Back in February, Mike The Situation Sorrentino broke the news that he would be posing in a new photospread with supermodel Bar Refaeli for Interview magazine. Today we learn that the shoot was shot by Terry Richardson and also features fellow Jersey Shore castmates Paul Pauly D Delvecchio, Vinny Guadagnino and Ronnie Ortiz-Magro … behold:

Once upon a time, we learned what happened when seven strangers came to live together in a house, stopped being polite, and started getting real. After 23 iterations of that concept, we learned that we were bored, and an ever-savvy MTV flipped the concept, assembling a group of strangers to live together in a house and act like cartoon characters. As Jersey Shore’s first season debuted, eight sensory assaults masquerading as people—tanned, unquiet, self-proclaimed “guidos” and “guidettes,” some of them not actually Italian-American—assembled in a summer rental to live, laugh, love, malaprop, hump in hot tubs, get arrested, and wander around drunkenly, eating ham. The ratings were meager at first, but the show took off when Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi, the show’s heroine, was punched in the nose by a high school teacher after a dispute involving a stolen drink. (This basically tells you everything you need to know about the show’s moral universe.) As Snooki was walloped in the face, so was America, and the whole country became Jersey Shore’s battered paramours—uncomfortable but unable to tear ourselves away … The second season begins shooting this month, and barring any cases of hair-gel toxicosis, it will air on MTV this summer. In the meantime, the four dudes of the show—Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino, Ronnie Ortiz-Magro, Vinny Guadagnino, and “Pauly D” Delvecchio—talked to Interview about their hopes, dreams, and penis piercings.

You gotta hand it to Richardson, this shoot is kinda fun … in a d-bag sort of way. Interview took the time to talk with each of these guidos but it’s really the photos that are most interesting (cuz these guys are not). Earlier this week we saw photos of the original cast of Jersey Shore making their grand arrival as a unit in Miami Beach, FL where they will be filming the second season of their show for the next few months. Last week we learned that MTV cameras invaded Miami Beach, FL as they set up for the arrival of the original cast of Jersey Shore, who will be filming season 2 of their reality TV show there for the next few months. Yesterday, the cast made their official arrival in Miami to begin filming new eps of their show … and they were met by a throng of eager Miami fans:

On Wednesday we got to see a portrait of Paul Pauly D Delvecchio as photographed by Terry Richardson and on Thursday we saw a portrait of Mike The Situation Sorrentino as photographed by Terry Richardson. Today we get to see photos of Richardson with the other two guys on MTV’s Jersey Shore who have no nicknames and, therefore, are not worthy of their own solo portraits … apparently. Personally, I would’ve focused on Vinny’s infamous eyebrows (which look like they were drawn on his face with a Sharpie marker) rather than his shaved armpit and Ronnie’s thick neck (or mebbe a close-up of the bottom of Sammi Sweetheart Giancola‘s shoe?) … I mean, what else are these two jokers known for? Yesterday we saw a HILARIOUS portrait of Jersey Shore star Paul Pauly D Delvecchio shot by famed photographer Terry Richardson and today we get to see a portrait of Pauly D‘s Jersey Shore castmate Mike The Situation Sorrentino also photographed by Richardson. Much like Pauly D‘s photo captured his true essence (which looks a lot like he stole said essence from Lisa Simpson), this portrait of The Situation seems to capture his true essence as well:

I can’t believe I’m actually saying this but … The Situation got to pose in this new photoshoot for Interview with supermodel Bar Rafaeli — yeah, Leonardo DiCaprio‘s lady. Great news, Jersey Shore fans!! Have you ever wished that you should smell like the desperation of hitting on every single girl in sight, hoping that one of them will lower herself to not only be seen in your presence but will actually succumb to having sex with you on a seemingly daily basis? Well … have I got the product for you. Mike The Situation Sorrentino, one of the stars of MTV‘s break-out hit show Jersey Shore, has just inked a deal to release his own “celebrity frangrance” which will be called Sitch and will, most likely, be sold in the finest gas stations and truck stops in the country:

