Last month, In Touch Weekly magazine reported that Jessica Simpson was pregnant with her first child. At the time, Jess had absolutely nothing to say on the report … she neither confirmed nor denied that she was pregs. Today it’s OK! magazine’s turn to report that Jessica IS, pregnant! Jess is featured on the cover of this week’s new issue of OK! splashed with the headline, Yes, I Am Pregnant!

The coverstory of this week’s issue of OK! magazine makes the bold claim that sisters Britney and Jamie Lynn Spears are planning a double wedding in order to marry their respective beaus Jason Trawick and Casey Aldridge … but as cute and completely ridiculous as this story is, it turns out NOT to be true:

It turn[s] out that Britney Spears and Jamie Lynn Spears are not planning a double wedding just like a swirling report has suggested recently. A source close to the “Toxic” singer [makes clear] that “there is no truth” to the rumor, while Jamie’s pal added the story was made up. The double wedding report was first run by OK! Magazine. The mag claimed both Britney and Jamie were excited about idea to “marry their boyfriends, Jason Trawick and Casey Aldridge, in a spectacular double wedding!” The mag further mentioned that Spears sisters would have their kids as “ring bearers and the flower girl” while they walked each other down the aisle. Meanwhile, Jason was reportedly thrilled about the joint-nuptials idea as well. A source said, “Jason said it would be bigger than a royal wedding.” “Britney’s eyes lit up… A Spears-girls double wedding would be a huge attention-getter,” the source further claimed. As for the guests listed for the ceremony, the mag revealed some big names including Oprah Winfrey, U.S. President Barack Obama and Lady GaGa.

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA! I mean … c’mon. I must admit, there are quite a few tabloid magazine stories that have a hint of truth to them even if they are completely fabricated … but this ridiculous b.s. about a double Spears sister wedding is totally laughable. Once you get to the guestlist which reportedly includes Oprah, Obama and Gaga you *have* to know it’s complete fiction. As much as *I* would love the cheeky ridiculous of a double wedding as imagined by OK! magazine, I felt it was my duty to help clear up this outlandish rumor. Hahahahaha … it’s like, OK! wasn’t even trying to make this bologna sound believable. Ah well, better luck next time.

On Monday we learned that Bethenny Frankel, castmember of The Real Housewives of NYC, got hitched to Jason Hoppy in a lavish wedding Sunday afternoon that was taped for the upcoming new reality TV show Bethenny’s Getting Married. It’s really fantastic to see Bethenny look so happy. The poor woman has spent her whole life working so hard and lookin’ for love in all the wrong places, you can’t help but cheer for her that she finally found her Prince Charming. I kinda also love that Bethenny got married while being pregs … I guess when it rains, it pours! It really seems like she’s found all the things in live that she’s been lookin’ for. Rihanna, who is very fond of tattoos — both getting them and giving them, has gotten herself inked again and is showing off her newest tat to OK! magazine. Ri Ri decided to get her new life’s motto tattooed on her chest … here are a few pics of her new tattoo:

Say what you will about Rihanna, but the woman doesn’t do things halfheartedly. Last night, the Rated R singer headed to NYC tattoo parlor East Side Ink — one of her favorites — and had her personal motto etched indelibly into her skin forever. “She came in at about 2:00 A.M.,” East Side Ink owner and artist Keith “Bang Bang” McCurdy tells OK! exclusively. “She told me in advance she’d be coming, and then when she got there, she told me what she wanted: ‘Never a failure, always a lesson,’ but written backwards.” Bang Bang continues, “I asked her why she wanted that and she said, ‘It’s kind of my motto in life for everything.’ Instead of considering things to be mistakes, considering them lessons.” He explains that RiRi, who he says is “doing great,” wanted the phrase done in backwards writing so she would be able to read it in the mirror. Because this piece of body art is so personal to Rihanna, the pop superstar decided she didn’t want this new ink to be as obvious as the ones she already sports. “She said that she wanted to do it in gray, rather than black, because she wanted it to be more subtle,” explains Bang Bang. “She didn’t want it to draw too much attention.”

Yeah, the best way to avoid a lot of attention is to hand the photos over to a tabloid magazine. Nonetheless, I kinda love that she decided to get her new life’s motto “Never a failure. Always a lesson.” tattooed backwards so that she can read it in the mirror … that’s a pretty cool idea. I don’t expect that this will be the last of Rihanna‘s tattoo work but my guess is that it will most likely be her most personal.

