Back in August we got our first look at the cast of the newest Housewives in the Bravo TV stable of programming — The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Today we get to see photos from the premiere event for the show which was held, naturally, in Beverly Hills, CA last night. In addition to the new Housewives themselves, a plethora of A-List celebs also strutted their stuff down the red carpet at the event — A-Listers like La Toya Jackson, Nicky & Paris Hilton … AND her wonky eye:

The Hilton sisters were there to support their aunts who are featured castmembers of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills … Paris‘s wonky eye was dragged there against its will … poor thing. I have no idea why La Toya Jackson was there … perhaps she saw the red carpet and camera flashbulbs and decided to swing by. To be honest, as much as I enjoy watching the different versions of The Real Housewives, I kinda feel like things are getting out of hand. If anything could kill the successful franchise, it would be the vapid ostentatious of the ladies of Beverly Hills. The Real Housewives of DC really tried my patience last season … it was very boring to watch. I’ll give the Beverly Hills ladies a chance but if they end up sucking, I’ll be out. Are any of y’all planning to watch this newest version of The Real Housewives?

Convicted lovebirds Paris Hilton and Cy Waits, who recently got themselves into a bit of trouble in Las Vegas on charges of drug possession and DUI, ventured out here in Hollywood last night to do whatever it is that these two do when they venture out in Hollywood. Near the end of their night, tho, things got a bit hairy … as the couple were involved in a hit and run accident after Waits allegedly purposely drove his car into a group of paparazzi photogs and ended up pinning one under his car:

Paris Hilton’s boyfriend was cited for hit-and-run last night … after he hit a photog with a Bentley and then just drove off. It all went down as paparazzi swarmed the car as Paris and Cy Waits left Boa in West Hollywood. The posse of paparazzi was all over the car, when suddenly Cy accelerated, knocking a photog down. The couple took off after the hit and the photog called the cops. Paramedics were also called and took the female photog to a local hospital. We’re told at some point later, Cy came back, sans Paris, and spoke with police. Law enforcement sources tell us Cy was cited for hit and run, then allowed to leave. And get this … sources say Paris is saying, “The pap is making up injuries.”

You’d think that the years that Paris Hilton has been courting the paparazzi would teach her how to handle situations like this … but, clearly, she don’t learn so quick. You know, it’s lucky that Paris wasn’t driving the car … can you imagine if she had been arrested? I understand that traffic citations don’t count in terms of her plea bargain but if she gets arrested — for anything at all — she immediately goes to jail in LV. Tsk Tsk. My guess is that Waits will end up getting some small fine for this accident … but the photographer who was injured may decide to sue for injuries. Alas, just another Wednesday night in Hollywood.

After Paris Hilton was first detained by Japanese immigration officials and then was denied entry into the country, poor little Paris was forced to leave the country and return home to the US. Today we get to see photos of pariah Paris as she landed here in SoCal yesterday with her tail firmly between her legs. Additionally, we learn what exactly happened in Japan that forced her expulsion from the Land of the Rising Sun:

Paris Hilton was refused entry to Japan on Wednesday because of a drug conviction, immigration officials said. The American celebrity socialite was expected to head back to the United States late Wednesday afternoon. She had arrived in Japan on Tuesday and had been allowed to spend the night, to see whether immigration officials would reconsider their initial refusal to allow her entry. They stuck by their decision Wednesday, based on her having pleaded guilty to a drug charge earlier in the week in Las Vegas, Nevada. Japan generally denies entry to foreigners who are on probation. Hilton had traveled to Japan because of “business obligations planned many months earlier,” her spokesman said. “Paris was contractually bound to her business trip and didn’t want to let down her brands and many Asian fans,” the spokesman said. Hilton entered guilty pleas to misdemeanor charges of drug possession and obstruction of an officer, but a felony cocaine possession charge was dropped on Monday. She was sentenced to a year on probation, a $2,000 fine and 200 hours of community service … Hilton admitted in court Tuesday that a small amount of cocaine found in her pocketbook was hers.

At last … a punishment for Paris that has a little bite. It seems that Hilton is able to avoid paying any real penalties for her criminal behavior but Japan’s decision to expunge her from their country seems like a pretty effective punishment to me. Not only does it tell Paris that an entire country wants nothing to do with her but it also proves to be a HUGE embarrassment for her. Well done, Japan … well done. Again, it’s hard to feel sorry for someone who is able to fly around the world via private plane so I really feel no sympathy for poor little Paris Hilton. Maybe if she really understands that she needs to be punished for her crimes she’ll actually behave herself.

