‘Adventureland’ Premieres

Step right up
Tuesday, March 17th, 2009

Apparently, actress Kristen Stewart is interested in more than just lurvin’ up on hot vampires these days … as is evident from her new movie, Adventureland, she’s also into hangin’ out with interesting folks at local amusement parks. Here are a few photos from last night’s LA premiere at Mann’s Chinese 6 Theater here in Hollywood, CA of K. Stew, Ryan Reynolds, SNL’s Bill Hader and the very pale pallored Kat Dennings on the red carpet:

I *just* saw the trailer for this film for the first time this week and really had zero interest in seeing it … until I found out that Kristen Stewart is in it. Honestly, it’s not so much that I think her acting skills will make the film but I’m really interested in seeing her in a comedy. As you may also know, I’m also interested in seeing Robert Pattinson’s new film Little Ashes (mainly for the man-on-man nekkidness) to compare his performance in that film to his performance in Twilight. I’m not really sure why but I am really intrigued by seeing these young actors in other movies. It’s a good thing that Ryan Reynolds is in the film cuz now they can count on my $12 at the box office for sure. Does this film hold any fascination for any of y’all?

Ryan Reynolds Does ‘Men’s Health’ Magazine

Unfortch, he's wearing clothes. Boo.
Thursday, February 5th, 2009

Ryan Reynolds, husband of Scarlett Johansson and all-around hottie, is featured on the cover and in the pages of the new issue of Men’s Health magazine. Folks familiar with Men’s Health know that the dudes featured in the mag’s pages are usually half-to-mostly nekkid … sadly, that is not the case with these new pics of Ryan. Check out these hot, yet, fully clothed photos of Ryan Reynolds:

Altho the man is wearing clothing covering every part of his body (damnit) he does look very handsome in his attire. The good news is that that this issue of Men’s Health has two covers … and Ryan is featured on both. After the jump, check out the other cover of Men’s Health magazine that features Ryan Reynolds and a couple extra photos from insde the mag …

Ryan Reynolds Gets Bizzy In The Gym

MMMMMMMMM
Monday, January 26th, 2009

Hugh Jackman wasn’t the only X-Men Origins: Wolverine star in Vancouver, Canada recently for reshoots … his co-star Ryan Reynolds (who plays Wade Wilson/Deadpool) was also spotted in town. Here are a few HAWT pics of Ryan workin’ out his hawt bod at a gym in Vancouver last Thursday:

Seriously, if there is ONE guy to rival Hugh Jackman’s hawtness, it’s Ryan Reynolds. He is really workin’ that tank top shirt right. Those arms! I have to say that I really do commend Ryan for all his hard work. His commitment to staying physically fit is really appreciated by me and I’m pretty sure most of you Pink readers out there. We’ve only seen one promo pic from Wolverine but judging by that pic alone, Ryan is gonna look good in his Deadpool costume. I can’t wait to see more … hopefully with him wearing a lot less ;)

Hugh Jackman Pens A Letter To ‘Wolverine’ Fans

"WOLVERINE will be badass and hopefully meet all of your expectations"
Monday, January 19th, 2009

Hugh Jackman reads blogs, apparently. After a few worrisome comments were published in the venerated movie blog Ain’t It Cool News, Hugh sent an email (and a hawt promo pic) to the folks at Ain’t It Cool that tried to put fans’ fears to rest and explain why some scenes had to be reshot for the upcoming movie X-Men Origins: Wolverine. Here is the full text of Hugh’s letter along with the kickass promo pic of some of the X-Men O.G.s (ie. original gangstas) that will be featured alongside Hugh’s Wolverine in the new movie:

Hey Mate- Would you mind posting this? Thank you for your support! HJ

Hey everyone -

It’s Hugh Jackman, sending this note from freezing Vancouver. I have read a lot of your online comments regarding the footage that we are currently shooting and I share your passion for the Wolverine character and the movie – I owe it all to you guys!

I wanted to reach out and let you know that due to scheduling conflicts with certain cast members and location/weather considerations, we had to wait until now to shoot a couple of scenes. Please rest assured that WOLVERINE will be badass and hopefully meet all of your expectations. I am stoked by the positive response to the teaser, which clearly reflects the tone and scope of the film. If you like that, we’ve got much more in store!

