Hold on to your hats, y’all … there might be a BIG development on the way for Reese Witherspoon and her relatively new man Jim Toth. Over the weekend, Reese was spotted making her way out of a bridal shop in Santa Monica, CA before meeting up with Jim at one of her kids’ sporting events later in the day. Might the couple be ready already to say their I Dos?

I mean … HMMMMM. I suppose just because Reese was spotted at a bridal shop it doesn’t necessarily mean that she is planning to get hitched. She might have an upcoming wedding for a family member or friend … perhaps she was just trying on veils for kicks. I think it might be a bit hasty to assume she is ready to marry Jim already but … well, in Hollywood, I guess you just never know. What do y’all think … do you think these two ready to tie the knot?

Earlier this week we saw a fun photo of Robert Pattinson showing off his new shorter hair’do on The Ellen DeGeneres Show and we learned that he clipped off his hair for a role in the new film currently in production Water for Elephants. Today we get our first look at R. Pattz (and his new ‘do) on the set of Elephants which is filming this week here in SoCal:

Robert Pattinson has kicked off the principal photography for “Water for Elephants”. Now, several pictures during the production process have hit the web, mostly featuring the lead actor wearing a shabby outfit. In some photos, Pattinson was seen shooting a scene with a co-star, while in some other shots he was captured pulling out a black horse from what looks like a train. Since the film uses a traveling circus as the background of the story, elephant is also seen around the shooting location while a big tent is built on the set … In the movie, Robert Pattinson stars as Jacob Jankowski, an orphaned veterinary student who is put in charge of caring for the animals in a traveling circus. His character will later fall in love with beautiful equestrian rider Marlena, played by Reese Witherspoon. Unfortunately, Marlena has married to the troupe’s charismatic but dangerous animal trainer August. Francis Lawrence serves behind the lens for this drama film, with the script provided by Richard LaGravenese. Gil Netter, Erwin Stoff and Andrew Tennenbaum produce “Water for Elephants” which is slated to arrive sometime in 2011.

I hear the novel which this film is based on is a fantastic read but I have to admit, the story doesn’t really sound like it’ll be my kind of film. I have to say, tho, that it’s great to see Rob taking on as many different roles as possible in the wake of his insane Twilight fame. I might be interested to see him in a film opposite Reese Witherspoon … and speaking of, Reese was also spotted on the set of Water for Elephants this week. Newish couple Reese Witherspoon and agent Jim Toth made their way back to Ojai, CA this weekend for a little romantic get-away for just the two of them. As you may recall, Reese and Jim sneaked away to Ojai back in March to celebrate Reese‘s birthday. It would appear that Ojai is a very special place for Reese to take the men that she is dating because before Reese and Jim went there in March (and again this past weekend), she and former boyfriend Jake Gyllenhaal made their way to Ojai back in December. In any event, it would seem that Reese and Jim are settling into couplehood very easily … I mean, after all, they already look like an old married couple:

I don’t know about YOU but to me it looks like Reese and Jim and in it for the loooooooong haul. These two really look like they’ve settled into their relationship quite nicely. Will their lurve be able to stand the test of time? We shall see. At this point, tho, it would seem they are well on their way to happy, traditional domesticity.

Celeb mom Reese Witherspoon spent part of her Mother’s Day weekend chillin’ with her son Deacon Reese and her new boyfriend Jim Toth in Brentwood, CA yesterday at one of Deacon’s soccer games. Here are a couple photos of Reese with the two men in her life these days:

Reese is deffo one of the coolest celeb moms in Hollywood and it’s so great to see that she was able to spend some time with both Deacon and Jim this weekend. We know that she’s already introduced her children to her new beau so it would seem that she is now trying to get little D to bond with Jim. It looks like Reese‘s Mother’s Day weekend got off to a great start. Happy Mother’s Day to her and, again, to all the fabulous moms out there who take care of us all!

When last we saw photos of Reese Witherspoon and her new beau Jim Toth out and about they were doing a bit of shopping with her children Ava Elizabeth and Deacon Reese last weekend. This weekend, the couple stepped out for a bit to eat together … just the two of them … so in lurve:

I understand the couple (Rim? Roth? Rim Rotherspoon?) enjoyed a nice Mexican brunch in Hollywood before the made their way to West Holllywood to do a bit of shopping at Fred Segal. It sounds like a very nice, very normal Saturday afternoon. Altho Reese has already introduced this new love interest to her kiddies, it does appear that she is taking things nice and slow. I honestly think that these two can make this new relationship last. Because he’s in the biz (as an agent) but is not a celeb, I think they have a better chance at longevity. They already look so normal … here’s hoping they truly are in it for the long haul.

When last we saw photos of Reese Witherspoon out in public with her new man (of 2 months) Jim Toth, the pair had popped up in Ojai, CA to celebrate her birthday last month. Up until now, we haven’t seen any photos of the couple out with her children Ava Elizabeth and/or Deacon Reese … which seemed smart, especially considering the kids have to deal with her recent break-up from ex-boyfriend Jake Gyllenhaal as well. But, it seems that Reese is finally ready for her kids to get close to Jim because while ex-hubby Ryan Phillippe was bizzy prepping for his big night hosting Saturday Night Live in NYC, NY, Reese‘s whole new family ventured out together for a shopping excursion in Brentwood, CA yesterday:

I understand Reese, her man and her kids attended Jennifer Garner‘s birthday party yesterday and then did a bit of shopping afterward to pick up some gifts for themselves, too. I have to believe that things are getting serious between Reese and Jim since she is already introducing her kids to him after only 2ish months of dating. It’s always a difficult thing figuring out when to introduce kids to a new love interest but this seems like clear proof that Reese is not flinging with Jim Toth. Now that the family is doing things together, we may see more photos of them out and about in the weeks and months to come. I hope Reese and Jim are in it for the long haul, it’d be a shame for the kids to get attached to this new dude and then have him go away.