Yesterday we learned that Paris Hilton flew directly to Tokyo, Japan right after she was forced to appear in open court in Las Vegas, NV to plead guilty to cocaine possession charges. You may recall that we also learned that Paris was detained for about 5 hours by Japanese immigration officials upon her arrival. Today we get to see new photos of Paris Hilton, packed bags in hand, saying Sayonara to Japan as she made her way back home to the US earlier today … about a day after she arrived in Japan:

HMMMM … now it seems to me that one of two things happened to cut Paris‘s visit to Japan so short. Either she was politely informed by the Japanese immigration officials that it would be a good idea to get the Hell out of their country OR Paris didn’t feel welcome enough to want to stay in the country. This is what she tweeted on her official Twitter profile this morning:

“About to take off. Going home now. So dissappointed to miss my fans in Asia. I promise to come back soon. I love you all! Love Paris xoxo”

In either event, Paris put on a brave face as she sauntered toward her private plane and flew home. You will note that Paris arrived in Japan with an entourage, which included her sister Nicky Hilton. You will also note that Paris left Japan earlier today all by her lonesome. Poor thing. Well, I guess very soon she’ll be our problem again … so, yeah, THANKS A LOT, JAPAN!

Yesterday morning we learned that Paris Hilton managed to plea bargain her way out of serving any jailtime for her recent cocaine possession arrest when she appeared in open court in Las Vegas, NV. Today we learn that as soon as Paris was adjourned from court, she boarded a private plane and flew her ass to Tokyo, Japan. But, I understand, upon arrival, Paris was taken into custody by Japanese immigration officials and was held for about 5 hours before she was allowed entry into the country:

The rest of Paris‘s entourage, including her less famous and more insignificant sister Nicky Hilton, were immediately allowed entry into Japan … but Paris, well, it sounds like the immigration folks wanted to have a few words with her. My guess is that because of Paris‘s very widespread notoriety, the immigration officials in Japan wanted to make sure that she was completely clean of any illegal substances before they let her into their country. I would assume that Paris Hilton was squeaky clean because after her 5 hour detention she was allowed entry into the country. It’s not entirely clear how long Miss Hilton will be in Japan but I certainly hope she behaves herself while she’s a guest in their country.

Yesterday we learned that Paris Hilton‘s lawyers managed to secure a plea bargain deal with the Las Vegas District Attorney’s Office so that the felony cocaine possession charges brought against her could be lessened to misdemeanor counts and so that she could be kept out of jail. Just moments ago, Hilton appeared before a judge in Las Vegas to plead guilty to her charges and was sentenced to 6 months in jail which was WAIVED so long as she can get thru the next 12 months without getting arrested. Here are a few screencaps from Paris‘s court hearing just moments ago and deets of what went down:

Paris Hilton just agreed to a plea deal in her cocaine arrest case that will keep from doing any jail time … if she stays out of trouble. Paris pled guilty to drug possession and obstructing an officer (both misdemeanors) and got a year of probation and also must complete an “intensive” substance abuse program, pay a $2,000 fine and serve 200 hours of community service. If she is arrested for anything other than a minor traffic violation, it would be considered a violation of her probation. The judge warned Hilton she must changed her behavior and if she violates the terms of her probation, she will serve the one year at Clark County Detention Center. The judge told Hilton, “The Clark County Detention Center is not the Waldorf Astoria.” Hilton was busted back on August 27 after cops found her in possession of less than a gram of cocaine.

Additionally, Paris has reportedly been telling her friends that she is planning to stay away from the club scene in the coming year so that she will be sure to stay out of trubs and out of jail:

Paris Hilton is telling close friends she’s “over being a party girl” … and wants to “trade in the club scene for a life at home” …. seriously. Paris — who’s scheduled to appear in a Las Vegas courtroom this morning to cop a plea in her drug possession case — is telling friends, “I’m taking this whole ordeal as a wake up call.” Hilton has also said that she’s using this experience to “finally grow up and become a responsible adult” … and wants to spend time volunteering at animal shelters and focusing on her business empire.

And there you have it … Paris Hilton, socialite supreme, has managed to avoid serving jailtime for possession of cocaine … a feat that is not usually accomplished by other, less famous people. Will she be able to stay completely out of trouble for the next 12 months in order to stay out of jail? In all honesty, I can’t wait to find out. Celebrity justice in action, y’all … are you impressed?

Last month we learned that Paris Hilton got herself arrested and charged with cocaine possession while she was partying with her boyfriend Cy Waits in Las Vegas, NV. Since that time, Paris has been spotted vacationing her blues away in Hawaii while she awaited the outcome of the criminal case against her. Well, it turns out that there will no longer be a criminal case against her because her lawyers managed to plea bargain her crime down to a misdemeanor … meaning she will get off with only a slap on the wrists:

