In response to those racy photos in GQ magazine of Glee stars Dianna Agron and Lea Michele stripped down to their bras and panties, Playgirl magazine has made a serious off to Glee stars Mark Salling …

… and newcomer Chord Overstreet …

… to pose nekkid within the pages of their magazine — to the tune of $100,000.00 each:

“Glee” stars Mark Salling and Chord Overstreet have been offered $100,000 to pose for raunchy women’s magazine Playgirl … And they are offering the pair a massive $100,000 pay cheque to strip off for the publication, which has previously seen stars including Brad Pitt and Keith Urban undress for sexy photo shoots. A representative for the magazine says, “We would be very willing to pay for them both – up to $100,000. And it wouldn’t have to be fully X-rated, either.” The news comes just days after officials at the Parents Television Council fiercely criticizued Agron and Michele for posing as sexy cheerleaders in the new GQ spread, branding the photographs borderline “paedophilia”.

I, for one, would chip in some of my personal funds to sweeten the deal in order for the guys to say YES and strip down. Maybe we can start a collection to get even more money for them? Who’s with me?

Yeah, I understand that both Mark and Chord have, sadly, turned down Playgirl’s offer but … we can always hope they’ll change their minds, can’t we?

Last week we got our first look at Make Me a Supermodel‘s Ronnie Kroell on the cover and in the pages of the new issue of Playgirl magazine and today we get to see a couple photos of the lad chillin’ at the 40th annual Los Angeles GLBT Pride Celebration parade which took place here in West Hollywood, CA yesterday afternoon. Ronnie was sponsored by Chad Hudson Events as a fundraiser for the White Knot organization — which is a non-profit organization working towards achieving marriage equality. Back in March we learned that Ronnie Kroell from season 1 of Bravo TV‘s Make Me a Supermodel (a show that many of you very likely did not watch) posed for Playgirl magazine, ready to show the world what his mama gave him. Kroell‘s Playgirl shoot was getting some buzz because it was reported that he would be “erect” in the photospread (hey, I’m only passing along the info here). In fact, Playgirl hadn’t enjoyed as much attention for one of their photospreads since Levi Johnston appeared disappointingly P33Nless within their publication back in November and then again this past February. As you might expect, Ronnie‘s totally nekkid photos have made their way to the Internets for our viewing pleasure:

Back in November the world got its first look at Levi Johnston‘s first batch of semi-nekkid (ie. p33nless) photos for Playgirl in their online incarnation. As you may already know, Playgirl decided to halt production of the print edition of their magazine in early ’09 but because of all the hoopla over Johnston‘s (IMHO very disappointing) photos, the magazine has decided to go into print once again. The first new print edition of Playgirl magazine, out this month, features Levi on the cover … here is our first look:

Levi Johnston’s long-awaited Playgirl cover has finally been released, and the caribou hunter-turned-aspiring model/actor does live up to his promise and appear nude, but with one notable exception: He covers himself below the waist. Titled “Levi Johnston Goes Rogue,” the pictorial also includes an interview with Johnston, 19, who has a 1-year-old son, Tripp, with Bristol Palin, 19, the daughter of former Alaska governor Sarah Palin. In the interview portion of the spread, Johnston discusses his tumultuous relationship with the Palins, as well as being a new dad. The magazine, Playgirl’s debut re-launch issue, hits newsstands Feb. 22. And for those who haven’t had their fill of Johnston, a pay-per-view special of Johnston from Playgirl airs on cable Feb. 12.

You gotta hand it to Playgirl, they are really trying to get as much out of those Levi Johnston photos as they possibly can. It’s unknown if the photos included in this new print issue of Playgirl will really be new photos or if they will be recycled photos available to subscribers at Playgirl.com. I’m sure when the mag hits newsstands we’ll FINALLY have our questions answered! It’s a very bizzy weekend for the Johnston family this weekend … first and foremost, at precisely 1AM ET this morning the first 25 photos from Levi Johnston‘s Playgirl photoshoot went online at Playgirl.com for viewing by subscribers. Secondly, Levi‘s mother Sherry Johnston was sentenced to 3 years in prison yesterday in the wake of her recent drug conviction … tho, the two incidents aren’t really related, each is a significant benchmark in the Johnston family history. Here is a totally sanitized publicity photo from Levi‘s Playgirl shoot and some deets about the just released batch of photos in a new press release:

The shoot everyone has been talking about has finally arrived! The first set of Levi Johnston pictures to be released at 1am Saturday, November 21st on Playgirl.com. There will be 25 pictures put up currently, and more to follow weekly from the much talked about shoot.

