"I've never looked at myself in a negative way."
Jennifer Lopez Does British ‘Marie Claire’ Magazine

La Diva Latina herself, Jennifer Lopez, is featured on the cover and in the pages of the new issue of British Marie Claire magazine (on newsstands today). In her coverstory interview, J. Lo explains how much she loves herself, that her world-famous booty is *not* insured for millions and, of course, her babies. Here is our first look at La Lopez on the cover of Marie Claire magazine along with some excerpts from her interview:

Smouldering in a series of barely-there ensembles, Jennifer oozes confidence, and reveals the secret to happiness is being comfortable with yourself. ‘I was always very comfortable with who I was,’ she told us. ‘I’ve never looked at myself in a negative way.’ But she still works hard to keep those killer curves. ‘Just like anybody, I try to watch what I eat. There’s no big science to it, which is what sucks,’ she reveals. And revealing her sense of humour, the Latin diva laughs when asked if rumours her famous derriere has been insured for millions are true. ‘No! Though I thought that story was funny. In fact, we traced that story, and that was a rumour that started in London,’ she says. And despite her reputation for being a diva, it’s clear that couldn’t be further from the truth. Jen seems to have finally found contentment with husband Marc and baby twins Max and Emme, who even joined her on the shoot. ‘Since we first met I always felt that, if I got into trouble, he was the one person I could call and he would always be there. That to me is love in its purest form,’ she revealed.

You can read the online version of J. Lo‘s interview with British Marie Claire magazine HERE or the whole enchilada in the hardcopy of MC, which is on UK newwstands now (on US newsstands in a couple of days). As you can see from the coverphoto, J. Lo is still rockin’ all that junk in her trunk. After the jump, you can see photos of Lopez showing off her other assets as well …

"We're pretty mundane. We walk our dogs, rehearse lines."
Anna Paquin Does British ‘Marie Claire’ Magazine

True Blood protagonist Anna Paquin is featured in the new British issue of Marie Claire magazine, the same issue that features Nicole Richie on the cover, and in her interview Anna opens up about working with and falling in love with her TB co-star Stephen Moyer. According to Anna, she and Stephen easily fell in love, enjoy a pretty mundane life together and are very happily looking forward to gettin’ hitched:

She has been in the Hollywood spotlight since she won an Oscar at the tender age of 11. But somehow, Anna Paquin has remained something of an enigma – especially where her private life is concerned. But after falling in love with co-star Stephen Moyer, 40, on the set of True Blood, the 27-year-old actress has opened up about their relationship. The couple, who met while filming the HBO show, have announced they plan to marry. They share an intense on-screen chemistry, playing telepathic waitress Sookie Stackhouse and her 172-year-old vampire love interest, Bill Compton. But Anna says the development of their off-screen relationship caught everyone by surprise. ‘Put it this way, I don’t think anyone knew before we did,’ she told Marie Claire magazine. ‘Clearly there was a reason we were cast in that particular combination but… it’s not like either of us were looking for love or anything trite like that. It wasn’t something we saw happening.’ The actress says the couple are united by their passion for acting. ‘We’re pretty mundane. We walk our dogs, rehearse lines. But our shared passion for our jobs is a really exciting thing. It’s part of the reason we ended up together’ … ‘I had no idea 2009 was going to be the vampire year,’ she said, referring to the recent trend for blood-sucking romance epics. ‘I just loved [True Blood’s] mix of funny, campy and weird.’ But she says despite her wedding plans she and her fiancé aren’t planning on starting a family just yet. ‘We’re doing nights on season three now,’ she said. ‘I have trouble planning anything more than brunch with my friends. ‘But when the time’s right, we’ll do it.’

It’s nice to hear that Anna and Stephen are so down-to-Earth and, well, boring. David and I are terribly boring … and that may just be the kind of happy life together that will stand the test of time. I’m always weary of work romances lasting but, meh, things might be different for these two. After the jump, check out another photo from Anna‘s Marie Claire photospread …

"I felt it was ... unfair to say someone has an eating disorder when they don’t."
Nicole Richie Does British ‘Marie Claire’ Magazine

Nicole Richie, fashion/jewelry designer and mother of two extraordinaire, is featured on the cover and in the pages of the new issue of British Marie Claire magazine. In her coverstory interview, Nicole opens up about the allegations that she previously suffered from an eating disorder … allegations she calls “insulting and irritating”. Here is Nicole‘s MC coverphoto and some excerpts from her coverstory interview:

These sizzling pictures of Nicole Richie give little clue to the weight issues which have plague her recent years. With a tiny Size Zero frame giving her a severe case of ‘lollipop head’ syndrome, fans had become concerned for her health, insisting she had become too thin. But Nicole, who is at her curviest best after having two children with boyfriend Joel Madden, has come forward to reassure fans she has always been healthy. The 28-year-old also took the opportunity to blast critics who had accused her of suffering from an eating disorder. She said: ‘I felt it was a little unfair to say someone has an eating disorder when they don’t. It’s extremely insulting and irresponsible. ‘An eating disorder is serious and it’s a disease.’ The reality television star, who is the adopted daughter of singer Lionel Richie, dropped to Size Zero before falling pregnant with her first child. At her skinniest, she was pictured on a beach in 2006 and became the reluctant poster girl for Hollywood’s obsession with weight loss. But since daughter Harlow’s arrival nearly two years ago, she has looked altogether healthier. Her second child, son, Sparrow, was born four months ago and Mother Nature’s impact has been even more dramatic. Nicole previously revealed she is naturally skinny, and sometimes finds it difficult to put on weight. The full interview with Nicole appears in the March issue of Marie Claire magazine She said: ‘I think when you see me in person, you see that I’m, like, five foot one – I’m a small person. When I was heavier, everyone said I was too heavy. You can’t win in the public eye and I find it really hard. So I ignore it now, I really do. The only time it bothered me was when I was in a store trying on shoes and these girls came up to me – they were probably like 13 or 14 – and their mother came over, and she said, “Are you taking care of yourself, because my girls think that you’re not.” That was upsetting.’ Nicole is currently preparing to kickstart her acting career as the star of a new TV sitcom … Nicole will return to the small screen for a half-hour show, which she pitched to bosses at U.S. channel ABC earlier this year. She will also produce the series, in which she stars as a working woman juggling her family and love life.