Celebrity socialite Paris Hilton has agreed to plead guilty to two misdemeanors in her pending drug possession case, netting her a year of probation but no jail time. Hilton is scheduled to formally plead guilty Monday to misdemeanor drug possession and misdemeanor obstructing an officer before Las Vegas Justice of the Peace Joe Bonaventure. The 29-year-old was arrested late on Aug. 27 on one felony count of cocaine possession after she opened a Chanel flap bag to get some lip balm and a small plastic bag of cocaine fell out, landing in the palm of a Las Vegas police lieutenant. The original felony charge would not have resulted in any jail time. By statute a conviction for felony cocaine possession requires mandatory probation. According to the plea agreement obtained by the Las Vegas Review-Journal, two consecutive six-month sentences in the Clark County Detention Center will be suspended and Hilton will be placed on year long probation. If Hilton is arrested during her probation, she will have to serve a full year in jail, according to the plea deal. “Defendant shall stay out of trouble. Defendant agrees that an arrest for any charge, excluding minor traffic violations for which a citation is issued, shall result in the immediate termination of her probation and the execution of the suspended sentences,” the plea deal states. A minor traffic violation is anything other than a reckless driving or driving under the influence charge. Hilton must also successfully complete a substance abuse program, pay a $2,000 fine and perform 200 hours of community service, according to the plea deal. The nature and location of the community service will be determined later. Clark County District Attorney David Roger said, “We fashioned a resolution which would give us complete control over her future. If she does not toe the line and stay out of trouble she will do one year in the Clark County Detention Center.” Most other defendants would not have a year of jail hanging over their heads for being arrested, Roger said. Normally a conviction would be necessary. “There are very strict limits on her future conduct. We will not have to litigate whether she was convicted of the charge or whether the charge was a major or minor offense,” Roger said. Roger said prison time was not an option because of the limitations on the charge by statute, and that Hilton won’t get special treatment. She will have to walk through the front doors of the courthouse “just like any other criminal defendant,” he said. David Chesnoff, the attorney representing the hotel heiress, could not be reached for comment Friday.

HMMM … I suppose that while Paris is getting off with a slap on the wrists now, she will really be punished if she gets arrested in the coming year. I cannot think of a more successful deterrent than the promise of jailtime for just one arrest. Will Paris learn how to behave and manage to keep herself out of trubs long enough to avoid serving another jail sentence … I guess we shall see.

Back in July we learned that Paris Hilton filmed a music video in Ibiza, Spain that was reportedly to be for the first single from the new album she is threatening to release … today we learn that that report was not entirely true. Paris did film a music video in Ibiza but it was not for her new album … it wasn’t even for a song that she performed. The song titled SuperMartXé VIP and is actually performed by Juanjo Martin, Albert Neve & Nalaya and only features Paris dancing around with other party revelers. American socialite and heiress, Paris Hilton hosted a party at Ibiza’s biggest superclub Privilege back in July presenting ‘The most glamorous and sizzling night of the 2010 summer season’. It was also announced Ms. Hilton would be filming a music video due for release end of August – promoting SuperMartXé weekly parties! She wrote:

“On set of the music video shoot. What an incredible house were shooting at and the weather is just beautiful! I Love Ibiza!’ Later she added: ‘The music video shoot went amazing today! So many incredible dancers and the clothes were so hot! Had so much fun! Can’t wait to see it! :).”

The track from the video is called ‘SuperMartXé VIP’ by Juanjo Martin, Albert Neve & Nalaya and is available on iTunes.

Phew! What a relief! The good news is the dreaded new album from Paris Hilton has yet to manifest … tho, the bad news is that a new music video featuring Paris Hilton has been thrust upon us. OY! Yesterday we got to see a photo of Paris Hilton, who was recently arrested in Las Vegas, NV on charges of cocaine possession, hiding out in a grocery store in Hawaii and today we get to see a few more photos of Paris having the time of her life on the island with her boyfriend (recently arrested for drunk driving) Cy Waits. You’d never guess that Paris was awaiting punishment on felonious drug charges based on these photos alone:

She could be facing a prison sentence following her recent arrest for cocaine possession. But Paris Hilton looked like she didn’t have a care in the world as she went shopping in Hawaii yesterday. The 29-year-old socialite smiled and giggled in a particularly revealing low cut patterned dress as she and her boyfriend Cy Waits went shopping on the island of Maui. Clad in a black vest top and baggy shorts, the 34-year-old also appeared to be having a good time with the star who bought a few pairs of earrings in the boutique. The holiday pictures are the first time the pair have been snapped together since Hilton was arrested for possessing cocaine when her car was stopped by police in Las Vegas late on August 27. Waits, 34, was also arrested for DUI during the night out with his girlfriend. She has been charged with felony possession of a controlled substance, 0.8 grams of cocaine. The socialite could face four years in prison if convicted. She is denying the allegations, claiming the cocaine found, along with the purse, was not hers. She said she had borrowed the purse from a friend.

To be honest, this kind of behavior seems exactly like Lindsay Lohan‘s careless behavior when she jetted off to the Cannes Film Festival just before she got sent to jail. Paris Hilton may be all smiles now but I’m sure she’ll be crying a different tune when she is standing before a Las Vegas judge to answer for her alleged crimes.
