It seems David Beckham’s sons are well on there way to becoming all-American boys. Cruz, four, and Romeo, seven, and Brooklyn, nine, who now call Los Angeles home, were seen enjoying a game of American football yesterday. The little trio were in good spirits as they wrestled for the ball and at one stage Cruz lead an impromptu game of baseball. David was forced to coach from the sidelines after he twisted his ankle during a LA Galaxy match against Chivas USA last week. But sources say the star is wearing a medical boot as a precaution, and is expected to recover in time for the biggest game of his U.S. football career this weekend. His team is set to face Real Salt Lake in the final of the MLS Cup on Sunday in Seattle. Prior to Beckham’s injury, the team had been favourites to win the championship and it would be their first accolade since he joined the club three seasons ago.

Now, y’all know that I love any pics of Becks (or any dad for that matter) spending quality time with his kids but these photos are just too much. I love that the Beckham boys really do look like all American kids playing with their dad, who just so happens to be an international soccer star. David Beckham has become quite the fan of basketball since moving Stateside – but is he interested in the game or the scantily-clad cheerleaders? Posh Spice is taking no chances and made sure she was sat right next to David throughout an LA Lakers game yesterday. Victoria and David took sons Cruz and Romeo to the match, but all the boys seemed to be having much more fun than po-faced Posh. Posh, dressed in super-skinny black jeans, a black vest top and sky-scraper black and gold Christian Louboutin heels, looked thoroughly bored during the game. At one point, the basketball rolled off the court towards her but rather than picking it up and throwing it back to the players, Posh swept her feet up out of the way in horror! Cruz and Romeo seemed to be having a lot more fun – cheering the players on and getting absorbed in the spirit of the game. David also looked to be enjoying himself and didn’t appear to be distracted by the cheerleaders once. Whether that was because he’s learned his lesson or because Posh apparently kept an iron grip on his arm throughout most of the match is anyone’s guess.

LOL … atta girl … keepin’ an eye on Becks should be a joy not a chore ;) It’s nice to see the family all together again … not sure where the eldest Beckham boy, Brooklyn, was but methinks he decided to bail and hang with friends rather than hang out with his parents and kid brothers. I wonder if we’ll be able to see Les Beckhams and kids all dressed up for Hallowe’en? Any guesses on what they might dress up as?

While the Beckham boys were enjoying their Pinkberry treats, mama Victoria Beckham was winging her way back home to SoCal after spending some time in the UK doing whatever it is that she does when she flies there every other week. Here are a couple pics of Vicki B. dressed in a very shiny zippered Glad trash bag as she made her way thru the airport bound for home:

With every day another photo opportunity, fashionista Victoria Beckham is never underdressed. But wearing an £11,500 all-leather outfit to her son’s school fair was a bit much, even for Victoria. With the other parents in T-shirts and shorts, she stood out in a £7,000 Balmain jacket, £1,000 studded leather trousers from DSquared, towering £500 Yves Saint Laurent heels and a £3,000 gold Rolex watch. Though bang on trend, her outfit was perhaps a little over the top. Let’s hope her three sons don’t mind standing out from their peers. Their 35-year-old mother never misses an opportunity to prove her fashion credentials … Bold shoulders have featured on catwalks across Europe this year and have been championed by celebrities such as the singer Rihanna. Fashion critics have been praising the garment which has the effect of making people look thinner because of the jutting shoulders and tiny waist. After decades at the back of the wardrobe, they are the height of fashion again. So naturally, Victoria Beckham is wearing them at every opportunity.

True, Vicki B. is right on fashion trend with these ridiculous shoulder pads … but I know I would DIE if my mother showed up at my school looking like this. Any one of her trademark dVb dresses would’ve been perfect for a school event like this … why she decided to dress like Adam Lambert, I’ll never know. Ah well … she’s just being Posh, I suppose.

