possible that this holiday in Cabo is serving more than one purpose … but, with that being said, I think it’s important to focus on Nicole‘s birthday today and worry about the other speculation for another day. Let’s send all of our Birthday Lurve to Nicole today and our very best wishes for a great celebration in Mexico … no matter what the ladies may be celebrating ;)

Lindsay Lohan, the artist currently known as Inmate #2409752, had her yesterday brightened a bit by a group of visitors who came to spend time with her at her current home at Century Regional Detention Facility in Lynwood, CA. While I’m pretty sure that #2409752 was prolly MORE excited by the load of snacks and packages she received the day prior, I’ll bet she was happy to spend time with her mother Dina Lohan, her sister Aliana Ali Lohan and her ex-girlfriend and current BFF Samantha Ronson:

As you can see, Mama Dina brightened up considerably when she realized she was being photographed (much like she did last week when she visited then) … Ali, as usual, seemed to shun the attention and Samantha was uncharacteristically smiley. Despite the fact that father Michael Lohan penned an atrociously hideous song for his daughter, he was not allowed in to see Ms. Lohan. I believe yesterday’s visit was the last family visit for Inmate #2409752 before she gets sprung this weekend. Her lawyer, Shawn Chapman Holley, will likely be visiting L. Lo this weekend and then … she’s out. It’s hard to believe that it’s already been almost 2 weeks of Lindsay in jail … where does the time go?
