Paris Hilton just debuted her new single/theme song My BFF on On Air with Ryan Seacrest on KIIS FM here in LA … which I present to all y’all for your aural pleasure:

The new track will serve as the theme song for Paris’s new MTV competitive reality TV show Paris Hilton’s My New BFF (which debuts on MTV tonight). You may recall that Paris revealed that her boyfriend and Good Charlotte guitarist Benji Madden is helping her out with her new music (and it is my guess that he most likely provided the lion’s share of help on the creation of this track) which is very evident by the way that is sounds. The song deffo has a Good Charlotte feel to it … and Paris‘s voice does sound a lot more mature. HMMM. What do y’all think?

Paris Hilton is at it again … here is the first promo ad for her 5th, that’s right 5th, celebrity fragrance called Fairy Dust. Now, I dunno why any one person needs to have 5 smells on the market but … here you have it, Fairy Dust by Paris Hilton:

Paris Hilton’s fifth addition to her fragrance empire, Fairy Dust, won’t be hitting stores until the middle of next month, but the reality star is giving PEOPLE an exclusive first look at the new images from her print campaign. The ads for the pink peony, orange blossom, gardenia and vanilla creme scent feature a winged, wand-wielding Paris playing a real-life fairy, and ask, “Do you believe in fairy tales?”

Not that I’ve actually smelled any of them but of Paris‘s now numerous smells, I quite like the ad campaign for this one. I must admit, I do vastly prefer the promo ad campaign for Britney Spears‘s fragrance Fantasy (which looks similar to this ad campaign), I think this is a good way for Paris to go. That Can Can thing she tried with her last fragrance didn’t do it for me. Still … can Paris Hilton pull off the innocent fairy thing? Does this ad campaign resonate with any of y’all?

In what can only be described as the most ridiculous thing that I have *EVER* heard of in the entire history of my hearing things, I feel compelled to pass along this jarring bit of information gleaned from the musings of Paris Hilton. The girl who made a career out of chasing flashbulbs and doing anything and everything to garner the attention of the paparazzi for years and years has come to the conclusion that the paparazzi are “annoying” and is trying to make us believe that she is “fed up” with their presence in her life … like, seriously:

Paris Hilton is fed up with being followed by paparazzi — but has vowed to keep her cool with them. The sexy socialite and hotel heiress — who is one of the most photographed women in the world — says she is constantly taunted by shutterbugs who try and get her hot under the collar — but she always resists the temptation to lash out. She explains, “It is annoying when they are always showing up at your house. I think it is fine at like a movie premiere or an event when they are supposed to be there. But when it is every single day it just gets really tiring. There is nothing you can do about it. They want you to lash out at them so I never do. I have never done that and I never will.”

OK, I can kinda buy that even Paris Hilton is capable of growing up just a little bit and I find it feasible that she can settle down enough to maintain a fairly normal romantic relationship with Benji Madden but the mere thought of Paris Hilton shunning any attention from the paparazzi is just … madness. I mean, seriously, WTF? In actuality, Paris Hilton is probably the single pioneer of the modern paparazzi movement and the notion that she is no longer interested in their attention is … insane. I shant believe it, I vehemently refuse to believe it and I will not spend another second thinking that this could possibly be true by any stretch of the imagination. Nope.

Earlier this week there came a new report that Paris Hilton had not only parted ways with her most recent romantic interest, Benji Madden of Good Charlotte, but had already moved on with My Space CEO Chris DeWolfe after the pair were seen together at a public event. Now, I kinda didn’t believe that the report had any legs from the start (the report actually originated from a tech website) and it seems that I was right … here is a new pic of Paris and Benji together again at JFK International Airport in NYC earlier today lookin’ as happily attached as ever:

While I may not be the biggest fan of these two as an item (I’m not sure if it’s something I can ever get used to) I think it’s pretty clear that they are still happily together … or at the very least are still very friendly. I understand that Paris attended a Good Charlotte concert in NYC as well this week and was seen making her way onto their tour bus. I guess all is still right with these two. Do y’all think it’s good news or bad?

Now, when it comes to Paris Hilton it’s usually not that hard to believe that she is dating one person today and someone else the next but new reports that she is now romantically involved with My Space CEO Chris DeWolfe after it was believed that she was happily dating Benji Madden of Good Charlotte are a bit hard to believe. I mean, it’s totally possible but … mebbe I don’t want to believe that she would do Benji wrong like this?

Facebook may be the king of the Silicon Valley crowd, but Paris Hilton apparently prefers MySpace. 42 year old MySpace cofounder and CEO Chris DeWolfe has been dating 27 year old Paris Hilton for at least a few weeks, sources close to the company confirm. We first got wind of this when we saw DeWolfe in a random video clip with Hilton from last month. He’s also been throwing parties in the Hamptons, and Hilton has been at all of them. Now we’ve got a source in New York that’s confirming the two are dating. DeWolfe is hosting yet another party tonight in the Hamptons, and Hilton will reportedly be there as his date. This is a brilliant marketing move for MySpace (or for Hilton?). Or maybe they actually like each other. All we’ve confirmed is that they are definitely dating. As far as we can tell DeWolfe still has a wife (but is reportedly separated) and Hilton still has an official boyfriend, but whatever, this is Hollywood. Best of luck to both of them.

