It looks like the report earlier this week from US Weekly magazine turned out to be true after all … the magazine reported exclusively that Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi were going to be married yesterday afternoon and, in fact, Ellen and Portia did get married. Here are a few pics of the lovely brides as they posed for their own photographer at their Beverly Hills, CA nuptials yesterday afternoon:

Ring the wedding bells! Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi have tied the knot. “Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi were married tonight in an intimate ceremony at their home in Los Angeles,” their spokesperson tells PEOPLE exclusively. DeGeneres, 50, and de Rossi, 35, both wore Zac Posen and exchanged rings by Neil Lane during the Saturday ceremony. Their big day also featured arrangements by L.A. florist Mark’s Garden. The intimate ceremony was attended by 19 guests, including DeGeneres’s mom Betty and de Rossi’s mother Margaret Rogers (who flew in from Australia for the occasion), who witnessed the couple exchange handwritten vows. The couple have been dating since December 2004. DeGeneres announced her plans to wed de Rossi during a taping of her talk show in May after California’s Supreme Court ruled a previous ban on gay marriage to be unconstitutional.

Woot! This is amazing and very happy news! The doubter in me didn’t totally believe that Ellen and Portia were going to be wed this weekend until I saw the Party Planning trucks arrive at their Beverly Hills home … then I started getting excited that they might actually do the deed — and they did! I am so happy for our dear de Generossi … they seem so right for one another and now that the great State of California has ruled that same-sex marriage is legal, I am just thrilled that they can show the world how much they love one another by entering into this kind of commitment. Much, much congrats and love to them both. I wish them a lifetime of happiness together!

US Weekly magazine was the first to report exclusively that Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi are planning to be married this weekend. At first, I scoffed at the notion that a mere tabloid was able to sniff out the super-secret wedding plans of de Generossi but new photos of Party Rental and Event Designer trucks showing up at their home have got me on board somewhat with the US Weekly report:

Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi, 35, will wed this weekend in California, Usmagazine.com has learned exclusively. The pair are planning a small, intimate ceremony with only a few close friends and family.

Yeah, that’s pretty much all the info that US Weekly’s got … so you can see why I didn’t immediately believe that it was necessarily true. The party planning trucks, tho, seem awfully suspicious. It’s very reminiscent of the Wentz/Simpson wedding that happened earlier this year … rumor rumblings started up and then trucks and tents started appearing on the grounds of the Simpson manor and a wedding was had. Still … one can never be sure … do y’all think that the couple are planning to be wed this weekend? Are pictures of these trucks enough?

Last week we saw pics of the adorable pair enjoying all the best that Italy has to offer and these new pics are no exception. Here is today’s update on Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi, happily betrothed to one another, as they continue to enjoy their little pre-wedding honeymoon in Italy this week. Yesterday we saw pics of the happy couple, de Generossi lets call them, walking hand in hand on the cobblestone streets of Rome and today we have pics of the pair heading out into the open sea on a massive yacht in Naples:

But, the ladies weren’t relegated to just enjoying the sights while on the yacht, no siree, they actually ventured forth and got into the water as well. Here are a few more pics of de Generes frolicking in the waters near Capri Island:

Other water sports enjoyed by the ladies include snorkeling and kayaking in addition to the jet skiing seen above. It really looks like they are really loving their Italian getaway this week. It’s so nice to see them looking so happy. I wonder what they’ve got planned for tomorrow.

Yesterday we saw a few pics of Ellen DeGeneres and her betrothed fiancée Portia de Rossi enjoying the beautiful city of Rome, Italy on what I would like to call their pre-wedding honeymoon … today, we have a few more pics of the happy couple still enjoying their Roman holiday as they took to the cobblestone streets of the city together while a group of gawkers followed behind:

Looks like nothing but smiles from the brides-to-be … I bet they are having a blast. We still have no word on an official wedding date for the happy couple but I suspect they will be tying the knot before November to ensure that they are legally wed before the matter of same-sex marriage goes on the California ballot. There is also no word on how long the lovebirds will be staying in Italy … but I do hope they get to enjoy a nice, long vacation together for at least a few more days :)

Seriously, they are the cutest. It’s so wonderful seeing them so happy … they make such a great couple, I wish they’d go ahead and get married already ;) I’m not sure if this Roman holiday is going to take the place of any planned honeymoon that they may not have time for after they get married here in California (if the couple get married on the show or after the new season begins production, Ellen will not have time to take a 2-week honeymoon because of her TV shooting schedule) but it looks like they are having a great time anyways. I love them! These are really great pics.

Ellen DeGeneres may have won the Daytime Emmy award for Best Talk Show Host last night but that wasn’t the only reason she was all smiles on the red carpet and inside the Kodak Theater. Ellen and her fiancé Portia de Rossi showed off Portia’s new diamond engagement ring and the pair also revealed new deets on their upcoming nuptials to People magazine. Ellen DeGeneres gave Portia de Rossi a glittering ring with pink diamonds for their upcoming wedding that will air in part on DeGeneres’s talk show. “We have set a wedding date,” said DeGeneres, who walked the red carpet with de Rossi at Friday night’s 35th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards at the Kodak Theater in Hollywood. De Rossi wore a green satin Lanvin gown and a Neil Lane ring on her wedding finger. The ring was a marquis cut diamond set with pink diamonds. DeGeneres … announced her plans to wed longtime girlfriend de Rossi, on her show back in May, shortly after California’s Supreme Court ruled the previous ban on gay marriages as unconstitutional. The two stars are in the midst of preparations for what DeGeneres calls “the dream wedding.” “Planning a wedding is very stressful,” says DeGeneres. “It is crazy. My gardener is now invited.” The comedienne remained tight-lipped on the major details of her upcoming nuptials to de Rossi, 35, only revealing that “incredible people” would be performing, and that she would air part of the ceremony on her show … “I can’t wait to be married. I feel like it is long overdue,” she said. “And I think someday people will look back on this like women not having the right to vote and segregation and anything else that seems ridiculous like we all don’t have the same rights.” The two stars began dating in December 2004.

Aww … I am so excited for these two. I’m sure they are going to pull out all the stops for their wedding and if I know Ellen, it’s gonna be a really fun affair. I can only imagine what the guest list looks like (anyone from Oprah Winfrey to David Beckham to Hillary Clinton to Madonna could be on it) and I cannot wait to watch it all go down on Ellen’s show. Much congrats to the happy couple … I just hope *we* won’t have to wait *too* long to find out the wedding date ;)