Kathy Griffin, who just last weekend hosted the A-List Awards for Bravo TV here in SoCal, is featured in the new issue of OK! magazine showing off her rockin’ bikini bod … like, for real … check it out:

Kathy Griffin’s got a hot body and she isn’t afraid to show it! “I’ve become insufferable, tormenting my friends, saying, ‘Do you know I have a banging bikini bod?’ That should be my new name: Banging Bikini Bod Griffin,” she jokes to OK!. She recently showed off her slim figure during an outing with Paris Hilton. “A lot more guys were looking at me than Paris,” says Kathy, who, at 5 feet, 3 inches, weighs a svelte 118 pounds. “Granted, they were gay, but they were checking out my hot ass!” Don’t stare too hard though, fellas – Kathy says she’s not just another pretty face. “I am more than a golden, tanned sexpot. I am a woman, damn it, with thoughts and feelings!” she tells OK!. So how does she keep her trim figure? “I work out five days a week for an hour to an hour and a half, and my personal trainer comes to the house,” she reveals. “I need to have my ass kicked.” The reality star also claims her curves are au natural, telling OK! she hasn’t had any work done recently. “Not since 2003 when I had a face-lift,” she explains. “My breasts are very real and very floppy. Alanis Morissette who spent much of 2008 losing the battle of the bulge has take control of her weight issues and is showing off her hot new bod in the pages of the new issue of OK! magazine. Less than a year ago, Alanis Morissette found herself in a heavy situation: the once-svelte rock star had packed on weight, and the processed food she’d been eating left her feeling unhealthy. Determined to get back on track, Alanis turned to Dr. Joel Fuhrman’s book Eat to Live, a plan that recommends consuming fruit, vegetables, beans and nuts, and avoiding meat and dairy products. Alanis’ vegan diet — one of the more popular in Hollywood these days — has helped her shed 20 pounds since she began the new regime in September. Now, the 34-year-old singer who redefined “ironic” is proud to show off her new shape and share her dieting tips with OK! readers.

OK!: How does it feel to have lost 20 pounds?
I feel like a 12-year-old! I’m back to what I was born to be, at my best. I used to get out of bed in the morning and things were aching, and I just thought, this is what happens when you get into your 30s. But now I jump out of bed and have so much energy; I feel very alive. Even after a workout, I feel like if I rest a little bit I could go out dancing all night, so that’s exciting. I have no more aches and pains, and my allergies are gone, too.

OK!: What were you eating that made you gain weight?
A lot of salt and processed grains like bread. I was a sandwich person, and if I had rice, I would pack the salt on.

OK!: Why did you overeat?
All the restrictions and limitations I’d placed upon myself for many years were let loose. I think it was a rite of passage for me. At 21, I was touring with Jagged Little Pill, so I didn’t experience the footloose and fancy-free passage that most people do in their teens and early 20s. My whole life I’ve been overly responsible. So I was fantastically indulgent for a good nine months. I knew it would be a temporary thing, and it was fun. There was a sexiness to my curvier self that I loved.

OK!: Why did you want to find a new eating plan?
Longevity. I realized I want to live till I’m 120. There’s a lifestyle that I am how happily creating that can, as best as is possible, prevent most forms of cancer and other diseases.

OK!: How did you come to choose Dr. Joel Fuhrman’s program?
I went to my favorite bookstore, Banyen Books and Sound, in Vancouver. I saw this book, Eat to Live, and I thought, that’s exactly what I want to do. I wasn’t interested in some fad diet that was unsustainable, like “lose 10 pounds in two weeks.” I don’t believe in diets; I think they’re short-term and a bit of an emotional roller-coaster. So I opened it and flipped through and thought the weight loss is incidental. The primary focus is disease prevention.

OK!: What is your workout routine?
When I’m out on tour, my shows are so physical that that really takes care of it. When I’m not on tour, I do between a half hour to an hour of light weights, running, biking, swimming, probably five times a week. I also love to kickbox and dance.

OK!: What does your boyfriend (attorney Tom Ballanco) think of your weight loss?
He just cares about my well-being. He thought I was sexy at whatever weight that I’ve been. I’ve never felt loved in that way before.