Now, just because Hilton and Wolfe were seen together doesn’t mean that they’re actually dating … and I can’t even believe I’m saying this myself but I’m having a hard time believing this report is actually true. Trust me, I’m not the biggest Paris Hilton fan on Earth but I can’t believe she could be so happy with Benji Madden and then immediately start dating someone else. Have I totally lost my mind? I barely batted an eyelash when this has happened before (all those numerous times) but this time … I dunno, is it wrong to put this much faith in Paris Hilton?

In the annuls of modern history, rarely (if ever) have we been presented with a competitive reality television show that attempts to award one lucky contestant with a prize so great, so desirous that the mere thought of winning such a prize seems … almost dreamlike. Here is the first cast photo of the young hopefuls that will be vying for the coveted position of Paris Hilton‘s New BFF:

A group of 20 women will live together and compete in various challenges, in order to be anointed Paris Hilton’s new best friend.

Uhh, I love how the contestants are labeled as “20 women” when you can see that there is at least one guy in the mix. LOL! Honestly, I think any person who is so willing to endure the travails presented to them in order to be Paris Hilton‘s BFF absolutely deserves everything they have coming to them. Good luck!

Paris Hilton has taken to the blogosphere to refute reports that she tried to buy a puppy to use in a photoshoot from a pet store on Melrose Ave. in LA last week (only to be denied by the pet store who believed the purchase was an “impulse buy”) and writes that no such incident ever occurred. Furthermore, Paris goes on to explain how much she cares for her numerous pets … and manages to throw in a plug for her new MTV competitive reality TV show I Wanna Be Paris’s New Best Friend!. Hi guys, hope you all had a great weekend! I just shot the finale for my BFF show and I can’t wait for you all to see it … I’ll let you all know when it premieres, it’s going to be amazing and everyone did such an incredible job.

I wanted to let you know that I’ve been getting messages and reading stories about an incident that supposedly happened with me and a pet store: I was catching up on news last week only to read a story about me walking by some puppies for sale, and demanding that I be given a Yorkie puppy to be an accessory for a photo shoot. These stories have gotten out of control and I want to clear some things up-

I wasn’t looking for a new pet, I wasn’t even at a photo shoot that day, (I was down the street at Benji’s DCMA clothing store) and I actually have a Yorkie puppy. I love animals and the cruel things people say are not acceptable. Puppies are not accessories or toys and I love my own pets dearly — I treat them as if they were my children. Of course I support pet adoption from shelters, and I made sure that my BFF show involved a local one to spread the word about how these animals need loving owners. So it is sad that someone felt the need to invent a story about me throwing a fit for a dog that would “go with my outfit.”

I have no idea where people come up with these stories and they are spreading to so many news outlets that I just have to speak my mind and clear things up, especially with my fans. I love you all and appreciate your messages, as always.

Well, I’m glad she straightened all of that up. On the real, I never really believed this piece of goss when it first came out last week. While I don’t necessarily disbelieve that employees at a pet store would deny Paris Hilton the purchase of a pooch, I find it highly unlikely that Paris would let any such denial keep her from procuring the pooch in question. Basically, Paris Hilton gets what Paris Hilton wants. That said, I am heartened that Paris would so publicly proclaim her penchant for serious puppy care (since she has so many of them) and would like to take her statements at face value. As I’ve mentioned previously, I’m impressed that Paris has cleaned up her act in recent months (after starting up her latest relationship with Benji Madden of Good Charlotte) and am willing to give her the benefit of the doubt. Call me crazy but I do believe that people can change. Paris may not have changed her ways after serving her jail sentence last summer but, thus far, it looks like Benji‘s lurve has been a good influence on her. I just hope she stays a good girl.

So how’s this for odd behavior … Paris Hilton, who is currently in NYC, was snapped sneaking out the backdoor of Club Marquee on her way to Club 1 Oak last night — and she actively tried to hide her face from view behind her purse … like, she was actually trying to avoid being photographed … like, WTF?!?

In recent weeks, I’ve noticed that Paris has really been cleaning up her act. Since she started dating Benji Madden of Good Charlotte, Paris has put her partying on lock-down, has been dressing more conservatively and more classily (is that even a word?) and has managed to keep control of herself in such a manner as to avoid getting into trubs — there’s been nary a nip slip or crotch shot in months! And now she’s decided she no longer wants attention from the paparazzi?! I’m shocked and aghast. I don’t know if this is the sort of behavior we should expect from Paris from here on out but … I’m just trying to pick my chin up off the floor so I can process properly. I mean … seriously … WTF?!

In recent weeks, I’ve commented extensively on how happy and proud I am that Britney Spears has made a successful bid to clean up her act, to get her life back on track and to bring an end to the dangerous and trashy behavior that she had been engaged in (and that was essentially killing her). I’ve lately come to see that Paris Hilton, yes the Paris Hilton, has kind of done the same thing. Ever since she started her relationship with Benji Madden of Good Charlotte (a relationship that I, honestly, never envisioned in the first place), Paris has stayed out of the party scene and has settled down … a lot.
