On Monday we got our first look at 16 castmembers from the upcoming season of Survivor: Redemption Island. Today we learn that Survivor alums Rob Mariano and Russell Hantz join the cast as the 17th and 18th castmembers … confirming rumors that the two popular Survivor stars would be coming back for redemption.

And The Winner Of ‘Survivor: Heroes Vs. Villains’ Is . . .

Last night, CBS aired the 20th season finale of Survivor and crowned their latest $1 million dollar winning sole survivor. As you may recall, back in January we learned that this season of Survivor was a Heroes vs. Villains match-up which was cast of some of our most beloved and most reviled Survivor contestants of all time. The 20th season of Survivor was, IMHO, one of the most entertaining seasons to watch … and last night, the big winner was crowned:

I realize that some of you Survivor fans may not have been able to watch the show live last night and may not yet know who won so I’ll keep the reveal behind the cut. Going into the finale ep, the final five players were Colby Donaldson (who was eliminated at the start of last night’s ep), Jerri Manthey, Sandra Diaz-Twine, Parvati Shallow and Russell Hantz which was whittled down to the final 3 … and then the big winner was, well, you’ll see. This season’s live finale aftershow was held at the Ed Sullivan Theatre in NYC, NY and made for some deliciously satisfying television — at least for me. And The Winner Of ‘Survivor: Samoa’ Is . . .

Last night the 19th season finale of Survivor aired on CBS and a new Sole Survivor was crowned by a jury of his/her peers. In what was, yet again, a much talked about season of gameplay, Survivor managed to put on a show that was full of backstabbing, conniving, lying and other such unsavory behavior … meaning it was another successful season of gameplay — well, at least for one player:
