Michael Lohan Releases Recorded Phone Calls With Dina Lohan

Yesterday we learned that Michael Lohan, exploitative father of Lindsay Lohan and ex-husband of Dina Lohan, released an audio recording of a secretly taped phone conversation that he had with his daughter in order to expose her distraught depression, he says, for her own good. Today, Daddy Lohan releases another audio recording but this time of a conversation with his ex-wife Dina:

In an explosive recorded audio conversation obtained exclusively by RadarOnline.com, Dina Lohan reveals her anguish over a failed attempt to get her daughter Lindsay Lohan into rehab and what she calls the “mess” that resulted from trying to give her an intervention. The taped phone call, made in September of 2008, is between Dina and Lindsay’s dad, Michael Lohan. “You don’t even know what I’d go through trying to get her into, like, rehab and stuff,” Dina is heard telling Michael. “She’d like, punch me in the face, kick me out of the car…like you don’t know the (expletive) I went through trying to get her an intervention by myself. It was very difficult.” Dina continues, “She’s really sad and really hurt and really…despondent. I told her not to go to L.A. at 18…she did. I couldn’t leave these other three (Dina’s three other kids with Michael) to go get her and it was, like, a mess.” Michael Lohan has publically claimed his concern for Lindsay’s life and that she has an addiction to prescription pills and that ex-wife Dina is lying about his intentions to the press. On Wednesday, RadarOnline.com released a heart wrenching audio tape of a distraught and hysterical Lindsay, sobbing to her father about her life. The recording sparked immediate controversy about why Lohan would publically disclose something so private about his daughter. In an exclusive interview with RadarOnline.com, Lohan says he only released the personal audio tapes because he’s afraid for his daughter’s life, and he’s tired of being targeted as the bad guy. “I admit, I’m being a bit selfish in releasing the tapes,” he told us. “But I’m tired of being lied about. I’m tired of Dina and others making me out to be someone I’m not, so now I’m going to prove to the world who the real liars are.”

I understand Michael Lohan plans to release more recorded phone conversations out of “concern” for his daughter … I guess he feels that by hurting and publicly embarrassing Lindsay as much as he can, she will run to his waiting arms so that he can have access and mebbe control of her person (and finances?). In my opinion, his decision to publicly release these recordings only goes further in exposing him for the kind of person that he truly is. Lindsay herself posted a series of messages on her official Twitter profile to give her opinion on her father’s actions. If this attempt to care for this daughter can teach us anything, it is that Michael Lohan truly is a toxic parrot … just like NeNe Leakes says he is.

Lindsay Lohan Calls Her Father A ‘Lunatic’

Lindsay Lohan posted a series of tweets on her official Twitter profile over the weekend to publicly declare that her father, Michael Lohan, is a “lunatic”. In recent weeks, Papa Lohan has been very publicly trying to reach out to his daughter in an attempt, he says, to help her … very clearly, Lindsay wants no help from him at all. Here’s a run down of what went down in the Twitterverse over the weekend:

Lindsay Lohan has taken to Twitter to slam her dad Michael, following reports that he is seeking conservatorship over her, and that he’s offered an entertainment TV show tape-recorded conversations between himself and his ex-wife, Dina, in which they discuss their daughter’s well-being. “My father is a lunatic & doesn’t even deserve such a title since he’s never been around in my life other than when he’d threaten me & my family,” Tweeted Lindsay, who just finished shooting the thriller Machete opposite Robert DeNiro. “He should be where he has always put himself after verbally abusing and physically abusing people all my life-behind bars.” Lindsay, 23, also wrote that her sister Ali, 15, is also concerned about their father’s behavior. “It’s so sad to get a phone call from my baby sister just now asking, ‘why is daddy doing this?’ Through tears. He’s crossed the lines & hurt me & my family 4 the last time.” Last week, Michael Lohan claimed to New York’s Daily News that Entertainment Tonight this week would air taped phone conversations between himself and Dina, in which they discuss Lindsay’s well-being. As yet, nothing on this has been confirmed by the TV show. Still, Dina Lohan tells PEOPLE that she and Lindsay plan to prevent the tapes from coming within public earshot: “We’re going to stop it from airing. He is in violation of my order of protection. My attorney sent a cease-and-desist letter, and a copy of my order of protection I have against him. He is now in violation of my criminal order of protection. He harasses me, and calls my cell phone, which he is not allowed to call.” In response to Dina’s disdain for Michael’s very pubic dialogue about Lindsay, Michael told PEOPLE last week, “Look, I know that sometimes in the past I’ve said things I shouldn’t have. [But right now] I have to help my child.” Be that as it may, Dina says Lindsay is planning to obtain a restraining order against her father – an effort that intensified after Michael told X17 this month he was seeking conservatorship in order to get Lindsay into rehab for prescription drug abuse, and that he is behind on child support payments. Says Dina: “He is desperate and spiraling out of control.”

