More Tay Tay for you you
Taylor Lautner’s ‘Men’s Health’ Magazine Outtakes

Last month we saw a few nice photos of Taylor Lautner on the cover and in the pages of Men’s Health magazine and since then, a bunch of outtake photos from that photoshoot have come to light … behold:

Yes, yes … very nice pictures. As you can see, Taylor thought it best to not share his “health” with the readers of Men’s Health magazine … choosing instead to give it away in the pages of Rolling Stone magazine. Even still, I don’t think many of y’all have much complaint about any photos of Taylor Lautner, right?

His trainer explains how to 'Sculpt a Monster 6-Pack'
Taylor Lautner Does ‘Men’s Health’ Magazine

Twilight star Taylor Lautner is featured on the cover and in the pages of the new issue of Men’s Health magazine but it is his trainer Jordan Yuam who spoke to the mag about Tay Tay‘s training regime. Here is Taylor‘s Men’s Health cover and some excerpts from Yaum‘s interview:

Walk into any gym, and you’ll see the same thing: Lots of guys doing lots of reps of just one or two abs exercises. “And that’s one reason why so few of them have six packs,” says Jordan Yuam, NCEP, who helped actor Taylor Lautner pack on 30 pounds of lean muscle (and a monster six-pack) for the blockbuster film New Moon. “Your abs are like every other muscle in your body, and the same rules of muscle-building apply.” In practice, that means targeting your core no more than three days a week (on non-consecutive days), and hitting it with a variety of exercises that work every muscle between your hips and chest. Here are five moves that helped Lautner land the number one spot on Access Hollywood’s “Top 5 Hollywood Abs” list. Weave them into your own workouts for similarly impressive results. And if you want maximum gains in minimal time “superset them,” advises Jordan. “Pick two exercises, and do sets of each back to back without rest in between.”

Lawd, this sounds like a lot of work … none of it fun … but considering the pay off, I can understand why some guys subject themselves to this kind of torture. After the jump, check out a couple photos of Taylor Lautner from his Men’s Health photoshoot and read more horribly unfun-sounding ways to build muscle mass …

Taylor Kitsch Gets Mostly Nekkid For ‘Men’s Health’ Magazine

A few week’s ago we learned that Taylor Kitsch, who can be seen as Gambit in X-Men Origins: Wolverine in theaters now, was featured on the cover and in the pages of the April issue of Men’s Health magazine. By some tragic happenstance, I totally missed posting Taylor‘s extensive (and very fleshy) photoshoot that was published in the mag … an error that I must now remedy. Here is a batch of hawt photos of Mr. Kitsch from this issue of Men’s Health:

MMM MMM MMM. Oh … and there is more where this came from. After the jump, check out another batch of photos that show Taylor Kitsch looking even hotter (if you can believe that) …

Team Zac? Team Jason?
Zac Efron Vs. Jason Statham: Who’s The Hotter Flag?

Zac Efron‘s new film 17 Again opens in theaters today as does Jason Statham‘s new film Crank: High Voltage … but the competition between these two gentlemen doesn’t end there. Zac Efron, as we are well aware, is featured on the cover and in the pages of the new issue of GQ magazine and in his photospread is photographed doing the “human flag” on a parking meter. Jason Statham is featured in the new issue of Men’s Health magazine and is also photographed doing the “human flag”. Here is a side-by-side comparison of the shirtless hunks showing their physical prowess …

So the question becomes … which guy is the hotter of the two? While Zac has youth and a full head of hair on his side, Jason has the advantage of being able to do the most extreme version of the human flag by fully extending his arms. It’s a tough choice … but I gotta know which side you fall on. Are you Team Jason or Team Zac?

How to get into Superhero shape
Taylor Kitsch Does ‘Mens Health’ Magazine

Taylor Kitsch, star of the NBC‘s Little Engine that Could TV series Friday Night Lights and the upcoming superhero flick X-Men Origins: Wolverine, is featured on the cover and in the pages of the new issue of Men’s Health magazine. Considering that Kitsch is a studly certified personal trainer (which I did not know before reading this article), he seems the perfect kind of chap to be featured in this mag. Here is Taylor‘s coverphoto and a portion of his coverstory:

Taylor Kitsch was a hockey player as he was growing up in Canada. Now he’s a certified personal trainer and plays a stud running back in Friday Night Lights. So he knows that conditioning means more than pushing iron at the gym, although he loves that, too. If he stuck to only one routine, he’d miss out on new ways to shape up. And he certainly wouldn’t have joined a down-and-dirty boxing gym in Austin, Texas, the city he calls home. But that’s where Kitsch, 28, now works out regularly. He ramped up his boxing while prepping for the role of Gambit, the card-throwing, combative mutant in X-Men Origins: Wolverine. In the ring, he goes as hard as he can for 3 minutes, takes a minute off, and then repeats. This approach now infiltrates all of the actor’s cardio sessions, boxing or otherwise. “Keeping up that pace revs my metabolism and keeps it there all day,” says Kitsch. The result: more stamina, to be sure, but also cobblestone abs. Studies have shown that short interval training burns more fat than long, steady-state cardio sessions do. But you don’t have to don gloves to fortify your own workouts with the principles of pugilism. Just follow Kitsch’s model: high-intensity interval training; rapid-fire changes; and an emphasis on all-around conditioning. It works wonders for any sport, in any gym, with any workout.

Yeah, it sounds like a lot of hard work to get into shape … I’m glad I don’t have to bother with such nonsense. But I am very glad that hotties like Taylor Kitsch do worry about such things so … let’s read on. After the jump, check out another photo of Taylor from this issue of Men’s Health and learn his work-out tips so that YOU TOO can get into superhero shape …

Unfortch, he's wearing clothes. Boo.
Ryan Reynolds Does ‘Men’s Health’ Magazine

Ryan Reynolds, husband of Scarlett Johansson and all-around hottie, is featured on the cover and in the pages of the new issue of Men’s Health magazine. Folks familiar with Men’s Health know that the dudes featured in the mag’s pages are usually half-to-mostly nekkid … sadly, that is not the case with these new pics of Ryan. Check out these hot, yet, fully clothed photos of Ryan Reynolds:

Altho the man is wearing clothing covering every part of his body (damnit) he does look very handsome in his attire. The good news is that that this issue of Men’s Health has two covers … and Ryan is featured on both. After the jump, check out the other cover of Men’s Health magazine that features Ryan Reynolds and a couple extra photos from insde the mag …

Lips like sugar
Cam Gigandet Does ‘Men’s Health’ Magazine

Cam Giganet, who stars as hottie badvamp James in the new Twilight movie, is featured on the cover and in the pages of the new issue of Men’s Health magazine. Men’s Health, as some of you are well aware, tends to put only the hottest, most fit celebs on their covers (like David Beckham, thank you very much) and this month is no exception … behold:

Cam talks to the magazine about how he handles fear when it comes to working in showbiz saying, “You’re selling a product that happens to be yourself. That brings out so many insecurities. There’s so much fear of failure because it’s so rampant, it’s everywhere. It was paralyzing to the point where I couldn’t get work or enjoy anything. To get where I am, I had to learn to live with fear. It’s all fear. You have to let go of that and keep moving forward.” He also talks about his stint working on The O.C. and being happy & contented in the moment, “Well, you can always do what the O.C. kids did and hate your work. When I was on that show, they all just wanted to go on and do bigger things. I imagine that’s hard. You can be as frustrated as you want, but you still have to show up for work. People don’t want to hear about it if you’re frustrated with your big career break. You still have to have a sense of gratitude and professionalism no matter what you do. I’ve been mad at everyone and everything at times. Deal with it at home.” And, of course, he talks to the mag about how he stays in shape … which is less important to me … I’m just interested in gawking at how “in shape” he is ;) After the jump, check out one more (dreamy) photo of Cam from this month’s issue of Men’s Health magazine …

Sweatin' to the oldies
David Beckham Does ‘Men’s Health’ Magazine

Men’s Health magazine has chosen David Beckham to grace the cover of the September issue of their mag (due out on newsstands August 16). The issue features a pretty cool photoshoot of Becks engaged in a good ol’ fashioned workout in a Rockyesque gym circa the 1920s. Here is one of two covers of the new issue of Men’s Health magazine which features our dear Becks:

Wooo, he looks good. After the jump, check out the alternate magazine cover, a few pics from his old school photoshoot and a few quotes from the coverstory interview …

Aaron Eckhart Does ‘Men’s Health’ Magazine

Aaron Eckhart, who stars as Harvey Dent (who eventually becomes supervillain Two Face) in next month’s Batman sequel The Dark Knight, is featured on the cover and in the pages of the new August issue of Men’s Health magazine … take a look:

Now see, Aaron Eckhart is one of those hot men that is classically handsome in that “guy next door” sort of way. He’s got a great smile which makes him look approachable and Hollywood good looks that will take him far in the biz. I am very happy that he has been cast in the new Batman franchise. Like Christian Bale in the lead role, I am very much looking forward to many years ahead of seeing Eckhart on the big screen in future Batman movies.
