Paris Hilton and Doug Reinhardt got into an epic fight early this morning … so much so the LAPD responded to a call — “Drunk people arguing” — this, according to law enforcement sources. It happened a few hours ago in the Hollywood Hills. An eyewitness tells us he saw Paris in her driveway and Doug getting in his car, when Paris began screaming, “Don’t go, don’t go!” The eyewitness tells us Doug got out of the car and the lovebirds began “shoving each other.” The last the eyewitness saw Paris and Doug go back up the driveway. According to law enforcement, cops spoke to Paris and left.

HMMM … if memory serves, this is something like the fourth time that Pug Dilton got into some sort of argument that involved physical contact between the feuding parties. Just a couple of weeks ago, it was reported that Doug tried to choke Paris but the incident was laughed off as they were “only joking” and were seen making out in public the next day to try and brush the incident under the rug. As much as I think that Paris and Doug are the perfect kind of people for one another, I have a horrible feeling that their relationship is unhealthy (to say the least) and possibly dangerous (at the very worst). My guess is that nothing will come of this latest incident … my hope is that these altercations do not escalate into something worse.

Yes folks, Pug Dilton were back to their grossly inappropriate ways as they stepped out for dinner at Boa in West Hollywood, CA last night … clearly it’s a short trip from alleged choking to confirmed spit swapping. While I sincerely hope that no violent physicality transpires between these two, I guess only they know if they are truly made for one another. They seem well suited for one another … I say, let them have each other.

Fright Night turned really scary for Paris Hilton. The party-hearty heirhead and her boyfriend du jour, Doug Reinhardt, were spotted in an apparent boozy grapple early yesterday — with him reaching from the back of their limo to put his hand around her throat in a move that stunned even jaded Sunset Boulevard denizens. “She was mad,” said lensman Ramon Alves. “She jumped in the front seat and [Doug] was holding her around the neck saying, ‘Relax, relax.’ ” Hilton, 28, and Reinhardt, 24, started out Halloween night sporting goofy, matching tooth-fairy outfits at a bash thrown by “Project Runway” glamour girl Heidi Klum and her singer-husband, Seal, in West Hollywood. The pair then took off in a limo to The Roosevelt hotel in Hollywood for another round of partying. At around 3:30 a.m., Paris & Co. left the Roosevelt, pouring into their limo for the ride home. “You could see them chugging from a bottle inside the car,” said another witness. But the action was just getting started. At the corner of La Brea and Sunset Boulevard, the reality star’s cellphone was launched out the window. The limo came to an abrupt stop, and a tipsy Paris stumbled out, peering up and down the street to find her phone as traffic — and pedestrians — came to a halt. “She was staggering down the street, up and down,” the second witness said. Failing to find her phone — it was later located and returned by a paparazzo — Hilton climbed back into the limo and began ranting at Reinhardt for throwing it out the window, the witness said. She also started slapping and kicking as he grabbed her and tried to fend her off. His left hand had a firm grip on her throat, according to the witness. “And the guy they were with was trying to block anyone from taking pictures,” the witness said. “It got very physical. The limo driver was horrified!” The incident was witnessed by several photographers … A call to a Hilton spokeswoman was not immediately answered. No police report was filed on the couple’s Halloween incident.

This is not the first time we’ve heard of Doug getting physically violent with Paris. As you may recall, Pug Dilton reportedly got into a physical fight which resulted in tears from Paris and sparked the couple’s break-up shortly thereafter. Just a few weeks after that incident, tho, Paris got back together with Doug and all was right with the world again. Now we not only hear that Doug put his hands on Paris, we SEE what looks like photographic evidence. My guess is that Paris will prolly downplay the whole incident and say the couple were just joking around … but it is my sincere wish that if Doug Reinhardt really does get physically violent with her that she dump his ass immediately. Paris Hilton may not be my fave person in the world but I would never, ever want her or anyone else to endure this type of treatment from anyone. Again, we don’t know for sure what exactly happened … so it’s really going to have to be up to Hilton herself to determine what sort of treatment she is willing to endure from the man in her life.

I understand that Heidi has been planning this year’s costume since July … she made quite a scary-looking bird. The SKYY Vodka sponsored event was held at Voyeur in West Hollywood, CA and managed to inspire Eliza Dushku and beau Rick Fox to dress up as vampire/zombie versions of Bonnie & Clyde … the affair also inspired Paris Hilton and beau Doug Reinhardt to dress up as a swan and the Tooth Fairy respectively … and inspired Rachel Zoe to dress up as her usual scary self …. EEEEEERIE!! As far as Hallowe’en parties go, it’s tough to outdo Heidi Klum’s annual affair … it looks like it was a grand time, indeed.