If one really wants to know why Lindsay Lohan’s life is such a mess, one need look no further than at the parents who raised her. I cannot think of a worse situation than one where Michael Lohan would be in a conservator position over his wealthy daughter. It is so sad to see this series of dramatic events play out in the public eye. Lindsay may be a mess sometimes but it’s clear, at least to me, that her father is even more of a mess … and a very toxic parrot. IMHO, the man is dangerous … he even threatened to kidnap Lindsay in order to save her. INSANE!! I hope Lindsay is able to steer clear of her father’s machinations … for her own sake.

In what can only be referred to as a douchebag summit to end all douchebag summits from here until infinity, it turns out that the very unsavory Jon Gosselin has hooked up with the completely revolting Michael Lohan to strike up a new bromance. Apparently, the men feel that teaming up to join douchey forces is the best way to turn their pitiful individual “fame” into something more substantial … and wholly sickening. Not only is Jon Gosselin cavorting with a coeterie of different women since separating from his reality TV partner in crime, Kate Gosselin — he’s also courting new guy friends, namely, Michael Lohan. Lohan, the father of tabloid queen Lindsay Lohan, told ABCNews.com today that he has opened up his Hamptons home to Jon Gosselin and Kate Major, the Star magazine reporter with whom Gosselin dined in New York City last weekend. While Gosselin and Major claimed to be just friends earlier this week, Major told Star Wednesday that she “went to do a story on Jon and ended up falling for him,” and subsequently resigned from her post at the magazine citing a conflict of interest. “Kate Major is best friends with my fiancee Erin [Muller], and Kate is like family to me,” Lohan said. “Since there’s so much media bothering them in New York City and Pennsylvania, they needed a place to get away, and I offered them my house.” “He’s a really nice guy,” Lohan said of Gosselin, adding that the two men went clothes shopping together and ate lunch at the Driver’s Seat restaurant in Southampton. Though they’ve only known each other for days, their shared experience with high-profile divorce has turned these guys into fast friends. “We compare notes on what we’ve gone through and what it’s like when the media gets involved,” Lohan said.

LMAO … so the new BFFs went clothes shopping together? I would bet MILLIONS that the douchebros went shopping for Ed Hardy gear! I can’t think of a more gross union than that of Michael Lohan and Jon Gosselin. If ever two men were made for each other, it’s these two. The only problem in their plan to join forces in order to attain more fame is that the numbers don’t really add up. Zero plus zero still equals zero. Blech!!

Michael Lohan Denies Threatening To Kill His Fiancée

Yesterday we learned that Michael Lohan was arrested in early April after he allegedly threatened to kill his fiancée Erin Muller. The story of his “quiet” arrest got out when he showed up for a court date this week and he was spotted by The New York Post. Since his arrest, Lohan has reconciled with Muller and she no longer contends that Lohan threatened to kill her … which doesn’t necessarily mean that it is true that he did not. Even still, Michael Lohan gave a brief interview to E! News refuting the charges against him. Here is Michael Lohan’s newest mugshot (which was just made available late yesterday) and his comments to E! News:

