Here are a couple photos of Ryan loading in some band gear into the venue upon arrival yesterday afternoon:


Well, well … ain’t that a nice side of Mr. Gosling that we don’t get to see nearly enough? Previously we’ve seen photos of Ryan loading his own equipment here in SoCal where the band rehearsed for this tour so I’m not surprised that he is acting as his own roadie on tour. Dead Man’s Bones will play 2 shows at Schubas Tavern in Chicago, IL tonight … and will play here in LA on October 30 and 31st! My guess is that the band will utilize the marionette setting of the venue to their maximum advantage when they perform there in concert. DMB will be performing in all sorts of interesting and intimate venues across the country, it wouldn’t surprise me at all if each show as tailored for the individual venues they play. I am really excited to hear what Dead Man’s Bones sounds like when their album drops next month but I’m even more anxious to see them live in concert.

When last we saw photos of Mr. Gosling, he was working hard at rehearsals for his band Dead Man’s Bones who are preparing to hit the road for their first-ever US (and Canada) tour … today we get to see Ryan making his exit from the gym yesterday, clearly happy to show off his bare arms:


Le sigh. Now that Jake Gyllenhaal has saddled himself in happy bliss with Reese Witherspoon, he has lost some of his luster in mine eye … I think Ryan Gosling makes a nice replacement for the Le Sigh category, don’t you think? I suspect Ryan is planning to stay in tip top shape for his coming US tour … and for that I say, Woot!!

Firstly, I’m still very excited for this new tour by Dead Man’s Bones but I’m even more excited by the site of Ryan carting his own equipment in the blistering SoCal sun ;) While I’m sure Ryan would have no trouble finding someone to be roadie for him, I think I much prefer seeing him do all the hard work himself … I mean, right?

That said, I’m not too keen on seeing photos of him smoochin’ up on Ms. Williams. It seems … unfair, no? I can’t say that I place the blame on her, tho. Even tho I know these injuries are fake I still can’t help but feel bad for him. A purdy face like Ryan’s should never be marred in this way. I love that he posed for fun pics with little kids, it only makes his hawtness more … hawt! Even with all of this make-up, he still looks great … don’t you think?