Mike Sorrentino has a sweet smelling new “Situation.” The “Jersey Shore” star will be launching his own fragrance, he confirmed to Access Hollywood on the Grammy Awards red carpet, where he’s serving as Access’ guest correspondent. The cologne will be called “Sitch.” “The name is just, it’s pretty cool. Who wouldn’t buy a cologne called Sitch by Situation?” The Situation told Access. “It’s in the beginnings right now, but it should be coming out hopefully in the next couple months.” The Situation added that he’d be checking out scents in the coming days. “[I'm] a pretty spontaneous person,” he said. “I don’t even know, as soon as I find something that I like, I’ll say, ‘That’s it! That is The Situation, and we’ll grab it.’” As previously reported on AccessHollywood.com, the star told Access on Saturday he would be rejoining his “Jersey Shore” cast mates for a second season of the MTV hit in a new location next summer. And on Sunday, he hinted that a new housemate could be joining the returning stars. “You know, I wouldn’t mind a new roommate to maybe stir things up,” he said. “And we’ll see, because I’m pretty excited. It’s definitely going to be pretty crazy because the first season was pretty crazy from start to finish.”

You know, I’m willing to bet that Sitch will smell like suntan lotion and pit sweat (you know, from all those hours spent in the gym). I cannot FOR THE LIFE OF ME imagine that any dude would want to actually say he smells like Sitch but I’m thinking that if such a person does exist, he’ll be all decked out in Ed Hardy and desperation. As for Mr. Sorrentino, I can’t hate on him for taking this opportunity and running with it … make that money, yo. The fame will not last for long so he’s gotta grab that dough while he still can. On Friday we learned what kind of goodies attendees of the Golden Globes will be walking home with inside their Golden Globes Gift Bags but today we learn that even non-Golden Globes attendees are gettin’ in on the freebie action. Golden Globes gifting suites are legendary for hooking up celebs of varying stature with all sorts of free stuff, even if they don’t have a rat’s ass’s chance in Hell of ever scoring an actual invite to the Golden Globe Awards themselves. Like, say, for example the cast of MTV‘s hit show Jersey Shore. These self-proclaimed guidos and guidettes flew out West this week for the sole purpose of loading up on free shizz at various Golden Globes gifting suites like the GBK Golden Globe Gifting Suite at the Mondrian Hotel in West Hollywood, CA Friday afternoon:

In addition to the GBK gifting suite, the Jersey Shore cast showed up at THE Hospitality gifting suite that was held at Pascal Mouawad‘s estate where I understand that Jenni Jwoww Farley got her hair did by Suburbia Salon (Lord knows she needed a hair job), Nicole Snooki Polizzi loaded up on gear from Wet Cement, Paul Pauly D Delvecchio scored some hair gel from Unite and Mike The Situation Sorrentino picked up a few t-shirts from Wet Cement so that he could lift them up all night long to show off his abs. See people, you don’t need to be a Golden Globes nominee to get in on all the free swag. I’d bet a bit of money that these folks will not be invited to any gifting suites next year so I hope they load up on as much stuff as possible while they still can.

The real Golden Globe winners will pick up the only prizes that matter tonight during the 67th Annual Golden Globe Awards, which airs LIVE on NBC tonight at 8PM ET, 5PM PT.

The cast of MTV‘s hit reality TV series Jersey Shore (minus Angelina Jolie Pivarnick who was booted off the show by the 4th ep of the series) are featured in the new issue of Life & Style magazine … and holy moly, they did they get make-overs! For the most part, everyone looks pretty fantastic … save for Paul Pauly D Delvecchio (whose horrible hair cannot be made-over to look good at all). Here the photo and some deets about their transformations:

I mean … wow. Jenni Jwoww Farley looks the best, by far. I gotta give it up to Mike The Situation Sorrentino cuz he cleaned up pretty nicely as well. This goes to show that clothes really can make the man or woman and lotta money goes a long way. I gotta say, I’m impressed. Which one of these kids do YOU think looks the best?

Mike The Situation Sorrentino, one of the break-out stars of MTV‘s new reality TV series Jersey Shore, is enjoying a taste of fame these days in the wake of his TV show’s growing popularity. Just this week alone, Mike and a few of his Jersey Shore cohorts made their way to LA to attend award shows, be featured on talk shows and parties have been thrown in their honor … but with new fame comes the much scrutiny. An industrious person over at ONTD! happened upon Sorrentino‘s yearbook (Class of ’99, I believe) and shares with us homie’s senior photo:

I understand that Mike “pre-Situation” attended classes at Manalapan High School, whose school motto is “Today’s Students – Tomorrow’s Leaders”. LOL. It’s funny to see him so … un-tanned, no? Any fans of The Situation out there? What do y’all think of his senior pic?
