So I just posted an entry about how David and I got to attend TV Guide magazine’s Sexiest Stars 2009 party at the Sunset Tower here in LA last night and while I wasn’t able to take photos at the event myself, there are photos that were taken by professionals available for sharing. As you may recall, we learned last week that TV Guide chose Eva Longoria as the Sexiest TV Actress and Simon Baker as the Sexiest TV Actor … and they both made it out for the party last night. Here are but a few of the sexiest TV stars who came out for the event last night:

Desperate Housewives star Eva Longoria Parker has topped a new magazine poll to find the sexiest woman on TV. A day after Aussie Simon Baker was named TV Guide’s sexiest actor, pretty Parker has been crowned the queen of television. And she can’t believe magazine bosses picked her – because her Housewives character Gabrielle Solis has been all frumpy in episodes dating back to last year. She says, “I think the timing for this is pretty funny actually, but also really great. I love that Gaby has been able to withstand time, along with the bad haircuts and all the extra pounds, and is still considered sexy.” And her husband, French sports star Tony Parker agrees with the magazine’s pick: “My husband thinks I’m at my sexiest the first thing in the morning. He says looking over at me as I’m waking up is his favourite thing.”

No offense to Mr. Baker but my choice for Sexiest Actor would have to be Robert Buckley from Lipstick Jungle. It was only today that I found out that he was at the party last night. Let me tell you, had I run into him at the party last night — camera or no camera — I would’ve accosted him for a photo … and mebbe a cheap grab ;) It’s OK, David is well aware of this. The man is just hot. Everyone at the party was just too pretty … it was a fun night. And so … because I wasn’t able to take photos last night, I wanted to share some of the pretty with all y’all … enjoy.

Well, well, well, well … it looks like Whitney Port, from MTV’s The Hills & The City, broke up with her boyfriend Jay Lyon just in time to catch a bigger (and much, much hotter) fish. Life & Style magazine is reporting that Whitney and Lipstick Jungle hottie Robert Buckley were spied lookin’ pretty cozy in Miami, FL where the pair were playing co-hosts at the Havaianas Spring Break event at the Shore Club on Wednesday. HMMM. Considering what a hawt piece of man Robert Buckley is, I can’t say that I can blame Whitney for going for it ;) Here is a pic of the pair together in Mimai and the L&S report on their supposed hook-up:

It looks like Whitney Port isn’t wasting any time getting over ex-boyfriend Jay Lyon! Sparks are already flying between The City’s Whitney and Lipstick Jungle actor Robert Buckley, an insider tells Life & Style. The duo were both in Miami to host the Havaianas Spring Break event at the Shore Club on March 18. “Whitney and Rob hung out together all day. They were even holding hands!” an insider tells Life & Style. “There was definitely something in the air!” But the passion really ignited at dinner later that night. “Whitney and Rob joined about 10 of their friends for dinner at Nobu. They got quite cozy and started making out like crazy!” the insider reveals. To cap off the sultry evening, the two partied the night away! “They hit the town together after dinner.” says the insider. Juicy new romance or a spring fling? Only time will tell…

You know, if this report is true and something does come from this Spring fling … then Whitney Port is one lucky girl. Robert Buckley is a total cutie and, from what I understand, a really cool guy. I’m not sure I totally believe the details of this report but, again, I can’t say that I would blame Whitney one bit for trying to get into Robert’s pants. Wouldn’t it be great if Robert started showing up on The City? OMG! Olivia Palmero would DIE! OK, mebbe not … the show might be beneath him … buy any Robert Buckley is more than welcome as far as I’m concerned. My gut tells me that these two are not and will not become an item … which is deffo a loss for Whitney. What do y’all think … do you like these two together?

People magazine has released it’s annual pick for Sexiest Man Alive and they have chosen Aussie hunk Hugh Jackman as the sexiest … and I must concur. Each year, People magazine gathers a list of hawt male celebs for their time-honored Sexiest list (which is usually a very nice list) but some years bestows the honor of Sexiest Man Alive on a clichéd pick (Brad Pitt, George Clooney, Brad Pitt again, etc.). This year, I think People magazine absolutely made the right choice in picking Hugh Jackman:

He’s a triple threat: a star who can sing, dance and wield a weapon. At 6 ft. 2 in., all scruff and biceps, Hugh Jackman looms large in the epic Australia, which he says kept him “dirty 95 percent of the time” and left people stammering, “Oh … my … God,” according to costar Nicole Kidman, who adds, “Women’s jaws drop when Hugh walks into a room.” Jackman’s wife of 12 years, Deborra-Lee Furness, calls his perfect form “the Body of Doom – but I like what’s inside”: a romantic who sings ballads at home and makes pancakes for Oscar, 8, and Ava, 3. A hard body with a soft center.

In his interview with People magazine, Hugh confessed that he used to be self-conscious about his “chicken legs” and reveals that “lately” he is most proud of his smile and his pecs. OMG. I SO concur ;) “Sexy” is the perfect way to describe Hugh Jackman. As y’all know, I happily feature Hugh as much as I can (as recently as Monday) because the man is basically sex on legs. Of all the Sexiest men who made the list this year, I can’t think of anyone more deserving of the top spot. But, there are other Sexy men on the list. Lipstick Jungle hottie Robert Buckley was snapped doing a bit of fragrance shopping at Bloomingdale’s in NYC this week, obvs because he wants to smell as good as he looks:

The guy is so hawt … it doesn’t matter what he does, he makes it look good (especially when he’s filming sweaty, shirtless scenes for his TV show). I’m not sure what fragrance he decided to go with but I bet he smells pretty good already … MMMM, can you imagine? What do you think Robert Buckley smells like?

Batman: The Dark Knight held it’s first premiere, a black carpet event, at the AMC Loews Lincoln Center in NYC last night. All of the principal stars of the movie were in attendance (many of them matched up with their partners) including members of the late Heath Ledger’s family (who opted out of talking to any press as they walked the carpet). Here are a few pics from the black carpet arrivals at last night’s premiere:

There were lots of jubilant smiles and happy faces … it’s nice that the stars of The Dark Knight can celebrate their new movie (reportedly a tour de force for Heath Ledger) without having to cast any mournful sadness on the event over the loss of Heath Ledger. Here are a few new pics of Kim Raver and Robert Buckley on the Manhattan streets set of their TV show Lipstick Jungle which is currently filming scenes for their upcoming second season. Sadly these pics aren’t as … semi-nekkid … as the last batch of Lipstick Jungle set photos featuring these two were (click HERE for a refresher on those pics) but Kim looks hawt … as does Robert so … check ‘em out:

I should clarify that while Kim does look really great, I think she’d do much better with a different skirt. This one looks a bit bulky and doesn’t really flatter her from the waist down. That being said, I heart her totally … no matter what she’s wearing. Robert, on the other hand, could wear a sackcloth or a dish towel and I’d be totally fine with it. In fact, I think I’d much prefer seeing the man in nothing but a dish towel rather than this very tight t-shirt stretched across his muscular chest. Less is more, I always say … especially when it comes to hotties like Mr. Buckley. I dunno if it right to become interested in a TV show based solely on the looks of one of the cast members but I’m okay with being totally in the wrong on this one. Lipstick Jungle deffo picked itself up a new viewer in me :)