Michael Lohan has pleaded not guilty in a Long Island court to threatening to kill fiancée Erin Muller. Lohan, 49, is facing a misdemeanor charge of aggravated harassment for a March 18 altercation. “He allegedly called Erin Muller on the telephone and stated in sum and substance that he would kill her and himself if Erin Muller left him,” says a spokesman for the Suffolk County D.A. But Lohan exclusively tells E! News that “by no means did I threaten to cause harm to Erin or myself…As a matter of fact, Erin even told the court that she didn’t want to pursue anything. It’s all going to be dropped.” As for that telephone call… “A person she thought was her friend violated her in a way that I don’t want to describe,” he says, explaining that a distressed Mueller phoned him from Long Island while he was in Las Vegas. “When I found out the truth it didn’t sit well with me.” He claims the New York Post, which first reported the charges, blew the whole thing out of proportion. “It’s all going to be dropped. It’s an example of how people twist things,” says Lohan, who has become a religious counselor (and charity boxer) since serving a two-year prison sentence for assault, cocaine and DUI charges. Lohan surrendered for arrest on April 6 and was arraigned in district court. He remains free on his own recognizance pending a June 10 court date.

Uh huh. I honestly have the hardest time believing a word that comes out of this man’s mouth. I can totally see how he prolly flew off the handle, leveled his threats and then went begging back to Muller to forgive him after he got arrested. She prolly took him back and forgave him and is now willing to drop all charges against him. I cannot, for the life of me, imagine the appeal of dating a man like Michael Lohan (I mean, really, what does he have to offer anyone?) but if Erin Muller is willing to put up with his bullshizz then I guess that’s exactly what she’s going to have to do. I’m kinda bummed that Lohan won’t be held accountable if these charges are dropped … as I said yesterday, another stretch in the big house would prolly do his disposition wonders. I know the public at large would benefit greatly by his incarceration. Ah well.

Michael Lohan Busted . . . Again!

It turns out that trouble has found Lindsay Lohan’s father, Michael, again. The New York Post is reporting that Daddy Lohan was “quietly” arrested in early April after police determined that he allegedly threatened to kill his fiancée Erin Mueller (the couple have since reconciled). For obvs reasons, Lohan was hoping that no one would find out about this latest arrest … but, unfortch for him, the cat is out of the bag. Michael Lohan got his ass busted … again:

LINDSAY Lohan’s sleazebag dad, Michael Lohan, is in trouble again — this time for allegedly threatening to kill his fiancée and himself when she tried to dump him. Michael was quietly arrested on April 6 for a phone threat cops said he placed to off-again, on-again gal pal Erin Muller, 34, on March 18. Lohan, 48, flipped out yesterday when he walked into Central Islip court and spotted Post reporter Kieran Crowley and photographer Dennis Clark. “Michael! Plan two!” shouted Lohan’s lawyer, Anthony Grandinette, as his client fled. “Plan two” consisted of Lohan and Muller hiding in her car while Grandinette appeared on his behalf. Lohan faces up to a year behind bars. He couldn’t have picked a better time for the alleged threat, because terms of his parole ended on Feb. 7. He’s due in family court in Westbury today, when he’ll have to explain why he’s behind in child support — by $12,000, sources told The Post.

Ugh … with parents like these, it’s no wonder that poor Lindsay Lohan has endured the troubles in her life that have plagued her for so long. Considering that Michael Lohan is an ex-con who has already served time in prison, you’d think he’d be more willing to live a life on the straight and narrow to avoid getting thrown back into the slammer. It would seem that he has yet to learn his lesson. Perhaps another stint in the Big House would do much to teach him the err of his ways.

Michael Lohan’s Blog Is Dunzo!

After a little over a month in existence, Michael Lohan’s official blog The Real Story with Michael Lohan is dunzo! In a post, titled My Final Blog, Daddy Lohan explains that he has decided to stop blogging “out of respect” for his daughter Ali Lohan. What seems curious to me is that Daddy Lohan didn’t have the same respect for his eldest daughter Lindsay Lohan all along … but that’s beside the point, I suppose. Here is the full text of Michael Lohan’s last post. As always, all spelling and grammatical errors are his own:

Out of respect for my daughter Ali, and her request, this will be my last last blog.

And although I have full confidence in Jonathan Jaxson (Who is the mastermind behind some of the best stories/blogs out there.), I have to say that when it comes to my innocent children, who are at risk and have nothing to do with the situation at hand, I have to respect their request.

Before I go, however, I must say that I received a text message from a very close and dear friend of Lindsay’s who I trust and admire. The text said, “between you and me you are doing the right thing. From what I hear, from Lindsay’s nearest and dearest friends, Lindsay is worse off than ever since she she has been with Sam. I told Dina that Lindsay needs you back in her life, and I think you know that I was the one who really helped Linds get into rehab.”

