After being photographed repeatedly with a topless and very amorous Sienna Miller while on holiday in Italy last week and after Mrs. Getty revealed that she was publicly “humiliated” by those photos, Brothers & Sisters star Balthazar Getty (who has since returned to the “real world” from his extended vacay) is finally confirming that he is “in deed” separated from his wife, Rosetta … cuz, those pics prolly weren’t totes obvs:
Balthazar Getty, who has been photographed smooching actress Sienna Miller recently, has announced that he’s splitting from his wife Rosetta Getty, with whom he has four children. “The breakdown of a marriage is a very difficult and painful experience especially when children are involved,” he said in a statement released Monday. “In light of the fact that many pictures have surfaced in print and on the Internet which has caused myself and my family great embarrassment, I felt it necessary to at least acknowledge publicly that yes indeed my wife and I have separated and I will not be commenting any further.”
You will note that Getty is blaming the “surfacing” of “many pictures” for causing him and his family “great embarrassment” and appears to take on no responsibility for his actions. But that’s just fine because he “at least” is willing to “acknowledge publicly” that “yes indeed” he and his wife have separated. Ugh. He could at least step up like a man and take responsibility. Rosetta Getty may be humiliated now but I suspect that she will have the final word when this is all said and done.
