Mariah Carey, who is still mourning the death of her dear friend Whitney Houston, shared a Valentine’s Day message with all of her fans on her official Twitter profile yesterday. Altho Mimi felt it was a “bittersweet” Valentine’s Day this year, she still wanted to let all of her Lambs know how much she loves and cares for them. Awww. Over the weekend, we learned that Nick Cannon made his first post-surgery public appearance at The BET Honors in Washington DC (with wife Mariah Carey and son Moroccan Scott by his side). Earlier this month we learned that Nick Cannon was hospitalized with minor kidney failure while he was vacationing in Aspen, CO with his wife Mariah Carey and their twin children Monroe and Moroccan Scott. A couple of weeks later, we learned the happy news that Nick was released from the hospital after undergoing successful surgery so that he could recuperate at home. Today we learn that Nick made his first public appearance since his release from the hospital at the BET Honors in Washington DC last night. Last week, Pink is the new Blog writer Melissa blogged about Nick Cannon‘s hospitalization for minor kidney failure and a few days later she updated us with good news about his recovery. Today we learn from wife Mariah Carey herself that Nick has been discharged from the hospital and is now back home to recover with his family. Kidney failure is no joke, y’all so it’s a very good sign that doctors think he is well enough to leave the hospital … great news all around. Good news folks – Mariah has let us all know that things are looking up for hubby, Nick Cannon. He was hospitalized on Wednesday for mild kidney failure, and we reported that Mariah was by Nick’s bedside in an Aspen hospital. Now, doctors are saying that he is in a stable condition with a good prognosis, and will hopefully be discharged within 2 days. Hoorah!