Without divulging this person’s identity, let me say that I know this person and I trust him/her very much. As a matter of fact, I spent time with him/her and wish that he/she was still part of Lindsay’s life.

Regardless of sexual preference, it is the substance of an individual that matters the most. Something I can not give much credence to when it comes to SaMANtha.

As I said, this is my final blog and I hope what I have said and expressed to you and Lindsay, have a positive effect on your lives.

Thank Baby Jebus, Daddy Lohan’s foolishness is finally over. To be honest, I’m not sure why his blog lasted as long as a month. He sure tried to whip up as much attention as he could in this latest effort to mooch off his famous children and, yet, no one really cared. Honestly, I don’t recall reading about anyone else on the Internets talking about Daddy Lohan’s blog. The only way I even knew he A.) started a blog and B.) was updating his blog was via emails sent to me by Michael Lohan’s publicist. I chose to highlight certain blogposts merely out of their ridiculousness. Truth be told, reading this estranged father’s sad attempts to still exploit his children was getting old and very sad. I’m glad he decided to pull the plug … now if only we could be sure he was going away for good, never to be heard from again.

Last month, Michael Lohan — estranged father of daughter Lindsay Lohan — launched his official blog ~~to much fanfare~~ and began publishing blogposts about things as varied as his daughter Lindsay Lohan to, well, his daughter Lindsay Lohan. The last blogpost that piqued my interest was a quick message about how he and his daughter Lindsay Lohan have called a truce … and then I kinda forgot that he existed. But today, Michael Lohan has posted a new blogpost asking for all y’all to help him … help his daughter Lindsay Lohan. Here is the full text of Michael Lohan’s latest blogpost, as always all spelling and grammatical errors are his own:

Like I said in the past, “if I see or hear of anyone or anything causing harm or is seen as a threat to my children,” I will speak about it, and do anything I can to try to intervene regardless of the repercussions on me. With that said, after seeing promise and thanking God for Lindsay’s freedom from SaMANtha’s bondage, I see now, that since SaMANtha has once again, weaseled her way back into Lindsay”s life, things have taken a dark turn. While I was enthused that Ali was with Lindsay, rather than SaMANtha, I am torn to see that SaMANtha has once again manipulated Lindsay into leaving her little sister in LA, only to join SaMANtha on another DJ gig in Boston. Was this again, a means for SaMANtha to earn more money through Lindsay”s presence? Did SaMANtha’s fee drop so much and so quickly when word got out that they parted ways? Are we so blind? Is Lindsay so blind? I know Dina and my kids aren’t because they tell me so. But then again, why does Dina tell me one thing and do another?! When a mother or father sees their child in turmoil (losing weight, not working, and purportedly cutting herself) are we supposed to stand by , remain silent and pretend it isn’t happening? Or are we suppose to step to the plate and not care what people think, and do something about it? Well, as you can see, I’m not going to sit back and let it slide. I am asking everyone out their to intervene in every way possible to help Lindsay, and quite possibly, save her life. Help this wonderful, good hearted and gifted young lady to see what SaMANtha is doing to her and how she is destroying her life. Help her to see that ever since SaMANtha came into her life, nothing good has come of it. As a matter of fact, Lindsay hasn’t used her gifts like she did before meeting SaMANtha. Just LOOK! The proof is there! These aren’t just words, but FACTS! PLEASE HELP!

Seriously … just when you thought that Michael Lohan couldn’t sink lower into desperation in order to gain a little attention he has to sink, well, lower. Who is he talking to in this post? Why does he think that throwing out random accusations to anyone who stumbles across his blog (which, I must surmise, isn’t very many people considering that no one has even bothered to leave a comment on his site … most likely cuz no one is there to read it)? Daddy Lohan has always seemed to me to be a very needy person … with this new blog, he comes across as a whiny child who doesn’t get the attention that he craves so he acts out, screaming as loud as he can to get people to notice him. I really think if Michael Lohan got a life of his own and refrained from trying to live a life thru his daughter Lindsay Lohan he’d be a much happier person. But, honestly, I doubt he’ll ever change. I’m sure he’ll be whining and crying for years and years to come. Sad.

