Earlier this month, Ricky Martin tweeted a photo from the set of Glee and right now we get to see some of the work he has done on the show. Ricky will appear on next Tuesday’s ep of Glee as the school’s new Spanish teacher and, naturally, will bust out into song with the rest of the Glee cast. The girls and boys will swoon, Mr. Shue will roll his eyes disapprovingly and … the end, another ep of Glee. Earlier today, new Pink is the new Blog writer Melissa posted the first photo of singer/actor Ricky Martin on the set of Glee and right now we get to see him on the cover of the new issue of Latina magazine. In his coverstory interview, which is excerpted below, Ricky talks to Latina about his upcoming stint on Broadway, his plans to have another baby (!!!) and whether or not he is lookin’ to get married to his boyfriend Carlos Gonzales Abella. This issue of Latina hits newsstands next Tuesday January 10 but you can get a taste of what’s inside this issue below right now.

Filming has begun for Ricky Martin’s guest spot on Glee. Last night, Ricky, tweeted a photo of himself with the cast of Glee, including Lea Michele, Vanessa Lengies, Chris Colfer and the rest of the gang, with the message: “First day!! :o)”

Over the past few days, rumors have been going around that Ricky Martin and his longtime partner Carlos Gonzalez Abella got married or are planning to marry in NYC soon. As you may recall, marriage rumors concerning this two started up in April of last year. Back then, the reports were that Ricky and Carlos were planning to be married in Gonzalez‘s home country of Spain (the marriage rumors intensified in November when it was rumors swirled that Ricky applied for Spanish citizenship). People in Español is confirming today that Ricky and Carlos have NOT gotten married and have no plans to marry in the near future … certainly not in NYC.

It is that time of the year again when MAC Cosmetics releases their holiday promo photos for their annual Viva Glam campaign … and today we learn that the Viva Glam campaign this year will feature popstars Nicki Minaj and Ricky Martin. As you may know, the Viva Glam line of MAC products raises funds for the MAC AIDS Fund so it’s not uncommon for popstars that work with AIDS-related charities to be featured in the campaigns. In March of 2010, Ricky Martin officially came out as an openly gay man. A year later, in April of this year, it was reported that Ricky and his longtime partner Carlos Gonzalez Abella were planning on getting married in Abella’s home country of Spain (where same-sex marriage is legal). Today we learn that Ricky has successfully become a Spanish citizen, paving the way for the guys to say I Do.

Now that Ricky Martin is well out of the closet as a gay man and after he very publicly acknowledged his relationship with longtime boyfriend Carlos Gonzalez at the GLAAD Media Awards in NYC last month, there is a new report going around that claims that Ricky and Carlos are planning to get married. Now, because Ricky and Carlos can’t get married legally in Puerto Rico, the belief is that the couple may get married in Carlos‘s home country of Spain … where same-sex marriage has been legal since 2005. Could we be hearing wedding bells soon for Mr. Ricky Martin?

Yesterday I posted photos from Ricky Martin‘s first night performance of his Musica+Alma+Sexo World Tour and I made a few cheeky comments about Ricky‘s silly leather outfit (comments that I stand by). BUT, today we get to see photos from the second night of his tour and these photos show that Ricky doesn’t wear his leather outfit for the entire duration of his show. At some point, Ricky busts out the beefcake on stage … which is a much better look for him.

Ricky Martin kicked off his new Musica+Alma+Sexo World Tour in his homeland of Puerto Rico last night and he unveiled his new leather daddy look on stage. I’m thinkin’ Ricky‘s outfit is meant to look like a badass motorcyle outfit but, IMHO, it ended up looking more silly than badass. Check out the photos below and see for yourselves.

Last night in NYC, NY the 22nd annual GLAAD Media Awards were handed out at the Marriott Marquis Times Square to a select group of individuals for their excellence in fair, accurate and inclusive representations of the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community and the issues that affect their lives. Among this year’s honorees is popstar Ricky Martin (who came out publicly as gay last year) and the TV shows True Blood & 30 Rock. Check out some photos and deets from the ceremony below.
