Congratulations are in order for the newly married Orlando Bloom and Miranda Kerr … because the sneaky couple went and got themselves married this week! As you may recall, the couple (who have been dating since 2007) announced to the world that they got themselves engaged to be wed last month … and then, all of the sudden, news broke late yesterday that the couple went and got married in a secret ceremony. Sneaky Sneaky. But, it’s a done deal, they got hitched, y’all:

That was fast. Only a month after their engagement was confirmed, Orlando Bloom and Miranda Kerr have married. The model, 27, and the British actor, 33, are now on their honeymoon, Kerr says in a statement that also explains the cancelation of her appearance at the Australian department store David Jones. “David Jones very graciously released me during this period so we could celebrate an intimate ceremony and honeymoon together,” Kerr’s statement says. “I’m very much a part of the David Jones Family and I am very committed to my role. I am enormously grateful to David Jones to have been given this time to enjoy such a special moment in my life.”

I mean, yes this is a big surprise but on the the other hand, not really. You may recall that we saw photos of Miranda checking out church locations for the possible wedding just days after news of the couple’s engagement was announced in late June. I could tell then that they were chomping at the bit to get the deal done. To be honest, I’m not entirely sure where the couple said their I Dos (none of the reports out today seem sure) but I suppose it really doesn’t matter. All that matters is that Orlando and Miranda are blissfully happy as husband and wife. Lets send them our warmest congratulations and all of our love on their happy nuptials! Congrats!!

So it is no wonder Miranda Kerr was determined to show off her diamond sparkler as she visited churches in Los Angeles with her mother ahead of her wedding to Orlando Bloom. The 27-year-old lingerie model continuously flashed her new accessory as she arrived at a church with mother Therese and dog Frankie. Wearing a colourful maxi dress under a denim jacket, Miranda made sure she inspected all angles of the place of worship – prompting rumours it could be where she and Orlando choose to wed. The couple are both practising Buddhists, but may be planning to wed in a church service for their parents. Bloom was brought up as Church of England, but turned to Buddhism in his Twenties, while Kerr started practising the religion when she turned 20. She told Rolling Stone magazine last year that Buddhism has brought them closer together: ‘We share the same outlook. It brings us closer and closer together.’ The pair, who quietly started dating in 2007, confirmed their engagement earlier this month.

Rockin’ the ring, scopin’ out churches … it looks like Miranda and Orlando are really ready to tie the knot. I wouldn’t be surprised if they said their I Dos by year’s end. Ugh … they’re just so perfect for one another, couldn’t you just puke on your shoes?

The couple, who have been dating for almost three years, have dodged multiple engagement rumors throughout their relationship. In November 2008, the model, 27, and British actor, 33, shot down a report in the Australian media that they were getting married. Six months later, the two kept fans guessing when Kerr was spotted with a sparkler on her left ring finger, though reps at the time had no comment. When the two recently spent Thanksgiving together in Morocco, Bloom told reporters he and Kerr were “just enjoying our time together now” when asked if they were getting married anytime soon. “He’s a sweetheart and that’s all I’m gonna say,” Kerr, who has talked about settling down and starting a family in the future, told PEOPLE in February 2008. “My ideal situation would be to live on a farm in a solar-powered house with a hammock and a vegetable patch,” she told Page Six Magazine in 2008. “When this is all over, that’s where I’ll be. I’ve always wanted kids, so someday, eventually, yes, it will happen.”

OMG … just what the world needs … a pair of ridiculously good-looking people gettin’ together and making MORE ridiculously good-lookin’ people. I’m not sure who is the more lucky one … they are both scoring BIG TIME in this deal. Call me crazy, but I’m thinkin’ part of the reason that Orlando finally popped the question is because he just can’t get enough of Miranda’s adorable pet pooch. Gah! The weathermen may be forecasting snow and ice, but when you’re a celebrity the sun is always shining. Orlando Bloom, 32, left behind the cold in his native Canterbury to soak up the sun on the Caribbean island of St Bart’s yesterday, with model girlfriend Miranda Kerr, 26. The pair relaxed on a sandy white beach before taking to the waves onboard a luxury yacht, owned by Hollywood studio boss Harvey Weinstein … They were joined by London actor Jason Statham, 37, who like Orlando is now based in Hollywood, and his girlfriend Alex Zosman, 25 as they strolled along the sand … The actors appeared to be keen to impress their girlfriends, with Jason flexing his muscles before diving off the yacht into the ocean.

HMMMM … Jason Statham may have been trying to impress his ladyfriend but it’s pretty obvs that Orlando was paying sole attention to the dog rather than to Ms. Kerr. Isn’t it funny how pets seem to mirror their owners in both stature and cuteness level? If Orlando Bloom were a dog, he’d most deff be the kind of Yorkie Terrier that he is so enamored with in these photos. Adorable, right?

Heidi Klum, who just gave birth to her 4th child last month, strutted her stuff along with a gaggle of beautiful Victoria’s Secret models (called Angels) on the runway at The Armory in NYC, NY last night for a taping of the annual Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show TV Spectacular. Here are a few pics from the runway last night:

Heidi Klum and her post-baby body led the parade at the annual Victoria’s Secret fashion show, which returned to New York with some fresh faces after four years on the road. The lingerie retailer inducted five more women into its “Angel” ranks — a designation reserved for top models — in front of a packed house Thursday night at the Lexington Avenue Armory. They are Emanuela de Paula, Chanel Iman, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Lindsay Ellingson and Candice Swanepoel. But Klum, who gave birth to a daughter five weeks ago, was the audience favorite in her purple corset covered with a half gown with poufs of tulle. She emerged from the huge, castlelike set to applause. Musical guest The Black Eyed Peas — especially Fergie, its only female member, who wore a black, jeweled bodysuit — was another crowd-pleaser. She came out later in a green corset gown. Of course, fashion really is secondary here. Victoria’s Secret always puts on an elaborate production (this time with a choir, acrobatic dancers and a giant polka-dot dog balloon) and fuels hype about its models. An online model search started earlier this month and is now down to two contestants, one of whom will be chosen by the public to appear in the televised version of the fashion show that CBS will air Dec. 1. “I could watch this online, but it’s a fun scene,” said Russell Simmons from his front row seat. “This show is always fun and a great production.” “It’s always a spectacular,” agreed costume designer Patricia Field. “Victoria’s Secret does that extra thing I like.” Klum, who normally wears the most elaborate outfits, only appeared once so it was former Sports Illustrated Swimsuit cover girl Marissa Miller who had the honor of wearing a $3 million, diamond-encrusted bra. Splashy jewels, it seemed, were one of the themes of the show with many models dripping in diamonds, crystals and other bling — while others wore faux fur stoles over their bras and panties. Thigh-high boots were the other must-have accessory. Outfits fell into one of four themes: Star Trooper with breast plates and body armor; Pink Planet, which had a hippie vibe; the ethereal Enchanted Forest; and Romantic Journey that featured a lot of lace. Compared to previous years, the overall collection didn’t seem as skimpy, although Miranda Kerr wore an itsy-bitsy black thong get-up that might have to be edited out of the TV show.

Altho these VS fashion shows aren’t really my thing, I can’t believe how much I enjoy watching them year after year … I think it’s all the fun colors and feathers. And, to be honest, even I can appreciate how insanely hawt all of the VS Angels are … this is really a very fun show. I’m so glad that Heidi was up to walking the runway this year, especially after giving birth just about a month ago. The woman looked fantastic, as always. I can’t wait to see this show when it airs on CBS next month.