Michael Lohan Claims Truce With Lindsay Lohan

Yesterday I posted an update from the world of Michael Lohan and his new official blog and I mentioned that he would be chatting with folks LIVE via video chat on said blog last night. It turns out that his LIVE video chat sessions will run on a weekly basis, as last night’s session went off without a hitch. But, before Daddy Lohan got on the webcam to address his legion of fans/haters he posted a short message on his site that announced to the world that he and his estranged daughter, Lindsay Lohan, had called a truce … suggesting that all’s right with the pair:

There is a truce between Lindsay and I, so please stop adding any fuel to the fire. I respectfully ask that all sources, so called friends and mouthpieces refrain from any more comments or suggestions on her blog.

What? This makes no sense. Just for the mere fact that Michael Lohan has taken to blogging will lead to further back and forth between him and Lindsay and their blogs. As of yet, Lindsay has not addressed the existence of her father’s blog or the comments he’s made to the public since his site went online last weekend but I suspect that some sort of mention will come. Despite the fact that he claims that his blog is not about Lindsay Lohan or his family, he can’t seem to go more than 4 minutes without mentioning them in some fashion. At any rate, Michael Lohan did manage to successfully pull off his video chat last night, logging on at the appointed hour to answer questions from interested folks:

Truth be told, I couldn’t watch more than 5 minutes of it without zoning out … but from what I saw, it seemed like he was getting positive messages from the participants (some of whom I think he knew personally). This morning, Lohan posted a new blogpost along with a photo of Jesus Christ and alludes that like Jesus, Michael Lohan has to deal with the problem that some people like to listen while others don’t. I’m having a hard time with his stream of consciousness but I’m sure it all makes sense to him. I wonder how long he plans on keeping up this whole blogging venture. I suspect that he is likely to keep it up as long as he feels there is an audience to talk to. On the one hand, I’d like to see how far he’s willing to go. On the other hand, I’d also like to see him go away forever. Decisions, decisions.

Checkin’ In & Chattin’ With Michael Lohan

Over the weekend we learned that a new blog was launched that is supposedly written by Lindsay Lohan’s estranged and fame-hungry father Michael Lohan. His first blogpost promised that he would be bringing us “the truth” and then went on a bit of a rant to malign Lindsay’s superstar DJ girlfriend Samantha Ronson. Today we learn that Daddy Lohan posted a new blogpost where he seems to try and justify his right to blog “the truth” and randomly ends up showing some love to Girls Gone Wild creator (and ex-felon) Joe Francis who Lohan appears to admire. Here is the full text of Michael Lohan’s latest blogpost, all spelling/grammatical errors are his own:

Why is it that when people make comments based on conjecture or their own personal views, other people give what they say such credence? When in fact, comments based on fact or the truth, are discounted? Do pictures lie! For example, how is it that a person like Joe Francis who knows my entire family was beaten up verbally for standing up and speaking the truth! Do any of you know him? Well I do! And besides being a good friend, an intelligent person, and good business man, he was there for my family in some of the hardest times. Yet, because he had some controversy in his own life and he is in the public eye, people beat him up in the press just like they do me.

Is it so wrong for standing up or speaking out for what you believe in? For having a voice in order to help someone or a given situation? I guess if you are not in the public eye and you have a squeaky clean image, you might get by. But then again, are any of us that perfect and have never made a mistake or a poor decision? Have any of you ever heard the phrase, “Let he who is without sin cast the first stone?” (John 8:7) If it offends you, I am sorry for quoting scripture, but in fact many scriptures are inveterate (deeply rooted) in our lives.

So before we make a comment or pass judgment on anyone else, shouldn’t we ask ourselves, “Have I made mistakes too?” And if so, we have no right knocking or slandering anyone, unless we of course, can live outside the box without taking the time to look within first.

This does not only apply to me, but to anyone who has something to say about someone they love or something they believe in. I am not here, and neither should you, to slam anyone. Instead, we should offer positive and meaningful advice on any content up for discussion. Especially if we have experienced the topic of discussion. We all act out at times out of emotion. We don’t take time to think. But we should! There is a saying by Pascal that says “The heart has reason that even reason does not know.” Think about that. Because to me, when you love a person with all your heart and you see them hurting or in need, you will do anything you possibly can to help them, even at the risk of being hurt yourself.