This Easter weekend was mama Reese Witherspoon‘s turn with the kids so she packed them up and flew them out to Washington DC so that they could partake in the annual Easter Egg Roll at the White House earlier today. As you may recall, Ryan Phillippe was bizzy this weekend here in SoCal with his own Easter grass activities so it’s a good thing Reese got the kiddies out of town:

Apparently, Reese was able to attend Easter church services with her new boyfriend Jim Toth here in LA yesterday morning before she and the kids flew to DC for the Easter Egg Roll at the White House which was held today (which, by the way, makes NO sense at all). It’s hard being a celebrity mom, y’all. But, as you can see from the photos above, Reese manages to handle it all with grace. She looks fantastic. I’m sure her kids had fun at the White House rollin’ with their homies.

Earlier this week we saw that it was daddy Ryan Phillippe‘s time to tend to the children — Ava Elizabeth and Deacon Reese — and today we learn that the kiddies have already been passed over to mama Reese Witherspoon … who took the children out for Pinkberry dessert last night:

We know that Reese has been creepin’ around with her new beau Jim Toth these days but, apparently, the time isn’t right for her to go out in public with her new boyfriend and her children. Who knows, mebbe she hasn’t even introduced her kids to her new man yet at all? Considering how close Reese‘s last boyfriend, Jake Gyllenhaal, got to her kids it makes sense that she would want to move forward cautiously this time around. Whatever is going on in her personal life, it’s nice to see Reese enjoy a simple night out with her kids. Pinkberry is a great way to end a day!!

In the wake of Reese Witherspoon‘s break-up with Jake Gyllenhaal last December, we learned in February that she had already moved on romantically with a new dude named Jim Toth. It would seem that things are still going well for Reese and Jim because the pair are still hangin’ out and are engaging in some SERIOUS hand-holding. Reese and Jim — Jeese? Roth? — were spotted together in Ojai, CA over the weekend lookin’ all in lurve and shizz … behold:

Smiling, holding hands and sporting baseball caps and sunglasses, the couple were spotted on Saturday at a farmer’s market in Ojai, which is in Ventura County, near Santa Barbara … The quiet weekend was in contrast to the Oscar winner’s 33rd birthday, when she was feted with a surprise birthday party at the Los Angeles premiere of Monsters vs. Aliens.

What a difference a year makes. I have to say, tho, that I much prefer her birthday celebration this year to her celebration last year. I am TOTALLY ON BOARD with this relationship. Reese needs a nice, stable man to love her … I think her pairing with Jim is prolly the best possible scenario. He’s in the biz (working for CAA) so he gets her and yet, he’s still a private person so he brings none of the celebrity baggage to the relationship … AND they look great together! I love these two together and it thrills me to no end to see that they are still very happily attached! Woot! Happy Birthday, Reese!! Hang on to this one, okay?

It’s been a couple of months now since Reese Witherspoon and Jake Gyllenhaal broke off their seemingly romantic affiliation and since that time, our dear Jakey poo has been spotted roaming the streets of SoCal all by his lonesome. It turns out that Reese has NOT been doing the same. Miss Reese was spotted in the close company of a hot-lookin’ man in “the biz” here in Hollywood recently … and the two looked pretty chummy, if you ask me:

It has been only two months since her break-up with Jake Gyllenhaal. But it seems Reese Witherspoon is already enjoying the company of another man. The Oscar winner, 33, was spotted having an intimate meal for two with Hollywood agent Jim Toth at an Italian restaurant last week. A fellow diner at Locanda Portofino in Santa Monica said the actress and her handsome companion were ‘very flirtatious’ and ‘very friendly’ during their meal. Witherspoon met Toth – who works for the Creative Artists Agency – in the restaurant and spent two hours huddled with him in a corner. An onlooker told People magazine: ‘They were very flirtatious throughout dinner. ‘They were having a lot of fun, totally getting along and laughing and talking the whole dinner. ‘Reese seemed very happy. The mood was upbeat and really good.’ After the meal, Toth paid the bill and the two parted with a warm kiss in the car park. The onlooker added: ‘Reese reached around his neck and pulled him close for a hug. They kissed bye on the cheek – but it was a very friendly goodbye.’ A friend of Toth’s told the magazine the dinner had been ‘a date’, but added it was ‘nothing serious’.

HMMM … well, if Britney can get her groove on with her agent, I can’t see why Reese can’t knock boots with an agent of her own. This Toth fellow looks pretty handsome in these photos and even if things aren’t serious, there’s no reason to believe that they cannot get serious in the future. We’ll have to wait and see if these two go out on another date before we jump to any “in love” conclusions. I would just LOOOOOVE to see Reese hook up with this guy. They look like a cute couple, don’tcha think?
