The world premiere of the new Disney action film Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides took place on Main Street inside Disneyland in Anaheim, CA last night and a veritable who’s who of big name celebs were in the hizzy for the main event. Among the biggest stars in attendance was Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Goofy, Donald Duck and others. Oh yeah, there were some Hollywood celebs at the event as well. Earlier this month we got to see a dramatic poster for the upcoming sequel film Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides that featured a very dramatic-looking Captain Jack Sparrow and today we get to see a new poster that features the mermaid characters that will be seen in the film. As I understand it, these mermaids aren’t really very friendly … but they sure are alluring and beautiful. Check out the poster below.

Back in December we got to check out the very first movie trailer for the upcoming sequel film Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides and today we get to check out the just-released second trailer for the film. As you may know, Captain Jack Sparrow and his cohorts are in search of the Fountain of Youth in this film and they discover that the key to finding the fountain is to first find a mermaid. Check out the trailer below to see what sort of adventure/danger comes with the search for the Fountain of Youth.

Previously we’ve seen a first movie trailer, a few promo photos and even a magazine cover … but today we finally get to check out the first official poster released for this Spring’s much-anticipated sequel film Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides. This first poster only features Captain Jack Sparrow (played by Johnny Depp) but I suspect we’ll be seeing more character posters soon. Check out this first Pirates poster below.

Last month we got our first look at a batch of promo images from Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides and today we get to feast our eyes on a new batch of photos. Of import this time around is a much clearer look at Blackbeard the pirate. I wonder what wacky misadventures our beloved Captain Jack Sparrow will get into with this classic character.

Walt Disney Pictures released the first movie trailer for the upcoming sequel film Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides (first at a private fan only event which was attended by Pink readers Lisa and Yvonne) and right now we get to see it for ourselves. On Stranger Tides won’t be in movie theaters until May 20 of next year … but here, at last, is our first look at the film:

This first look at the film has all of the elements that we’ve been hearing about for months now … Penélope Cruz, Blackbeard the Pirate, the mermaids and of course Captain Jack Sparrow. Check out the trailer in full for yourselves, after the jump …

On Monday we got to see some really cool behind-the-scenes footage from the set of Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides and today we get our first look at a batch of new promo pics from the film! Among this collection of photos, we get our first look at the character Blue Beard the pirate! Fun!!

These photos are fun … I’m actually getting more and more excited for the new Pirates film. I know a couple other people who are also excited for the film … Pink readers Lisa and Yvonne. Here is our first look at the first teaser poster released for the upcoming sequel film Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides:

As you may know, On Stranger Tides will be released in theaters on May 20, 2011 and will feature Johnny Depp as Captain Jack Sparrow paired with a new ladylove played by the pregs Penélope Cruz. Altho this poster is fairly simple, I think it kinda cool that the skull appears to be silver. It’s a subtle change that does give a bit of an updated feel for the film. I’m hopeful that the 4th Pirates film will turn out to be a fun, action-packed adventure. I wasn’t all that wowed by the last Pirates film so … I guess we’ll have to wait and see if this latest installment will bring back the fun.