Irregardless of what Nicole used to look like (and let’s be honest, she was really thin), she looks fantastic these days … motherhood really seems to agree with her. She’s never looked better, never looked happier and I couldn’t be more thrilled at her success at life. I really admire the way she has matured, she is truly a woman that young girls can look up to. After the jump, check out a few more photos from Nicole‘s Marie Claire magazine photospread …

Just beautiful
Cate Blanchett Does British ‘Marie Claire’ Magazine

Here are a few photos from a photoshoot that Academy Award-winning actress and all around BEAUTY Cate Blanchett did for British Marie Claire magazine earlier this summer. Altho the photos aren’t new, it is the first time that I have seen them and because of their stark simplicity, I felt it incumbent to share:

I mean holy cheekbones, y’all. Cate Blanchett is just the serious hotness. You’d be hard-pressed to find an unattractive photo of Cate, I think. Not only is she an amazing actress (I just re-watched Notes on a Scandal last week and was reminded how amazing she was in that film) but she is also, I think, one of those flawlessly beautiful women that you don’t see very much of in Hollywood. She is deffo one of my faves and I love posting photos of this lovely lady.

"At some point, I want to adopt a kid ..." - Lindsay Lohan
Lindsay Lohan Does UK ‘Marie Claire’ Magazine

Lindsay Lohan is featured on the cover and in the pages of the new issue of UK Marie Claire magazine. In her coverstory interview, Lindsay makes a few startling revelations concerning her future plans (she wants to adopt, y’all) and talks a bit about her relationship with Samantha Ronson (which you know the magazine was happy to ask about) among other things. Here is Lindsay‘s Marie Claire coverphoto and portions of her interview:

Lindsay Lohan may only be 22, but she’s already started making plans to adopt a child. The reformer Hollywood hellraiser insists she is happier than ever since finding love with DJ Samantha Ronson and is looking forward to the future. After experiencing a difficult childhood and past few years, Lohan believes her life experience would make her a good mother. She tells the latest edition of Marie Claire magazine: “At some point, I want to adopt a kid as well. A child in need or a newborn from another country. I’m not sure yet.” Lohan would be the latest in a long list of Hollywood stars who have adopted, including Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman, Sharon Stone, Sheryl Crow, Calista Flockhart and Mia Farrow. After months of rumours, Lohan finally confirmed she was in a relationship with Ronson – sister of artist/producer Mark Ronson – last month. Speaking to the magazine, a defiant Lohan declared: “People can think what they want. I’m really happy and that’s all that matters.” Some have credited Ronson with helping Lohan get her life back in order after stints in rehab, a spell in jail as well as being sentenced to community service following her driving under the influence arrests. While Lohan acknowledges Ronson has been a great help in her life, she insists it is her alone who has dealt with her problems. She said: “(Samantha’s) a great person. But I think that anything that’s changed in my life is because of me. I’ve gone through it and I’ve had to deal with it and I’ve made the decision to move forward. So, yeah, she’s a great person.” The couple are so happy together they are reportedly looking at buying an apartment together in New York. Earlier this week, the couple were photographed looking loved up on holiday in Mexico.

Nice. I love that Lindsay is taking credit for her own well-being … I may have prematurely joined the chorus of folks who have credited Samantha for the positive changes in Lindsay‘s life — she is right to say that all the positivity in her life begins with her. I also applaud Lindsay‘s refusal to listen to speculation about her relationship with Samantha. In the end, it’s their business and their business alone … it really does sound like Linds is in a great place, I’m happy to hear that she’s doing so well. After the jump, check out a few of Lindsay‘s photos from her spread in this issue of Marie Claire magazine …

She wants to be an iconic legend, y'all
Beyoncé Does ‘Marie Claire’ Magazine

Beyoncé Knowles is featured on the cover and in the pages of the new UK issue of Marie Claire magazine … in her coverstory interview, Ms. B confesses that she wants to outlive the pop star shelf life and transition into legendhood. Yeah, good luck with that Miss Thang:

Forget mere celebrity. Beyoncé says she aspires to icon status. “There is a time limit on being a pop star, yes,” the Grammy-winning singer tells the October issue of Marie Claire’s U.K. edition. “Being a legend, an icon? Absolutely not.” “I’m over being a pop star,” Beyoncé, 26, adds. “I don’t wanna be a hot girl – I wanna be iconic.” Still, she admits to being frustrated with the demands of her career: “There are responsibilities that come along with this life … trying to have a romantic meal without someone sneaking in to film the whole thing,” says Beyoncé, who married Jay-Z in April. “I have to work really hard and it’s fine because I like it, I love it, but it’s a lot of sacrifice.” Acknowledging the challenges of being a minority in Hollywood, Beyoncé gives a nod to her own role models: “I think I’m opening doors for more black women, just like Halle Berry and Diana Ross opened doors for me.” The singer also expressed a sense of excitement for the political future. Regarding Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama, she says, “I’m really proud. I think we’re making a bit of progress, it’s an exciting time. We all feel part of our country now.”

At least she’s modest. After the jump, check out some other photos from her Marie Claire photospread …
