Without getting into the massive details of the stellar career she has enjoyed for the past 12 years (not including her successes as a child star), I think we can all look back and appreciate what an incredible impact Britney has made on the world of pop culture. People magazine, one of the publications that has always cheered on our girl over the years, has put out a special Britney Spears issue of their magazine in celebration of her 30th birthday. It’s that time of the year again … time for People magazine to crown this year’s Sexiest Man Alive. The folks at People have compiled a list of the sexiest men in Hollywood and have determined that one man is the sexiest of all … and that man is Bradley Cooper. Bradley is featured on the cover and in the pages of this week’s special issue of People but the mag is packed full of other sexy men … from Chris Evans to Joel McHale and everyone in between. A week ago we learned that actress Reese Witherspoon and her finacée Jim Toth got themselves married in a beautiful wedding ceremony in Ojai, CA. Last week the world lost the legendary, iconic actress and humanitarian Elizabeth Taylor and this week People magazine is paying homage to her memory by putting her beautiful face on the cover of their new issue. As far as tributes go, People magazine always tends to do these things very well … so this is an issue that you Elizabeth Taylor fans might want to pick up.

Back in November we learned the happy news that Kelly Preston and John Travolta welcomed the birth of a baby boy they named Benjamin. The news was especially hopeful in the wake of the sad death of the couple’s 16-year old son Jett who tragically passed away in January of 2009. Today we get to meet the newest Travolta as he is introduced to the world on the cover of this week’s issue of People magazine.

Earlier this week we learned that actors Sandra Bullock and Ryan Reynolds were spotted enjoying New Year’s Eve together (with a few of their closest friends) in Austin, TX at Sandy‘s NYE party. Today, the couple are splashed across the cover of US Weekly magazine with the headline, It’s On! Could it be? Are the former BFFs new lovebirds?

Yesterday we got to read excerpts of an interview with new dad Neil Patrick Harris in this week’s issue of People magazine (on newsstands now) where he opens up about being a new dad with partner David Burtka. I speculated that the interview might be accompanied by photos of the twins Harper Grace and Gideon Scott … and I was right. While Time magazine selected Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg as their Person of the Year, People magazine decided to name Sandra Bullock the Woman of the Year for 2010. Sandra graces the cover of the new issue of People magazine (the very issue that will feature Nicole Richie and Joel Madden‘s wedding photos) which is devoted to the 25 Most Intriguing People of the year. Of the actress’s life-altering 2010, says a source, “Bad things happen, but she celebrates the good ones. And Louis is a wonderful celebration of good things.”

Sandra Bullock‘s year was full of the highest highs and the lowest lows … but in the end, as a new mother to her son Louis Bardo, it’s clear that 2010 has been the best year of her life. Despite the horrible things she endured from her cheating slime of an ex-husband, Sandra has managed to revel in professional accolades and personal triumphs. Last weekend, Nicole Richie and Joel Madden got married in a lavish yet intimate ceremony at the Richie mansion in Beverly Hills, CA and today we get our first look at the first wedding photo released from the nuptials. As you may recall, Nic/Joel sold their wedding photos to the highest bidder and plan to donate the money to their favorite charity. Today we learn that People magazine was the highest bidder … behold:

Ever since she was a little girl, there were two things Nicole Richie wanted on the day she married: a show-stopper dress inspired by Grace Kelly’s iconic wedding gown, and a real live elephant for good luck. Both her wishes came true as she married Good Charlotte rocker Joel Madden at her father Lionel Richie’s home on Dec. 11. They tied the knot in front of their children – Harlow, 2, was the flower girl, while 15-month-old Sparrow was the ring-bearer – under a tent transformed to resemble a French garden. “It was magical,” Richie, 29, tells PEOPLE. Adds Madden, 31: “It was the best night of my life.”

The night was so magical that Nicole couldn’t wear just one wedding dress … she had to wear 3 different Marchesa dresses. The dress featured above was made out of 100 yards of hand-draped silk organza and tulle petals. As far as I know, Joel wore only one tuxedo … but if I know my boy Joel, he rocked that bad boy right! All of the photos from Nicole and Joel‘s wedding will be featured in the new issue of People magazine, on stands this week. I can’t wait to get my hands on a copy … I want to see more.