In the meantime, here’s an exclusive shot of some characters you may recognize…

Cheers,

Hugh

Um, HOLY SHIZZ! Can you imagine getting an email from Hugh Jackman? Lordy, I think I’d die … but I’m totes digressing. I think it is really smart of Hugh Jackman to try and nip speculation on the film’s reshoots as soon as possible. Once bad buzz gets going on the Internets, it’s very difficult to undo the damage. I’m not sure that his explanatory email will satisfy all concerns by some of the fans but I think it’ll help some. It’s really very cool of him to to send off an email to try and address fans directly. The photo that came along with the email is pretty sick … it features from left to right: Wade Wilson/Deadpool (Ryan Reynolds), Remy LeBeau/Gambit (Taylor Kitsch), Logan/Wolverine (Hugh Jackman), Victor Creed/Sabretooth (Liev Schreiber) and Silver Fox (Lynn Collins). Reshoots or not, the film opens in theaters on May 1. I’m already ready. Personally, I have no doubt that the film will be as “badass” as Hugh promises.

Ryan Reynolds Officially Becomes A Marathon Man

Calls experience "incredible"
Monday, November 3rd, 2008

Yesterday we saw a couple of pics of Ryan Reynolds as he was running in the famed New York Marathon and today we get to see his hotness just as he crossed the finish line — he managed to finish the marathon race in 3 hours and 50 minutes. Amazingly, Ryan was up for talking to reporters after his grueling run and gave much moral support credit to Michael J. Fox who he saw in the crowd cheering him on (Ryan ran for Team Fox which used the marathon to raise funds for Parkinson’s Disease research):

Mission accomplished! Ryan Reynolds completed the ING New York City Marathon on Sunday – and lived to tell about it. “I’m still standing. I’m very excited about that,” he told reporters after crossing the finish line in 3 hours and 50 minutes, faster than he anticipated. “It was an incredible experience.” Reynolds says in the last leg of the race, he was motivated to keep going by one special spectator. “When I saw Michael J. Fox on Fifth Avenue, I gained about 15 pounds in goose bumps,” said Reynolds. “It kind of pushed me through the last six miles or so.” Reynolds ran for Team Fox in honor of his father, Jim Reynolds, who has suffered from Parkinson’s Disease for the past 15 years. “[During the race] I thought a lot about my father and Michael and the 500,000 other people afflicted with this awful disease in the United States alone. I ran for those who can’t,” Reynolds told PEOPLE. Reynolds’s mother Tammy and brother Terry greeted him with hugs at the finish line in Central Park.

The New York Daily News managed to video their interview with Ryan Reynolds (and others) at the marathon finish line. After the jump, check it out …

Ryan Reynolds Runs The New York Marathon

Calls himself a "running joke", manages to finish the run in under 4 hours
Sunday, November 2nd, 2008

Yesterday we saw a few photos of Ryan Reynolds talking to members of the media at a press conference ahead of today’s New York Marathon run … and today we have a couple pics of the man himself in action. Sweat dripping, arms pumping … Ryan sure does make runnin’ look gooood:

I understand that Ryan, who was numbered 14778, managed to complete the 26.2 mile run with a final time of 3:50:22. Sounds like a respectable time to me … and if you also consider that the man looked hawt while running this marathon, well, it sounds like a win-win situation to me. It’s unclear just how much money Ryan managed to raise on behalf of Team Fox (named for Michael J. Fox which seeks to raise funds for Parkinson’s Disease research) but I’m sure he managed to pull in some much needed funds. Well done, Ryan … we all knew you could do it! Woot!

Ryan Reynolds Talks NY Marathon

Run, baby, run
Saturday, November 1st, 2008

Newlywed Ryan Reynolds, who recently got hitched to his ladylove Scarlett Johansson in a supersecret wedding in Canada in September, was on hand at Tavern on the Green in NYC yesterday to answer questions at a press conference ahead of tomorrow’s 2008 ING New York City Marathon. At yesterday’s press event, Ryan talked about why he was running in the race this year for the first time but, more importantly, was lookin’ all kids of hawt while doing so:

Among the 40,000 expected to pound the New York City Marathon’s 26.2 miles of pavement tomorrow is “Mr. Scarlett Johansson.” Actor Ryan Reynolds, a newlywed since September, is in his first marathon to raise $1 million for Team Fox’s research into Parkinson’s disease, which afflicts his dad. Reynolds called the race “26.2 miles of physical humiliation and searing psychic pain” and training for it “the purest form of hell I could ever imagine.” But despite recent bronchitis and some injuries, he waxed confident, what with Johansson among the cheering throng. “Who knows? I could be a head, a neck and a stump when I finish,” he said.

Kudos goes out to Ryan for taking on such a Herculean task like this, especially since he’s never done it before. I can’t even imagine coming close to pretending to partake in a 26+ mile run … or walk for that matter. I suspect that, with Scarlett cheering him on, Ryan will put for this best effort to help raise funds for his charity of choice. Good luck, Ryan … we’ll be cheering you on!