Watching “Michael Jackson’s This Is It” will have fans grieving once again, but this time, it won’t only be for the fallen King of Pop, but for what we lost — a brilliant entertainer who gave every inch of his body and soul for what might have been one of the most spectacular comebacks of all time. Jackson never got to complete that comeback, dying days before his London concerts were to begin in July, but “This Is It,” culled from hundreds of hours of rehearsal footage for those shows, does it for him. Even though it’s been well edited, the amazing performances Jackson delivers in this film are not a result of camera magic, but Jackson’s own. When Jackson announced his “This Is It” concerts earlier this year, many wondered whether Jackson had any magic left at all. Besides his tattered reputation, he was rumored to be in frail health and hadn’t performed a major concert in almost a decade. There were well-deserved skepticism about whether Jackson had the vocal and physical agility to stage the kind of concerts that wowed fans in his prime two decades earlier. “This is It” gives both answers an emphatic yes. Even though Jackson’s looks — with his weirdly delicate face and his stick-thin frame — still makes one squirm with discomfort, once he starts to perform, that discomfort gives way to amazement. At 50, Jackson was still an amazingly gifted dancer with moves that leave your mouth agape. Though we only see him do the moonwalk once, and just fleetingly, his stop-on-a-dime spins, deft footwork and body jerks recall the Jackson the world fell in love with 25 years earlier with “Thriller.” And Jackson’s voice still dazzles — even when he’s trying to play it down. “I’m trying to conserve my voice,” Jackson says at one point — then delivers a vocal that is spine-tingling — and these are just run-throughs, not the actual show. Fans never get to see what would have been the “This Is It” concert — full dress rehearsals weren’t due to happen until the show went overseas for final rehearsals. Instead, the movie takes from segments of taped rehearsals, and also weaves in film segments Jackson planned for the concert to give at the very least an idea of how the concert might have looked. A graveyard scene meant to be in 3D was planned for Jackson’s performance of “Thriller,” and a computer-animated dancing army would have accompanied Jackson on screen for a militaristic version “They Don’t Care About Us.” Jackson kept much of the same moves from his classic “They Way You Make Me Feel” video — including the floor humping — as well as the groundbreaking choreography from his “Beat It” clip. But whether it was through new visuals and different musical arrangements, he appeared to be breathing new life into his well-worn catalog, promising fans a show that would have taken Jackson and his fans to new heights. Jackson is gentle but authoritative as he demands perfection from his crew, whether it’s gently taking the audio crew to task for making his earpiece too loud or attempting to elicit a grand performance from his young star guitarist. “This is your time to shine,” he says in that famously soft soprano voice before delivering a high wail and challenging her to do the same on her guitar. The film doesn’t give viewers much insight into Jackson outside of performance mode — we only see him rehearsing or hear him talking about music, or the meaning of his songs. Yet the film does give a glimpses into Jackson’s personality — alternatively playful and shy, firm yet understanding, often saying phrases like “with love” after giving a command. The film also splices together different performances of the same song at times, leaving one to wonder why. Is it for a visual effect? Or did he not complete enough in one take? Thankfully, there appears to be enough full takes so one’s mind does not play into conspiracy theories. There were certainly critics of “This Is It” before its release — those who wondered whether it would be an exploitative flick, a quick attempt to cash in on his newfound popularity, and those who felt the preparations for the concert contributed to his death. But “This Is It” is a beautifully made, loving tribute that gives Michael Jackson what he so desperately wanted — affirmation that he indeed was the greatest entertainer of our time.

Some friends and I got to see the film last night and I’ll post my review of the film a little later on. Last night’s LA premiere was a who’s who of the Hollywood glitterati and members of the Jackson family who can’t seem to shy away from the spotlight. I understand that Paula Abdul referred to the Jacksons as “the Johnsons” and Jermaine Jackson brought a change of clothes so that he could wear two outfits for the premiere. Both of those strange occurrences are not connected, I just thought I’d share. I’m sure many of y’all saw the film last night as well or are planning to see it during it’s limited 2 week theatrical engagement. I’m very curious to hear what others thought … was this the film that the world has been waiting for?

It’s clear that Hello Kitty appeals, on some level, to a lot of different people … including rockers like Dave Navarro of Jane’s Addiction and Pete Wentz of Fall Out Boy. I gotta admit, even I have a soft spot in my heart for the cute little kitty. It’s crazy to think that Hello Kitty is 35 years old … cuz she still looks as young as ever. It’s gotta be botox. In any event, I hope y’all will join me in wishing Hello Kitty a happy 35th and if you’re in the neighborhood, make sure you check out this Three Apples exhibit … it looks like the perfect place to get your cute overload fix.

From the looks of it, it doesn’t look like Bentley (who is, like, the cutest little chimpanzee I ever did see) was too happy about having to get smooched by Paris Hilton. So … do you wanna call the ASPCA or should I?

What’s even more shocking is that Paris went shopping at one of the best book stores in LA — Book Soup on Sunset Blvd. At first, Paris was seen perusing a book titled The 48 Laws of Power … here is a book description:

The thought of Paris Hilton actually reading a book — any book — just hurts my head. Paris Hilton may be famous for doing very outrageous things … but this has to take the cake.

From what I understand, Pug Dilton were only in Venice for a short while … they did some sightseeing and then attended this premiere and are now on their way back home to LA. It’s curious that they would fly all the way to Venice for just one premiere, particularly since a cursory check at IMDB shows that Paris has nothing at all to do with the film. No matter, I’m just happy to see that Pug Dilton are still happily attached to one another … which means the world is safe for every one else who will be spared from either Paris or Doug’s communicable love.

LOL … how much do you wanna bet this is less a matter of Paris Hilton’s overriding work ethic and more a matter of this being the first time she’s ever laid eyes on her lines of script? It’s only marginally hilarious how she made sure that the paps got a great shot of her actually reading the script, as if to say to the world, Look, World, I can read! With all the cool Twilight kids and Zac Efron roaming the streets of Vancouver these days, I suspect we’ll be seeing Paris doing some roaming of her own. Even tho she may be Tardy to the Party, my guess is that she’ll throw herself into the mix in no time.
