Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick are playing show and tell. On Monday, the couple, who greeted twin daughters Marion and Tabitha June 23, released a picture of the beautiful new additions to their family. The girls, born via a surrogate, were joined by their older brother, James Wilkie, 6 ½.

Marion Loretta Elwell Broderick weighed 5 lbs., 11 oz., and Tabitha Hodge Broderick weighed 6 pounds. Both Hodge and Elwell are family names on Parker’s side. The babies are doing beautifully and the entire family is over the moon.”

Yay!! Those are some serious names for a couple of tiny baby girls … but I’m sure Marion and Tabitha will grow into their very long names soon enough. Again, much love and congrats goes out to the newly expanded Parker-Broderick family!!

CBS news in Martins Ferry, Ohio are reporting that the twin girls of Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick have arrived. Sources close to East Ohio Regional Hospital in Martins Ferry confirm for CBS News that the surrogate mother for Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick gave birth to twins this morning. Sources tell WTRF Reporter Dave Elias that Parker and Broderick are at the hospital with the surrogate. We are also learning that Parker and Broderick are expected to make some type of announcement before they leave the hospital. However, Hospital Spokesperson Maggie Espina would not confirm or deny our reports. She would only say that the hospital has no comment at this time. Security at the hospital is tight this morning. We’re told additional guards have been brought in and even more are on standby, if needed, as this story is expected to get national attention.

Yay!! Much love and congrats goes out to SJP and Matthew on the expansion of their beautiful family. The couple already have a son, James Wilkie, so I’m sure they are ecstatic over the addition of baby girls to the fam. As of yet, no names have been announced for the twin baby girls but one hopes that the proud new parents will divulge that info if they do make an official birth announcement today. Split, shmit! Instead of going their separate ways, as has been whispered and denied for weeks, Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick are pooling their assets yet again. The couple are expecting twin daughters via a surrogate mother. “Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick are happily anticipating the birth of their twin daughters later this summer with the generous help of a surrogate,” the actors’ publicists said in a statement. “The entire family is overjoyed.” Parker, 44, and Broderick, 47, also have a son, 6-year-old James Wilkie. A source says that the already proud parents had been trying unsuccessfully to expand their brood for some time. “At a certain point, they were presented with an alternative,” the source says. “They could have kept trying on their own, but they’ve always wanted to have more children and felt this was the best way to go.” The insider says that Parker plans to take some time off after the twins’ arrival—but not much. If all goes according to plan, she intends to start shooting the Sex and the City sequel sometime this summer, as well.

Regarding the filming of the Sex and the City sequel, I understand that the movie will go into production in September … depending on when the babies are born, that should be plenty of time for her to spend time with the young’ns before getting back to work. I am overjoyed at this news. I really love SJP and Matthew together and I sincerely hope that this news will end all of that talk that the couple are splitting up. I gotta say … I was very bummed to see that Madonna showed up at the VF party sans her much younger beau Jesus Luz. I was really hoping she and her boytoy would walk the red carpet together and set the gossips afire with her brazen brash & sassiness. Boo. On the plus side, tho, Jennifer Aniston was happy to cozy up to her beau John Mayer for the cameras … tho, the couple did not make a scene on the red carpet in full view of all of the cameras … they saved their canoodling for inside the shindig. While many folks make the rounds on Oscar night and hit up as many parties as they can, the folks who get an invite to the Vanity Fair party make sure to make an appearance and some end up staying all night long … it’s that good. I’m sure a great time was had by all … now that we’ve got the 81st Academy Awards in the can, I’m sure many folks were rearin’ to get to the celebratin’ (or the drownin’ ones sorrows in free booze … like Brangelina). See, there really ain’t no bizznazz like showbiz.

Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick fled to their beach home for some alone time following press allegations the actor had cheated on his wife. The couple and their five-year-old James Wilke escaped to their house in The Hamptons, upstate New York last month following the reports. Far from her fashionable Sex And The City character Carrie, SJP dressed casually for a day on the beach in blue board shorts and a stripy vest, which showed off her golden tan. Meanwhile her husband of 11 years Matthew appeared a tad sunburnt as he covered up in a grey t-shirt and patterned blue shorts. The couple spent the day on the beach playing with their son and Jack Russell terrier in the sand for a traditional family day out. At the end of the day, Sarah Jessica, 43, tied up the numerous buckets and spades left discarded on the sand by their son, as Matthew kept the dog occupied.

Despite the fact that they don’t look all that happy in these pics together, I would venture to guess that things are just fine between the two of them … well, about as fine as they’ve always been. I just hope they really are ok. They have such a cute family, I hate to see Carrie Bradshaw and Ferris Bueller break-up.

Sarah Jessica Parker and husband Matthew Broderick were photographed having a date night in New York on Wednesday following a report that the actor had an affair with a 25-year-old woman. The couple, who are rarely pictured together in public, emerged from a Midtown restaurant Wednesday night, Broderick’s arm wrapped around his wife as they smiled at photographers. It’s the first time the pair, who have been married for 11 years, have been seen together since Star magazine claimed he had a three-month relationship with another woman while Parker was filming the “Sex and the City” movie. Broderick and Parker’s reps never responded to FOXNews.com’s request for comment on the Star magazine report, and Broderick never commented on the matter.

Personally, I don’t necessarily believe the Star report that any infidelity occurred in their marriage but I totally get why the couple may have decided to step out together for this photo op. Just one date night can do much to undue some of the damage done by the report. In the end, tho, it’s impossible to really know what may or may not be going on in a couple’s marriage like this. Mebbe I just want to believe that everything is fine for these two cuz I like them both so much. I hope they’re doing ok and that this date night together was more genuine rather than more contrived.

Sarah Jessica Parker’s 11 year marriage to Matthew Broderick has been hit by claims he had an affair with a 25-year-old youth worker. American magazine Star alleges the actor had a liaison with the unnamed woman from November to February while Sarah was shooting the big screen film, Sex And The City. Broderick’s spokesperson Simon Hall didn’t deny the allegations, telling the magazine instead: “There will be no comment.” The publication reports the pair met in a Manhattan bar last November and later he was allegedly seen heading to the woman’s apartment carrying wine and flowers. It claims Broderick, 46, told the brunette his relationship with Parker, 43, was “not good”. Parker, who has a five-year-old son, James Wilkie, with the star, has previously admitted that their marriage is tumultuous at times. In an April interview she said, “I’m really lucky that he is the father of my son, but that doesn’t mean that we always agree on everything. We’ve had some rather treacherous train rides. I’m happy to be with him regardless but I’m sure there are many times he wishes he wasn’t with me.”

I managed to sneak a peek at this issue of Star magazine and was surprised to find out that they were able to publish an actual photo of the alleged mistress that Matthew supposedly cheated with. After the jump, check out her photo …

Are they freaking kidding? The magazine goes so far as to splash this story on the cover of their magazine and all they have to offer as proof is blurry photo of a pixelated face? In the end, I don’t necessarily believe this Star report but you never know. I guess we’ll know soon enough if this turns out to be true or not … and we’ll also find out if the magazine’s website will ever come back.
