Birthday lurve goes out to the littlest Beckham this weekend as Cruz David turned a whopping 5 years old yesterday and celebrated with family and friends at XMA Extreme Sports Studio in North Hollywood, CA. As you can see from the photos below, Cruz got all dolled up in costume as Transformers Autobots leader Optimus Prime for the occasion:

Cruz Beckham must have one hell of a dressing up box. The youngest Beckham boy jumps at every opportunity to step out in a fancy dress costume, and his fifth birthday was certainly going to be no exception. Dressed from head-to-toe as a Transformer, the youngest Beckham boy managed to upstage his mother Victoria yet again as he larked about for the cameras. Cruz played up for the paparazzi as he and his older brother, seven-year-old Romeo, who was wearing one of dad David’s Sport Relief t-shirts, arrived at the Xtreme Martial Arts World Headquarters in Hollywood with Victoria for his birthday celebration yesterday. In his Optimus Prime outfit, he was all smiles as he leapt out of their people carrier with his arms outstretched before poking an amused looking Romeo’s face with his finger. Victoria, dressed in skinny blue jeans and towering black heels, grabbed Cruz’s hand and led him into the venue. It’s clearly one of Cruz’s favourite places as he also celebrated his fourth birthday last year, again in fancy dress, this time dressed as Wolverine from the X Men. And his smile never left his face and was beaming with happiness as he left a few hours later, still clutching mum’s hand, and laden down with party bags. Later, Victoria took the boys, who were joined by older brother Brooklyn, 10 and Gordon Ramsay and his family for dinner at the Pirate’s Dinner Adventure. Although it was only natural that he was the centre of attention on his birthday, Cruz wasted no time in ditching his robot costume and getting the pirate gear on.

Yes, Cruz Beckham really does love his costume birthday parties. If you recall, he dressed up as both Iron Man and Wolverine for his birthday celebration last year … this year, he opted for Optimus Prime and a Pirate. It’s really nice that his parents let him express this side of himself … I bet he had a blast. Earlier this week, I erroneously reported that mama Victoria Beckham was headed back to the UK from NYC but, as you can see, that was wrong. Vicki B. was headed, instead, for home so she could be with her son on his birthday … sorry ’bout that. In any event, Birthday Lurve goes out to little Cruz today …. here’s hoping he had a great little bday!!

While Katie Holmes and Suri Holmes-Cruise were bizzy dealing with the snow in NYC today, David Beckham and his sons — Brooklyn Joseph, Romeo James and Cruz David — were bizzy dealing with the snow in Milan, Italy … fortunately for them, the snow was much less severe … and much more fun to play in:

With genes like theirs it’s hardly surprising that the Beckham boys know their way around a football pitch. And Romeo more than proved that he was a chip off the old block as he showed off his spot kick skills that were uncannily just like his father David’s. While ten-year-old Brooklyn played around throwing snowballs, the middle Beckham boy struck a pose that would make his dad proud. With the same confident look and right-over-left leg strike on the ball as his AC Milan star father, seven-year-old Romeo booted the ball towards the goal mouth, as his little brother Cruz and their bodyguard looked on. And never one to be outshone by his older siblings, Cruz, four, laughed as he made sure the cameras snapped him on the end of a football too, which he half-heartedly kicked round the goal. Cruz likes playing up to the paparazzi and often pulls faces at them as he and his family are snapped either out for a meal or leaving an airport. Enjoying one of the many perks of having a famous footballer for a father, the boys were taken to AC Milan’s training ground in Italy yesterday by David, 34, who is currently on loan to the Serie A club from his Major League Soccer team, Los Angeles Galaxy. They were snapped getting out of the family car at the Milanello training ground, which is also used by the Italian national team, as David made sure they were fully wrapped up against the cold weather.

OMG … so cute. I will never tire of seeing Becks play with his boys like this. It must be such a treat for the kids to jet around the world to partake of their fabulous parents’ fabulous lives. What fun. I suspect the boys will be staying in Milan with Becks for some time … mama Victoria Beckham will be making her way to NYC for Fashion Week so the boys might be staying with Becks for the whole time she’s there. Something tells me this is just the beginning of all the fun for Becks and his sons.