I hope his kids enjoyed the alonetime with daddykins yesterday because Becks has already packed his bags and made his way to the UK, presumably for work-related events. After the jump, check out a bearded Becks as he made his latest arrival in London earlier today …

Is it wrong that I like the beard? We’ve seen Becks rock the facial hair before … and I kinda like it. Sure, it looks a bit scraggly now but it’ll grow in if he grooms it properly. I dunno if this is a look he’ll continue to rock but … I’d like to see more.

It’s plainly clear that little Cruz is the ham of the family … he seems to really love the attention from the photographers. Brooklyn and Romeo are always the more reserved ones … it’s Cruz who likes to mess with the paps. He’s gonna be a star someday.

David Beckham scored once and assisted on another goal to lead the Los Angeles Galaxy to a 2-0 victory over Toronto FC. The Galaxy remain two points behind Houston for the Western Conference lead and are third in the MLS with 41 points. The top team in each conference and the clubs that have the next six highest point totals qualify for the playoffs. Beckham scored in the ninth minute with a left-foot strike from 17 yards. Edson Buddle clinched the win with seven minutes to play. Former Manchester United star Beckham said: ‘Tonight, I was happy with my goal and I was happy with the assist I gave to Landon and Eddie, but I think it was the overall team performance that was exceptional tonight.’ Galaxy boss Bruce Arena said: ‘David’s a real good player, there’s no question about it. He is a person with a lot of pride, besides that outstanding ability that he has. He did everything he could tonight to lead this team. I thought his performance was outstanding.’

As per usual, Becks had his cheering squad in the hiz last night rooting him and the LA Galaxy to victory:

While I’m happy that Becks and the Galaxy were victorious last night, I can’t help but be a bit sad that his time with the team is quickly coming to an end. I suppose I always knew that he wouldn’t be with the Galaxy forever but it just seems that his time in SoCal was just way too short. I suspect the Beckham Bunch will be moving permanently to Italy once Becks starts his new contract with AC Milan … so we should enjoy having them in the States as much as we can, while we still can.

Seriously, they are the cutest things ever. I love how excited and serious Cruz Beckham is when he does pretty much anything … from breakdancing on stage with the Spice Girls to bike riding with his brother, Cruz is all business. It seems pretty evident that the youngest Beckham boys had themselves a great time at the park yesterday. Sooo cute!!

Cruz Beckham is already famous for being quite the little showman and he certainly didn’t disappoint at a family celebration in Los Angeles yesterday. The four-year-old stole the spotlight from as he arrived at Romeo’s 7th birthday party dressed as an astronaut. He topped off his NASA costume with a pair of Kanye West inspired shutter shades, Adidas sneakers and of course, plenty of attitude. And just in case there was any doubt about his destiny, he had a big star shaved into his hair.

It seems Cruz loves any excuse to wear a costume, and has previously dressed as a zookeeper, Disney character Buzz Lightyear and TV character, Power Ranger. His spaceman outfit managed to take the attention of his mother – and that’s no easy feat – who wore an elegant black dress, $650 Miu Miu peep toe heels and an oversized clutch. The other Beckham boys – Romeo and 10-year-old Brooklyn- also seem to have inherited their parents flair for fashion and wore bang on trend high-top sneakers with jeans. While Brooklyn kept it simply with a grey T-shirt, the birthday boy wore a suit jacket, tie and trilby hat.

Noticeably absent was daddy David Beckham. He wasn’t seen going into or out of the restaurant so unless he teleported in, he didn’t attend his son’s birthday dinner. In any event, much love and birthday wishes go out to Romeo for turning lucky number 7. It’s all downhill from there, kid ;)

One presumes the youngsters were chaperoned but, then again, mebbe not. Clearly, the young men have grown beyond the stage of fearing girl cooties cuz they all look like they are having a fun time together … and there’s one girl for each of the boys. Seriously, this is way too cute … but shouldn’t be too surprising. Is there anyone out there who didn’t believe that the sons of Beckham would grow up to be lady killer Casanovas? To be honest, tho, I just didn’t expect them to get started on their fated path so soon … shows what I know ;)