I’ve been able to see all 25 photos and, to be honest, you’re really not missing much. As was previously reported, Levi shows no p33n and there are only 4 photos that show his bare bum (in classy black and white). There are 5 photos where he is obscuring his p33n with either a towel or his hands and only one of those is in color. This first batch of photos seems to be totally from the “shower” stetting save for the 4 photos of him fully dressed, which are also included. It seems to me that Playgirl is going to stretch out the release of these photos for as long as they can to maximize their effectiveness. In fact, I understand that the printed version of Playgirl magazine that will feature Levi‘s “nekkid” pictorial won’t be published until March 2010! I can’t believe they think people will still care by then. I find it very misleading for Playgirl to announce that Johnston will be “nude” and not mention that he will not be “full frontally” nude. It sounds like all we’re gonna get is a bunch of carefully posed photos that show bare ass, a hockey stick and not much more. To be fair, the photos can still be very hot as one needn’t show it all for a photo to be steamy (which is likely what this “wet armpit” preview photo wants us to believe) … it just seems incredibly lame for Levi Johnston to fall short of expectations, as it were, and wimp out on showing us everything he’s got to offer.

Earlier this week, Levi Johnston posed for his nekkid photospread for Playgirl magazine and today we are hearing from Life & Style magazine just went down at said photoshoot. As you may or may not be aware, Levi was on his high school hockey team and it seems that his prowess at utilizing big hockey sticks served as some inspiration for the photoshoot … tho, it remains to be seen just how big of a stick he is working with:

It’s Levi Johnston’s last day at the Playgirl photo shoot, and Life & Style has exclusive details. “The shoot is going well,” Levi’s manager and bodyguard, Tank Jones, tells Life & Style. “Levi is standing naked right now — he’s got one hand down there.” “In terms of props, he’s used a hockey stick. That’s the only prop in the shoot,” he adds. “You’ll see what you need to see in these photos.” So how is the 19-year-old father handling his first nude photo shoot? “I’m good!” Levi tells Life & Style. “I haven’t gone through them yet, but there are a lot of good shots.”

I understand the shoot was done over 3 days total. I believe one day was spent in a locker room, which is prolly where the hockey stick comes into play. I also understand that this special Levi Johnston issue of Playgirl magazine will be ready and on newsstands at some point in the coming week. For all we know, printing presses might be in overdrive RIGHT NOW churning out copies of the much-anticipated issue. Alls I know is that all this hype better be worth it … I must admit, I’m intrigued by the hockey theme. We should soon know if Levi‘s hockey stick is really worth waiting to see.

Levi Johnston, who recently appeared on The Early Show on CBS not once but twice in the same week to regale the nation with dishy tales about the Palin family, has finally made his grand arrival in NYC where he will drop trou and bear, well, everything for the pages of Playgirl magazine. You may recall that Playgirl announced last year that they were closing up shop on their print edition and would exist only online … but Levi‘s decision to show off his johnston has inspired the publication to revive its print edition for such a special occasion. Here are a few pics of Levi‘s arrival in NYC this weekend and the story of how Playgirl is hoping that Levi‘s johnston will save its magazine:

As career moves go, it seemed almost inevitable that Levi Johnston would show the full monty in an adult magazine one day. This, after all, is a guy who got Sarah Palin’s daughter pregnant at the age of 17, then turned on the Palin family when the couple broke up, telling juicy tales to anyone who would listen, including that his ex-future mother-in-law knew he was having sex in her home, and that she referred to her child with Down syndrome as her “retarded baby.” More surprising was the news that Johnston would be posing for Playgirl, which had actually folded the year before. At the time it closed, the magazine, which was founded in 1973 as a feminist response to Playboy, was seen as a victim of the recession. Beyond that, adult content had long ago moved away from newsstands and video stores and into the home, where it could be viewed instantly on a computer … As it turns out, Playgirl was only mostly dead. Like many other brands, Playgirl was kept alive online by its owner, Trans Digital Media, a private corporation in New York that owns magazines such as High Times, and provides soft-core content to cable companies like Time Warner and Comcast. A few months ago, TDM began mulling doing special issues and brought in a consultant named Daniel Nardicio. Getting Bristol Palin’s baby daddy to pose in the buff was Nardicio’s first big idea, and it’s a stunt that’s in keeping with Nardicio’s outré tastes … “We’re trying to change the face of Playgirl,” Nardicio says by phone. “The reason I wanted to work with them is that I think of it as a classic American brand that got a little lost. The women working on it weren’t keeping up with the times. They didn’t admit that there were a lot of gay men reading the magazine and gay men don’t want to see guys with flowing long locks looking like they came from the cover of a Danielle Steel novel.” Though he is heterosexual, Levi Johnston has a considerable gay following. He posed shirtless for GQ, went to the Teen Choice awards with gay icon Kathy Griffin, and did a Skype chat with Bravo’s openly gay programming executive, Andy Cohen, who has jokingly called Johnston “my boyfriend.” At first, Nardicio hoped the photographer Terry Richardson (who is known for his oversaturated eroticized pictures) might be available to do the Johnston pictorial, but the assignment went to photographer Greg Weiner instead. Nardicio is particularly pleased with the serendipitous pun. “His name is actually Greg Weiner!” he beams. “That’s the funny thing.” And Nardicio’s already begun scouting locations for Johnston’s shoot at locker rooms and ice hockey rinks, which was leaked to Gawker, earlier this week. Then, on Thursday, The New York Post’s Page Six ran an item suggesting the boy from Alaska might be “worried about how his manhood may look” in such an chilly environment. Nardicio says the story was “total bullshit,” though he admits he hasn’t actually seen Johnston naked nor has he asked his representatives about the size of the goods. “I don’t think it’s appropriate,” he says. “I ask models [for a look], but they’re not famous. When they’re famous, I’m not going to worry about it. We wouldn’t turn away Levi if he had a small penis” … Asked how often Playgirl is planning on publishing next year following the Johnston issue, Nardicio professes not to be sure. They’re thinking six times a year, but it could be four, which Nardicio prefers. It’s all pretty informal, down to the fact that the magazine doesn’t even have a top editor. “That’s what’s so great about it,” he says. “It’s a group effort. We’re having fun with it.” As far as Nardico is concerned, publishing nude photographs of Levi is just a means to an end—the most important thing is knowing who the reader is and tailoring Playgirl’s content accordingly. Or, as he puts it: “We’re not gay, we’re not straight. We’re for anyone who likes cock.”

LMAOOOOOO! I mean … wow … for a major publication like this to be pinning its hopes on someone like Levi Johnston, well, it just goes to show what sort of state the publication is in. To be honest, this is prolly the most anyone has ever heard of a single issue of Playgirl magazine EVER! The fact that this story has been broadcast so far and wide means that the mag will surely sell well … and even if it doesn’t, what does Playgirl have to lose? While I don’t believe that Levi‘s issue of Playgirl will break records, I think the interest level is there enough to generate a decent number of sales. Earlier this month we learned that Levi Johnston, babydaddy to Bristol Palin‘s child and all around thorn in former Alaska governor Sarah Palin‘s side, was in talks to pose nekkid for either Playgirl (a nudie publication of men primarily for women) or Unzipped (a nudie publication of men primarily for gay men) and today we learn that Levi decided to go with Playgirl … the only problem is that he has yet to decide if she’s going to show full frontal or puss out and just show his bare ass:

Bristol Palin’s baby daddy Levi Johnston says he’s going to drop his pants for Playgirl — the only problem, he can’t decide which side to show off. We spoke to Levi’s handler — who is not Bristol — who told us he’s either gonna show “the front or the back” when he poses for the magazine sometime this month. We’re told Levi has been hitting the gym preparing for the shoot and has even hired a personal trainer to shape up … because spending that money on baby food and diapers would be too obvious.

I would presume that he will be posing without his child but I wouldn’t be surprised if he used hunting props, etc. for his photospread. My guess is that Levi will try to get away with showing off as little as possible (ie. just his ass) but if Playgirl throws enough money and insistence his way, we might be seeing what the fuss is about up front. I’m of the mind that if you’re gonna pose nekkid, pose nekkid. Pulling a Heidi Montag (ie. a barely PG-13 spread in Playboy magazine) would be incredibly lame … and isn’t he already lame enough? Johnston has few opportunities to make a real splash in the public eye … and wouldn’t nekkid photos of her almost-son-in-law’s wang practically kill Sarah Palin? Do it for your country, Levi! Show us the p33n!!
