Miley Cyrus, who joins and quits Twitter almost daily, is back on Twitter and is back to sharing personal photos of herself with her legion of followers. Back in February we saw the first glimpse of a new tattoo she got done on the side of her ribcage and then about a week later, we got a closer look at her tattoo … which turned out to be a dream catcher. Today we get to check out a new photo shared by Miley on her official Twitter profile where she is showing off her pigtails hair’do and, accidentally on purpose, her tattoo … which you can see below.

Yesterday we saw a few photos of Miley Cyrus going off on a paparazzi photographer that she believes pushed her mother Leticia Tish Cyrus and today we see more photos of Miley going apeshizz on another photographer for, apparently, no reason at all. We also get to see video of the first Miley attack that clearly shows, IMHO, that the photog in question accidentally bumped Tish. Now that Miley‘s going off on a different pap altogether, could it be that the young starlet is starting to unravel?

Miley Cyrus, who just did a fantastic job hosting Saturday Night Live in NYC, NY last weekend, had to get all in a paparazzo’s face in LA this week when the guy (accidentally? on purposely?) pushed Miley‘s mom Leticia Tish Cyrus. Clearly, Miley was NOT in the mood to condone any physical contact that any photographer might have with her mother and she decided to let the guy know that she was pissed!

Back in February we learned that Miley Cyrus would be hosting an episode of Saturday Night Live and last night was her big night! To be honest, I was only marginally interested in seeing Miley on SNL because I was hoping she would appear in the SNL skit The Miley Cyrus Show (which, she did — but as Justin Bieber) but I wasn’t really all that looking forward to her hosting the whole show. But, having watched the ep in full, I have to say … well done, Miley! Not only was she a pretty good host but the skits that the SNL writers came up with were actually semi-funny. Read on to see all of Miley‘s SNL promo photos and some clips of her, IMHO, best skits of the night.

On Tuesday we learned from Billy Ray Cyrus, in a new interview with GQ Magazine, that he blames the Disney show Hannah Montana for “destroying” his family and today we are learning that his daughter Miley Cyrus is none too pleased with her daddy’s comments. In his interview, Billy Ray lamented that he no longer has any control of his daughter’s wild ways and he places the blame squarely on the show that made her a star. Apparently, Miley has expressed to the people around her that she is PISSED at Billy Ray for making such comments about her publicly and has even reportedly likened her father to Michael Lohan. Ouch!

Head’s up, Miley Cyrus fans … your girl has been tapped to host the March 5 episode of Saturday Night Live! As those of you who have been watching SNL for the past few months know, they have a pretty popular skit where SNL player Vanessa Bayer portrays Miley for a fictional Miley Cyrus Show … does this mean that Miley Cyrus may actually appear in the SNL skit that so expertly mocks her?

Last week Miley Cyrus gave us a peek at the newest tattoo she’s had inked on her ribcage when she wore a peek-a-boo side-slit shirt here in SoCal. Today we get a closer look at Miley‘s new ink in new photos of Miley wearing that same side-slit shirt … it’s clear she wants to show off her new tattoo. The photos that we saw last week weren’t very clear but today we learn, unmistakenly, that Miley‘s new tat is of a very large Native American dream catcher.

Miley Cyrus is featured on the cover and in the pages of the new issue of Marie Claire magazine and while her fairly stunning photospread is likely to get most of the attention, I am more interested in the interview portion of her appearance. Miley‘s interview with Marie Claire is her first since she got busted smoking a bong full of salvia last year. She does talk a bit about the incident and, surprisingly, she sounds genuinely apologetic.

The subject of “The Bong Incident” (which, in case you have been living under a rock, involved a two-and-a-half-minute video of Cyrus smoking a bong filled with salvia, an herb sold legally in many health-food stores, posted on TMZ in December) has come up, and after she says all the things you expect her to say (“I’m not perfect … I made a mistake … I’m disappointed in myself for disappointing my fans …”), I cannot help but set my journalist hat aside for a minute and say, “But do you really think it was a mistake? Obviously college kids your age all over America are smoking bongs with a lot more than salvia in them.” She looks at me with her big blue baby-doll eyes. “But they’re not Miley Cyrus,” she says. “They’re not role models. So for me it was a bad decision, because of my fans and because of what I stand for.”

Kids make mistakes … kids do dumb things … Hell, adults do, too. Yes she got busted but at least she apologized and owned up to her actions (unlike some other celebs who always feel victimized and refuse to ever take responsibility). I’m not a Miley fan but I can respect her for this. Now, for those photos … she may have caused quite a stir when she brazenly showed off her bare back in Vanity Fair magazine a couple of years ago but it looks like she’s no longer afraid to show some back skin. She looks lovely in these photos, don’t you think?

Miley Cyrus, who continues to show that she Can’t Be Tamed, inadvertently (on purpose?) showed off her newest tattoo. Previously, Miss Miley got herself inked 4 times before (a heart and a small cross on her fingers, the word ‘love” on her ear and the phrase “just breathe” on her rib cage) … for her 5th tattoo, she got some artwork tattooed on the right side of her ribcage.
