Poor Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon, their year isn’t off to the best start. Woke up this morning to the news that Nick is in hospital in Aspen with mild kidney failure.

Every year, Mariah Carey makes her way to Aspen, CO to celebrate the Xmas/New Year holidays. When she started dating then eventually married Nick Cannon, he joined in on her annual pilgrimage to Aspen. Last year, Mimi and Nick gave birth to their twin babies Monroe and Moroccan Scott so, naturally, they too get to spend their holidays in Colorado. Today we get to see Mimi in a new Jenny commercial that is themed on her hit song Make It Happen. Mariah seems very happy to show off her hot bod … and why not? She’s getting paid megabucks to do so. Mariah Carey teamed up with European wireless provider Deutsche Telekom (T-Mobile here in the US) to surprise the folks in Poland, Crotia and Macedonia with a short impromptu holiday music concert that was streamed LIVE across the Eastern European countries. In all, Mimi performed 4 songs including her smash holiday hit All I Want for Christmas is You.
