Joseph Gilgun Has Joined The Cast Of The UK TV Series ‘Misfits’

Last month we learned the surprising and upsetting news that actor Robert Sheehan will NOT return for the third season of the brilliant UK series Misfits. Today we not only learn who will replace Sheehan on the show but we also get our first look at the new castmember on the set with his new Misfits compatriots. Joseph Gilgun has been hired to replace Sheehan on the Misfits … he will play a character named Rudy. Robert Sheehan Is Leaving The UK Series ‘Misfits’

Very sad news for fans of the UK series Misfits … lead actor Robert Sheehan has left the show! According to a new report out this weekend, Sheehan — who plays the BRILLIANT character Nathan — will NOT return for season 3 of the series. Altho no information has been given as to why he is leaving the show, it is being reported that his character will be replaced by a new character altogether. Read on for the sad deets.

David and I enjoyed another quiet night at home last night, only venturing out for a couple of hours to grab some food together. Things have been relatively quiet around the ol’ homestead and, in all honestly, that’s just fine by me. There is something to be said about kicking back and just chillin’ out for a few days. I’ve been able to build up my meager vinyl collection (newly rejuvenated by my Xmas gift this year) and I spent some of my evening getting reacquainted with some of my fave records of all time.

Shane West showed up at Nylon magazine’s TV Issue release party at the Roosevelt Hotel here in Hollywood, CA last night rockin’ a new ‘do that made it look like he was auditioning to join a certain goth/punk/metal band known as Misfits:

The Misfits (not to be confused for THESE Misfits) are known for, among other things, their trademark exaggerated mohawk hair-do … a look that Shane West looks to be a fan of. The fact that the young Mr. West was also rockin’ some deep black bags under his eyes really made the whole look come together, I think. Do we like?