OK!: Will your next big project be to plan a wedding?
I could see in the not too distant future being married with children, absolutely, but I’m in no crazy rush. I wildly respect him. How he views the world, the lens through which he looks at life is very similar to mine. To have that in common makes me sleep well at night.

I imagine that Alanis had a pretty tough time getting over the loss of her fiancée Ryan Reynolds, especially when he secretly wed Scarlett Johansson out of nowhere back in September so I can’t fault the girl for indulging in comfort food. In fact, I don’t think she looked at all bad anytime this year … well, except when she got that tiger tattoo on her arm. But there is no denying (ugly outfits notwithstanding) that she looks utterly amazing now. It really sounds like she’s got a new lease on life and is really happy with Tom. It’s great seeing Alanis look so hawt … but more importantly, it’s even better seeing her so happy.

Britney Spears is featured in the new issue of OK! magazine in a new interview where she opens up about a various range of topics from her childhood, to her feelings on being a role model to … soccer and David Beckham. You landed your big break on The Mickey Mouse Club aged 11. Have you ever felt that you lost your childhood?

I only did the show for two years, and for six months out of each year I was at home all the time. I had a wonderful childhood I was probably in my tenth year of school when I left to record my album – so I did the whole prom thing and played on the basketball team. There are some kids in show business who are always in New York and constantly going to audition, but I was fortunate it wasn’t like that for me.

When did you decide that you wanted to be a performer?

It was when I was on the Mickey Mouse Club that I realized I had a major love of music. We were involved in concerts and were in the recording studio, and I was like: “I want to go for this!” When the show was canceled, it was sad, I just wanted to get back out there again. That’s when I went to Jive records and they signed me.

You once said it’s scary to be a role model. Why is that?

Because I make mistakes. If I do something wrong, I don’t want teenagers to feel like they should go out and do that as well. If you’re a role model, that’s what happens.

You mean it’s a lot of responsibility?

Yes, I don’t like that. I’m just human.

Do you feel as though the public doesn’t get to see the real Britney?

Everyone reckons I’m naïve. When I’m on stage, they definitely see the real me. When I’m not performing, they just have me down as some girl with blonde hair. Someone once asked me, “Do you think that because you’re blonde, you have more fun?” I was like “No, not at all!” Its just this is how I look and what works on top of what I do’ You should be happy for a person, not just assume they are a certain way.

In trying to be successful, can you be over-ambitious?

Yes. I think I have that problem. I honestly do. I’m such a perfectionist sometimes. It has its good points, but then it has its bad points because you’re never satisfied. I don’t think you should ever be completely satisfied as then you’re putting a limit on yourself. You should be happy with the person you are on the inside, but on the outside you should always be trying to strive for more.

And does that make you happy?

You end up driving yourself crazy because you’re never pleased with the finished project. You’re always like ‘Well if I’d done it like this, then it probably would’ve been a lot better’.

If you have to choose between career or family, what would come first?

I would choose both. Why not? But, of course, If it really came down to it, family!

What about getting older? Is it possible to age within pop business?

Yes, definitely. Madonna is proof of that.

Soccer is getting bigger and bigger in America. Who is your favorite player, and are you any good at the sport?

David Beckham – he’s a cutie. I am not a very good soccer player, so I have to get someone to help me. Maybe he can …

Do you like being challenged and trying new things?

Oh Definitely!! That’s why every award show I attend, I do a different performance. I always change it up a lot, and it’s good for the fans too as they got to see me more. I’m always trying to set myself new goals. You have to do that to be on top.

How do you hope to be remembered?

That I was just able to put a smile on people’s faces. That saw me in a movie and they left the movie theater feeling good, or they saw me dancing and it inspired them.

New parents Jamie Lynn Spears and Casey Aldridge have, reportedly, reached out to OK! magazine in an effort to combat the rumors going around about their relationship as a couple. This week’s issue of OK! features an older photo (taken during new baby Maddie Briann‘s first photoshoot for the mag) of the couple behind the headline, I’m No Cheater … behold:

In a rare, exclusive interview, new parents Jamie Lynn Spears and Casey Aldridge have reached out to OK! to defend themselves and their relationship against the tidal wave of rumor that has nagged them since the June 19 birth of their adorable baby daughter, Maddie Briann. A recent series of scurrilous tabloid stories have alleged that not only has 19-year-old Casey been unfaithful to Jamie Lynn, but that he’s also gotten another woman pregnant. The stories insist that the couple’s relationship is a sham and that he is still seeing other girls! On the topic of former friend Kelli Dawson, who claims to have been romantically involved with Casey, even after Maddie’s birth, he tells OK! these allegations of infidelity are “not the least bit” true. “In a small town, everybody knows everybody,” he explains. “But when money’s involved, you find out who your friends are.” As for reports he impregnated Kelli, a stunned Casey told OK!, “That’s news to me.” “That is just completely fabricated,” adds Jamie Lynn. “He never had an intimate relationship with her, so how would that be possible? Around here, that particular girl is known to make up stories.” And then there’s Whitney Seals, who supposedly romanced Casey. Says Jamie Lynn, “What happened was that one of those girls did it, and in this small town when one of them does it, they’re all like, ‘Good idea.’ They all jumped on the bandwagon.” The tall tales have taken their toll on the young parents. “It hurt me to hear those things,” reveals Jamie Lynn to OK!. “Because my family has to read it. It’s not fair to them.” Another factor making things worse is that the Aldridge family has been thrust unwillingly into the spotlight. “Casey’s family is not used to this,” the former Zoey 101 star explains. “They might assume it’s true. My family knows it’s not. It was definitely harder for Casey’s family to deal with it, but you just explain that it is part of this business.” The new mom says that her family has stood beside her through the entire ordeal. “They know if I were in a relationship like that, I wouldn’t put up with it,” she tells OK!. “My family supports me, and they support Casey also. They read those stories and take them with a grain of salt.”

Casey-Lynn is referring to THIS report from In Touch Weekly that published an interview with Kelli Dawson, who claims she had an intimate relationship with Casey Aldridge. Why the couple waited this long to refute Dawson‘s claims, I’m sure I have no idea but at least they’ve spoken up at last. Well, I guess now that Jamie Lynn and Casey have finally denounced the rumors of infidelity, we can put that issue to rest …

… and move on to a new Casey-Lynn rumor to take its place. The National Enquirer is reporting that Jamie Lynn is pregs with her second child — say it ain’t so!

Whoops – she did it again! Teen Prego Queen Jamie Lynn Spears has another bun in the oven, The NATIONAL ENQUIRER is reporting exclusively – and her pals are begging her to abort. In a blockbuster world exclusive, The ENQUIRER has learned that the 17-year-old Zoey 101 starlet is now expecting for the second time – a mere three months after giving birth on June 19 to baby Maddie Briann. Jamie’s desperate to keep the shock­ing news secret and some people close to her are urging Jamie Lynn to consider ending the pregnancy, sources say. “Jamie Lynn is about eight weeks pregnant, and she and her mom Lynne are hysterical,” revealed a close source. “Neither of them knows what to do, but for now they’re trying to keep the news from getting out.” Too late. The unplanned pregnancy came as a shock to Jamie Lynn, who’d been breast-feeding her infant daughter Maddie Briann, insiders say. “Jamie Lynn believed she couldn’t get pregnant while she was breast-feeding,” said the close source. “She’d expected to have her period by early September.” A home pregnancy test came back positive and Jamie Lynn cried her eyes out, said the source. Her mother Lynne was livid when she found out, divulged an insider. Meanwhile, insiders say that those close to Jamie Lynn are urging her to abort! “They’ve reminded Jamie Lynn how much trouble she had adjusting to motherhood with Maddie, and pointed out that having a second baby now would only be a recipe for disaster,” said the close source.

Now, I must confess that The National Enquirer isn’t always the bastion of verity that they wish they were but they do get these stories right sometimes (just ask Sen. John Edwards). TMZ is sourcing an “unimpeachable source” that claims this pregnancy report is categorically untrue:

Three-month-old Maddie Briann Aldridge is gonna have to wait to have a lil’ baby brother or sister, because Jamie Lynn Spears is not pregnant, y’all! While several reports are claiming Jamie Lynn is preggers again, an unimpeachable source tells TMZ Britney’s baby sis does not have another bun in the oven.

To be honest, I would not be surprised if JL did get pregs again … if not now, sometime in the future. After all, neither she nor Casey has really proven to be the sharpest tools in the shed. I really do think that Casey-Lynn needn’t spawn any further but … I guess time will tell if either of them learn safe sex practices.
