Hugh Jackman (who made an appearance at the People’s Choice Awards here in LA a couple of weeks ago) and his family — including kiddies Oscar Maximilian and Ava Eliot — have made their way down to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil for a little work as well as a little rest & relaxation. Hugh Jackman enjoyed a fun snow day with his children in NYC this weekend as they enjoyed a playdate with Cate Blanchett‘s sons Dashiell John, Roman Robert and Ignatius Martin. Hugh‘s kiddies Oscar Maximilian (pictured) and Ava Eliot got into an epic snowball fight with the Blanchett boys which looked so fun that Hugh had to get in on the action as well … behold:

I’ve said it before, I’ll say it again … Hugh Jackman looks like an awesome dad. Not only does he like to have fun with his own children but he also likes to have fun with his children’s friends. This snowball fight look like so much fun, especially for Hugh. I’m thinkin’ the best years are yet to come for the Jackman children. With a loving father like this taking care of them, they appear to be the richest kids in the world.

Aren’t they just the perfect picture of happy family bliss? While I am none too pleased that the Fall season has come upon us so quickly, I’m glad to see that some folks are able to enjoy it. I’m quite happy with the heat that we still have in SoCal and look forward to many more weeks of soaring temps. But, these photos of the Jackmans enjoying a day at the pumpkin patch does paint a very nice picture of the season. It looks like everyone is having a lot of fun … especially Hugh with his two pink ponies ;)

I suppose I should note that Hugh’s wife and the kids mother Deborra-Lee Furness was in attendance at this cute birthday lunch but, dagnabbit, if she didn’t get cut out of the photos again. It’s been some time since we’ve seen Hugh out and about with his kiddies … and now that the Summer weather is heating up, I’m hoping we’ll get to see more pics of Hugh wearing as little clothing as possible ;) Oh yeah … and Happy Birthday, Ava Eliot!

Hugh Jackman, who made his way to SoCal earlier this week to take part in a hand/footprint ceremony at Grauman’s Chinese Theater, took his entire family for a fun day at Disneyland in Anaheim, CA yesterday afternoon so that they could take a bit of a break from all of the promo work he’s been doing for his new film X-Men Origins: Wolverine which opens in theaters on May 1. Yes, the visit to Disneyland wasn’t just fun for Hugh (who, I understand, had a blast riding all the rides) but the trip was meant mainly for his young children (at least, that’s what he wants you to believe). Over the weekend we saw pics of Hugh Jackman and his children Oscar and Ava enjoying some playtime together at a park in NYC before going on a bike ride together … today, the activity du jour is soccer:

Le sigh. Hugh is lookin’ good in his black ensemble … everything fits just right and he looks cool as hell. I shant reiterate just how lucky I think his children are to have such a devoted father but I will call to all y’all’s attention just how happy his kiddies look. Thus far, it looks like the Jackman family is having a great time in NYC … who says you need to jet off to the tropics to enjoy the holidays?

While other celebs have made their way to the sunnier climates of the tropics, Hugh Jackman and his family made their way to NYC this week to spend their holidays in the Big Apple. Earlier this week we saw pics of Hugh lookin’ hawt all by his lonesome and today we get to see pics of Hugh lookin’ hawt with his children Oscar and Ava … behold:

As always, it’s a great sight to see Hugh with his kiddies … he spends so much time with them no matter where in the world they are. He looks like a great dad. Altho these photos don’t offer us the usual level of nekkidness that we’ve come to expect of Hugh Jackman, they are still great pics if only cuz Hugh in daddy mode is prolly the hottest mode of all.

Okay, seriously … no celeb father spends as much time playing with his kids as Hugh Jackman does. While there may be other celeb dads who spend a lot of time with their kids, I can’t think of another who spends as much time playing with his children as Hugh does. Over the weekend, we got to see a few hawt pics of Hugh doing a bit of training with his personal trainer at Bondi Beach in Sydney, Australia and today we get to see a few more pics of the wet and half-nekkid Hugh … but this time, he’s enjoying a day at the pool with his children Oscar and Ava … behold:

Dang … wouldn’t it be amazing to be able to enjoy a playdate with Hugh Jackman? I mean … yeah. Anyways … Hugh‘s playtime with the kiddies this weekend wasn’t relegated to just wet fun … he and daughter Ava (dressed as Snow White) spent some time at a local park as well:

All I know is that Hugh Jackman looks like a fun dad. Those kids are very lucky to have him. And we are very lucky to watch them sometimes. Le sigh.

Aussie hottie Hugh Jackman stepped out with his wife Deborra-Lee Furness in Syndey, Australia last night for a celebratory dinner in honor of Hugh‘s 40th birthday (which is today). The happy couple were joined by business partner John Palermo (not pictured) for dinner at the Royal Motorboat Club in Sydney. Here are a couple pics of Hugh and Deborra-Lee as they made their way into the venue:

First off, much birthday lurve goes out to Mr. Jackman on the occasion of his 40th bday. I must admit, if this is what 40 looks like then sign me up ;) I sincerely hope he has a great day and an amazing year to come. Now … as much as I love me some Hugh Jackman, I think it’s safe to assume that he is just a wee bit more lovable the less clothing that he is actually wearing. Hugh took his kids Oscar and Ava for a pre-birthday pool party on Friday afternoon … which, I’m sure you know, means the dress code was much less stringent than it is at the Royal Motorboat Club.
