A week ago today we learned that trainwreck Mel Gibson copped a plea bargain in the domestic assault case against him that allowed him to plead No Contest to misdemeanor simple battery without having to serve any jailtime. Today we learn that Gibson has surrendered himself to police in order to be formally booked, processed and be mug shot for the crime. Check out angry Mel‘s newest mug shot below.

Last Summer we were “treated” to a series of recorded telephone conversations (HERE, HERE and HERE) between admitted racist Mel Gibson and the mother of his youngest child Oksana Grigorieva that resulted in charges being brought against him for assault. Despite the fact that Gibson admitted to slapping Oksana (tho her injuries imply that he did much more than slap her), he has managed to work out a plea bargain deal that will keep him out of jail with a plea of no contest. Apparently as part of the deal, Mel will continue to receive counseling and Oksana is OK with the plea bargain so … yeah. Celebrity justice at work.

A couple of weekends ago we got our first look at some of the cast of The Hangover 2 filming their first scenes for the much-anticipated sequel film. Earlier this week, it was widely reported that Mel Gibson was cast in the film to make a cameo as an “angry tattoo artist” to not only try and help revive his career but also to, I’m sure, to capitalize a bit on his notoriety. It turns out that Mel will NOT be appearing in The Hangover 2 after all, because many people involved in the film pressured the director to fire him … because those people do NOT want to appear in the same movie as Mel Gibson:

Mel Gibson’s planned cameo in “The Hangover Part II” has been canceled. Warner Bros. Pictures and director Todd Phillips say the embattled actor won’t be appearing in the sequel to the popular ensemble comedy. Gibson’s cameo role as a tattoo artist in the film was announced earlier this week. Phillips said Thursday that producers supported his decision to cast Gibson, who has been engaged in a high-profile custody battle with ex-girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva, but the decision “ultimately did not have the full support of my entire cast and crew.” The film is set to reunite Bradley Cooper, Zach Galifianakis, Justin Bartha and Ed Helms, who starred in the 2009 summer blockbuster. The sequel is scheduled for release next year.

Among the most vocal stars of the film who angrily voiced their displeasure that Gibson had been cast in the film was Zach Galifianakis. I have to say, I was totally annoyed when I heard that Mel Gibson was cast in Hangover 2 because I have no intention of ever supporting any of his professional endeavors again. The man is an admitted anti-Semite, homophobe, racist and misogynist … proved by his own words. My first thought after I heard about his cameo role was, Well, I guess I won’t be seeing The Hangover 2. Now that he has been fired from the movie, I can resume my plan to see the film when it gets released next year. I doubt that Mel Gibson will be persona non grata forever … after all, people (in Hollywood, particularly) have a short memory span … but I’m quite relieved that folks haven’t forgotten just yet what a scuzzball Mel Gibson truly is.

In what is becoming a sad daily occurrence, RadarOnline has released another audio recording that features actor Mel Gibson hurling extremely abusive and racist comments at his estranged babymama Oksana Grigorieva. Over the weekend a first recording was released that featured Gibson verbally attacking Grigorieva with heavily racist language and yesterday another recording was released that included even MORE abusive and threatening language. Today yet another tape has been released where Gibson refers to Grigorieva as a “whore” and refers to one of the couple’s Latina employees as a “wetback”. Here are the sad yet no-longer-shocking deets of this new recording:

Mel Gibson is caught using yet another ethnic slur while going on a crazed rampage on new audio exclusively obtained and released by RadarOnline.com. During a bitter argument with Oksana Grigorieva, the mother of his eight-month-old daughter Lucia, the embattled actor refers to a Latino worker as a “wetback” … “You’re a f*cking mentally deprived idiot,” Mel screams at one point. “You’re a f*cking using whore…I own you,” he rages. ”You don’t count.” Gibson argues with Grigorieva over someone who works at both their houses, and insists that the woman can work only at his house now. When Oksana says that she needs the worker because she has the baby, Mel explodes and calls the woman a “wetback.” The star is clearly heard on audio saying, “I will fire (name omitted) if she’s at your house. I will make it known and fire her. I’ll report her to the f *cking people that take f *cking money from the wetbacks, ok?” Toward the end of the tape Mel drops a strong hint that despite the tens of millions of dollars he’s made, he may be having financial problems. “I’m paying my tax money instead of the credit card (bill). Don’t you get it?!” he screams … “You made me moneyless.”

On Friday we got to listen to a deplorable audio recording of actor Mel Gibson verbally abusing his babymama Oksana Grigorieva which included offensive and extremely racist language. Today a new recording has been released and this one, IMHO, is just as bad if not worse than the first. In this recording, Gibson actually admits to physically assaulting Grigorieva (he tells her she “deserved it”) in between screams, pants and silences that seem like he is trying to compose himself … before he seemingly threatens to kill her by telling her he can put her “in a fucking rose garden”. It’s pretty damn scary to listen to as an outsider, I cannot imagine what it must be like to hear these sorts of things when they are directed at you:

The level of hatred and threatened violence in this recording is unbelievable … while the racist comments he made in the first tape are shocking, these violent comments are absolutely heinous and quite scary. For the past week or so we’ve been hearing about an audio recording that allegedly featured known anti-Semitic actor Mel Gibson ranting at his babymama Oksana Grigorieva. The recording was said to include strong language which included the use of the “N” word. Today, that recording has made its way to the Internets so that anyone interested can hear what kind of disgusting slime-ball Mel Gibson truly is:

As soon as reports of this audio recording came out, crazy Mel went out in public with this beaver puppet on his hand in a seeming attempt to try and divert attention from the disgusting things he reportedly said to Oksana. A transcript of the recording quotes Mel Gibson saying this:

“You go out in public and it’s a fucking embarrassment to me. You look like a fucking bitch in heat. And if you get raped by a pack of ni**ers it will be your fault. Alright? Because you provoked it. You are provocatively dressed all the time with your fake boobs that you feel you have to show off. I don’t like it. I don’t want that woman. I don’t want you. I don’t trust you. I don’t love you.”

