Filming on the new Guy Ritchie-directed big screen adaptation of Sherlock Holmes has moved to Liverpool this week as new scenes were shot yesterday. Here are new pics of Robert Downey, Jr. (as Sherlock Holmes) and Jude Law (as Watson) doing their thing on set this week:

Altho these photos aren’t quite as exhilarating as the pics we saw last month of RDJ leaping from tall buildings in a single bound, it’s always nice to see the man in action. It is also very nice to see the Jude’stache in action as well. No word on how much longer the movie will be filmed in the UK but I suspect they’ve still got a bit of work left to get done before they can call it a wrap. The guys are lookin’ good tho … of all the celebs rockin’ the porn’stache these days, I think Jude is my fave.

Here are a couple fun new pics of Robert Downey, Jr. on the London set of his new Sherlock Holmes movie which, we all know, is being directed by Guy Ritchie. These pics show RDJ hooked up to a few safety cables as he leaps from a window while filming a scene for his movie:

I mean … yeah … he’s jumping from a window. The end. Actually, I think the pics are kinda fun … if this scene actually gets in the movie we can all remember the day it was filmed. It’s strange, I’ve never been a huge Sherlock Holmes fan (I was more of the Hardy Boys ilk) but I am very fascinated by this new movie. I can’t wait to see what RDJ, Jude Law and Guy Ritchie have in store for us. I mean, by Jude’stache standards alone, this film is a must see for me.

Previously, we’ve seen photos of RDJ solo in costume as Sherlock and we’ve deffo been following the emergence of the Watsonesque Jude’stache but this is the first time we’ve been able to see the two characters together in full costume. Guy Ritchie may be going thru a rough patch right now since it was announced that he and soon-to-be ex-wife Madonna have decided to divorce after 7 1/2 years of marriage … but you wouldn’t know it to look at him out on the town last night. Guy stepped out for a guys night of fun with his friends Robert Downey, Jr. and Jude Law (who star as Sherlock Holmes and Watson respectively in Ritchie‘s new Sherlock Holmes movie) and the men looked like they were itchin’ to have some fun and mebbe get into a little trubs together:

Newly single Guy Ritchie was all smiles last night as he enjoyed his first night out since his split from Madonna. Director Ritchie, 40, was joined by actors Jude law and Robert Downey Jr for a trip to a private viewing of artist friend Sam Taylor Wood’s new exhibition at the White Cube gallery in London. The three had spent the day filming on location in London for Ritchie’s latest movie Sherlock Holmes, in which Law and Downey star. After a meeting at Ritchie’s London offices they then headed straight out to the gallery … And while his divorce has sparked a media frenzy Ritchie appeared to simply want to relax last night, refusing to comment on rumours surrounding the split.

HA! I love it! They look like a band of miscreant troublemakers. I have no doubt that once Guy is totally split with Madge (ie. once the paperwork is signed, sealed and delivered) he is going to get right back on the horse and dive back into the single life. If he keeps hanging around with these guys, I think Mr. Ritchie will have no problems finding new trouble to get into. By utilizing the power of RDJ‘s charms and the sexy prowess of the Jude’stache, this band of brothers could do some serious damage. I’m glad to see that Guy is able to depend on his bros in his time of need. I look forward to hopefully following their coming misadventures. I mean … seriously … can you imagine how much hawt trouble these three could get into? I mean the drunken nights alone together … Woot! ;)

Earlier this week we saw the first pics of Jude Law rockin’ his new mustache for his role as Watson in the upcoming Sherlock Holmes movie … today it’s Robert Downey, Jr‘s turn to show off his new look. Here is our first look at RDJ on the set of the new Guy Ritchie-directed film based on the famed Arthur Conan Doyle character which is currently filming in Central London … behold:

Despite the fact that these photos do not feature Sherlock Holmes with his trademark pipe, I really love these pics. I just know that RDJ is gonna make a great Sherlock. I’m really looking forward to the interplay between RDJ and Jude Law. I never pegged Jude as sidekick material but I think it’s gonna work. What do y’all think?

Iron Man star Robert Downey, Jr. was spotted making his way out of the Waverly Inn in NYC last night proudly showing off a sassy new porn’ stache:

And, as usual, he was also carting around one of his manbags. The accessory I don’t mind but the facial hair … I’m not too sure about. The ‘stache makes him look a bit like Javier Bardem but not in a good way … do we like?