Victoria Beckham and her sons — Brooklyn Joseph, Romeo James and Cruz David — made their way to Italy this weekend to lend their support in person to hubby/daddy/footballer David Beckham in his AC Milan match-up against rival team Bologna FC. While it was very nice of Vicki B. and the boys to fly halfway around the globe to root for Becks, it’s a shame that he spent the majority of the game sitting on his butt on the bench:

Victoria Beckham was a woman on a mission last night as she flew to Italy in a bid to cheer up husband David. Armed with their three children, the family made the two-hour journey from London to see the AC Milan footballer, who was dropped to the subs bench in a match against Bologna yesterday. Fashion designer Mrs Beckham, 35, was wearing a chic burgundy jumper, her trademark large sunglasses, and, despite reports of her painful bunions, managed to squeeze her feet into four-inch blue heels. The former singer was also wearing dark blue skinny jeans, which are from her Victoria Beckham Denim collection. The mother-of-three also accessorised with her £22,140 burgundy crocodile Hermes Birkin bag which hasn’t left her shoulder in recent weeks. While Mrs Beckham cut a glum figure when arriving at the airport, Romeo, seven, obviously hasn’t inherited his mother’s pouting genes – as he grinned at awaiting photographers. Cruz, four, clutching a Winnie the Pooh bear, cheekily pulled faces as Brooklyn, 10, showed his was too old for toys as he carried a rucksack while leading the way. The Beckham clan jumped into an awaiting car which took them to David, 35, who was commiserating after his team’s 0-0 draw. After the whistle-stop visit, Mrs Beckham will fly to New York for fashion week, where she is showcasing her AW2010 collection. The boys with stay with their father while she is away.

Awww … it’s a shame that the game was a total bust but it was very sweet of the Beckham bunch to fly to Italy to support Becks. It sounds like there will be a lot more travel in Lady Beckham’s future … can’t wait to see where she’ll wind up next.

Early last week mummy Victoria Beckham flew home from Europe to be reunited with her children and she was spotted uncharacteristically wearing ballet flat shoes (something that she vowed she would NEVER wear) … over the weekend, VB stepped out with her youngest children — Romeo James and Cruz David — for a beach outing in Malibu, CA … and wouldn’t you know it, VB was dressed WAY down for the occasion. A baseball cap, jeans and FLIP FLOPS!

Um, I understand that she even went barefoot on the sand for a bit … BAREFOOT! This from the woman who refuses to be seen sans stiletto heels actually went barefoot in public. If I were wearing a string of pearls around my neck, I’d be clutching them in amazement right about now!! I really like Posh when she’s all casual and shizz. I am hoping we get to see more of this Vicki B. in the future.

At the start of last week Victoria Beckham jetted off to the UK to take care of some biz before she made her way to Milan, Italy to meet up with her hubby David Beckham (and to fend off any would-be bulge gropers) later in the week. Today we learn that VB has already made her way back home to LA to be reunited with her children. VB uncharacteristically arrived at LAX Airport wearing ballet flat shoes as opposed to her usual high heel stilettos (!!!) and then she stepped out with her boys — Brooklyn Joseph, Romeo James and Cruz David — for a trip to Whole Foods while wearing baggy jeans (!!!!!) and flip flops (!!!!!!!!!!):

Say whaaaaaaat? Not only is the woman the Queen of transcontinental flying (I don’t know HOW the hell she does it) but this new way of dressing is … interesting. Yes, it appears that VB was not too keen on being seen out and about in baggy jeans and flip flops but still, I’m glad to see her so dressed down. I want to see more of this Vicki B. She may not think she looks fab but I sure do.

While hubby/daddy David Beckham was bizzy training his buns off in Milan, Italy, wifey/mommy Victoria Beckham was back home here in SoCal tending to the Beckham youngin’s. As you may recall, VB and the boys arrived home from the UK earlier this week so it looks like the first thing on the agenda was a visit to the local cinemaplex to see the most-talked about movie o’ the moment — Avatar:

Apparently in all the Beckham family holiday activities over in England there was no time to go to the movies. I’m glad the Beckham boys finally got to see Avatar but VB should’ve taken them to see the flick in IMAX 3D so their little minds could be blown. Blah, either she doesn’t know any better or she figures the kids are so young they won’t know any better (tho, my money is on the former). Ah well, at least the kiddies are home again in SoCal (apparently back in school too, they are all wearing their school uniforms in this pic) and they’ve finally seen the movie they’ve prolly been dying to see for so long. Happy day at the Beckham manse.

Yesterday we saw photos of Victoria Beckham out and about in London, showing off her newest fashion accessories … today we get to see photos of a more dressed-down VB as she and her sons made their arrival at LAX Airport late last night:

I wrongly guessed that VB and the boys might stay in the UK a bit longer but clearly their plan was to get home as soon after the New Year as possible. I’m not sure if the fam returned to LA last night because the boys have to be back to school or if Vicki B. was just anxious to get back to the warmth of SoCal but the family (sans hubby/daddy David Beckham) is home once again … and the paparazzi were ready and waiting. Welcome home, Beckhams!