Mel reportedly got so tired of all the whispers about him at church that he got up to the pulpit to threaten to rain down hellfire and damnation upon them all if they didn’t stop gossiping about his infidelitious relationship with his mistress Oksana Grigorieva and their forthcoming baby. Personally, I think Mel should shut his trap. If the worst he’s getting from his fellow church-goers is whispers then he really needs to quit bitching. In the olden times, they would’ve just dragged his mistress out into the street and stoned her to death. Last week we learned from a report from TMZ that Mel Gibson‘s mistress, Oksana Grigorieva (whom he recently started up a romantic relationship with while he was still married to his wife of 29 years Robyn) is pregs with his child … which resulted in Robyn filing for divorce. Mel appeared on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno last night and confirmed to Jay that his girlfriend is pregs with his child, joking that he can now be called “Octo-Mel” since his mistress will be giving birth to his 8th child — classy, classy guy:

The actor confirmed the news during a taping of NBC’s The Tonight Show With Jay Leno to air [last night]. “I guess I’m ‘Octo-Mel,’” says Gibson, who already has seven kids with his wife of 28 years, Robyn. Robyn filed for divorce six weeks ago amidst speculation that Grigorieva, a singer on Gibson’s record label, was expecting a child. “My wife and I, our marriage ended three years ago and we’ve been separated ever since then,” Gibson tells Leno. “These things happen. It’s unfortunate, it’s sad, but you know she is an admirable woman — we still got kids together, we’re friends.” “Look,” Gibson continues. “When it’s all said and done, I did a pretty good hatchet job on my marriage myself. Ha! Right! There really ain’t much damage control that can be done at this point so I guess saying that Mel didn’t even know his mistress was pregnant when his wife filed for divorce is all they could come up with. You know, even if you buy that “we’ve been separated for 3 years” line he’s trying to feed us, it’s pretty disrespectful to sleep around ON YOUR WIFE and the mother of your 7 children while you’re still married to her. WWJD? The hypocrisy of Gibson‘s religiousness just grosses me out to no end. His pious bullshizz turned me off to him years ago, this just seals the deal and shows the man’s true colors, IMHO. I wish Ms. Grigorieva all the luck in the world … I hope that Mel Gibson doesn’t eff her and her baby over in the same way he effed over his wife.

And so … we may now know exactly why Mel Gibson‘s wife Robyn decided to file for divorce last month after about 29 years of marriage. According to a new report from TMZ, Mel‘s mistress Oksana Grigorieva (whom he took to the very public LA screening of X-Men Origins: Wolverine last month) is pregnant with his child. Uhhhh … yeah, I think that’s a pretty good reason for a wife to file from divorce from her skeevy husband:

Until recently, Oksana was living in a house purchased by songwriter/producer David Foster, with whom she also had a relationship.

Wait … wasn’t Mel Gibson spouting all this religiousness biz back when he was promoting his film The Passion of the Christ? Yeah, that talk kinda fell by the wayside when he got arrested for drunk driving back in the Summer of 2006 … but he has since kept his nose out of trubs — well, until this mess came out. If true, I hope his wife Robyn is able to take him for all he’s worth in divorce court. It’s bad enough that he, apparently, cheated on his wife but to father a lovechild in the process? That’s pretty low. I certainly would not look to Mel Gibson‘s moral compass if I were lookin’ for someone to emulate. I do hope the old adage that cheaters never prosper holds true in this case. What a totally crappy situation for the still-current Mrs. Gibson.

TMZ is reporting that Robyn Gibson, wife of Mel Gibson for the past 29 years or so, has filed for divorce today citing “irreconcilable differences” as the reasons for the split … which is very interesting because just about a month ago, new photos surfaced of pious Mel frolicking on a beach in Costa Rica with a much younger, bikini-clad woman. HMMM.

We’ve learned Mel Gibson’s wife Robyn has just filed legal papers to divorce Mel Gibson, her husband of 28 years, citing “irreconcilable differences.” Pretty ironic — Robyn signed the papers the day before Good Friday. Sources tell us there is no prenuptial agreement — they were married in 1980, before Mel Gibson amassed a fortune estimated at $900 million back in 2006. Under the laws of California, community property — which includes earnings — is divided 50/50. The Gibson’s have 7 children, but only one — Tom, who turns 10 tomorrow — is a minor. In Robyn’s legal papers, filed this morning in L.A. County Superior Court, she seeks joint physical and legal custody of Tom. Robyn is also asking for spousal support and attorneys fees. Robyn lists the date of separation as “to be determined.” This is important, because earnings generally cease to be community property when the couple separates. There could be a skirmish over this. We’re told the couple grew increasingly apart over the last few years, especially since Mel’s drunk driving arrest in 2006. There have been reports that Mel has been involved with another woman, which the actor denies, but we’re told the reasons for the divorce go beyond any third party. If there is a fight, Robyn is in good hands — she’s repped by disso-queen Laura Wasser, who has handled divorces for the likes of Angelina Jolie, Britney Spears and Stevie Wonder.

While the reasons for the divorce “go beyond any third party” that doesn’t mean that Laura Wasser (who is an excellent attorney) won’t use that bit of information to her client’s greatest benefit. The way it sounds from this initial information provided, Robyn Gibson seems to be in a great position for a huge pay day … but considering the drama caused by Mel‘s DUI arrest a few years ago, I’m actually surprised she stayed with him this long. Break-ups are never fun but sometimes they are just inevitable.
